Summer is approaching! I live in San Antonio Texas, Summer in South Texas is hard. It is hot, humid, even at night! Our light bill in summer is peaking high too~
Recently I tried this new cooling blanket and cooling pillowcases on Amazon.
They are pretty affordable. But do these blankets and pillowcases keep me cool ???

Thanks for the great review. You lot are experts in Texas with regards to coping in the heat, and trying to save money too. Maybe I will get one of these for my birthday, I am up on the attic in the UK and it gets hot humid and stuffy. I have been using ice pads and ice bricks and I have an icebox next to me at night in case I need to stock up on more. n a heatwave I have a cold spray and keep in in the fridge and add it to the icebox. I have a aproblem with my mattress which is designed to keep me warm.. in a heatwave, hence I have to keep stocking up on icebricks and pads. I am thinking of using my camping airbed at night.

I hate to says this, but Texas did have weather from hell this past winter with all those horrible storms ripped apart houses. Weather in the East Coast is bad too. And it will be hot soon. Anyway, have fun doing your UA-cam videos, and letting us know what good products are out there.

our AC is always on cuz it is 110F in Texas in summer lol! But we make the AC less cold when we sleep~

Better not be cotton on one side. Cotton does NOT wick moisture away from the body.

Perhaps you can put it on air dry in the dryer with no heat
Buy you some silk or thin polyester sheets , get them wet , ring out , place in freezer. I'd have 6-8 in the freezer. Your welcome

Here’s a tip: sleep without a blanket. No blanket can make you feel cooler than not using a blanket at all.

Does not cool your body temp. It is good at wicking away moisture
Its like a nice blanket that will keep you less warm than other blankets, but no blanket would be cooler.
Yea, it’s mainly for cooling from body sweat ~ great for places with high humidity!
@@MsMinglifestyle mechanical speaking, the higher the humidity, the less it can wick away moisture. The dryer the air the better this works to keep temperature low.
