Nice firing Simon. I wonder, do you still use your little fiber and screen Raku kiln? I built one based upon your design and found that adding a chimney really helps to even out the temps on the shelf.

Simon, the bowl at time stamp 8:35, do you shape the bowl after you have stamped it? I love the way it came out.

He says it was a paddled piece, so yes he probably shaped it and then paddled it. I would reset the li then. Did you try it?

How much do you spend in gas and how much do you you pay a pound for gas?
The must be something wrong with the camera; you picked up that refired pot with the iron ox and say, "well, it's passable" Looks like a great pot to me. I wish I'd had "passable" pots as nice as that one. What disappointed you?
