That is unique having a Nuclear Train at Plymouth not a popular appearance. I think the nuclear train is for Devonport and Dockyard because of the Royal Navy Base .
Brilliant, thanks. 2 things, was that nuclear waste from submarines at Devonport? why were train companies wasting millions of litres of diesel running empty trains when 1 or 2 carriages would have done the job?
HST & IET trains are set lengths, so to marshal a shorter train wouldn't be practical & during this Covid pandemic the more seats available the more passengers who are travelling can comply with the social distance requirements. by spreading themselves throughout the train,
GWR have put together "short HST" sets for regional operations west of Exeter. Two power cars and four passenger cars. Thet're basically very nice quality local train sets.

The first time I saw an HST with my own two eyes was about 40 years ago at Plymouth station. The noise the diesels made scared the hell out of me!
That leading 66 on the nuclear train went through the WCML abt a week before this was recorded

What do people use like app or website to see what trains are going thru what stations at what times? I really want to know so i can catch some

SJ Media I just looked at a couple of stations (York and Doncaster) and it was showing freight train times.
