I and my group played for about a year. I was a wise fish monger that cast fish and sea based magic.

That is amazing! I love the fact that your imagination is the only limit.

Whitehack 4th edition Is my main game and I've played the following type of games:
    Supernatural horror (modern times)
    Traditional fantasy games
Untraditional fantasy games (where players Town guards or merchants)
John Carpenter clones (like escape from New York)
And much much more. It's really is an amazing book. It's main innovation is the classes are not your occupation. So if you're a bodyguard you could be, a strong class (Good at combat) or a wise class who uses magic to defend his client. There's so many types of characters you can make with this system.

It's such a simple idea but it's brilliant. I had to read that part a couple of times to fully understand the implications and freedom it provided.

I ran Yoon-Suin with Whitehack 3e a year or two ago. It really is a clever game, with some great twists on the traditional OSR template. I even wrote the FoundryVTT system for WH3e. Unfortunately my players weren't so keen, so after Yoon-Suin we moved on. I've not yet read 4e, although seeing your video I may give it a go.
Keep up the good work, really enjoying your videos.

Hey@@Chivalrics I didn't write the foundry system. I'm not sure who did but someone else definitely needs the credit

I'll be honest, it's pretty easy. I only cover stuff I really like. The problem is when I pull things off my shelf, I really really want to run them again by the time I get to the end of the video.

Ha! The part about using a D20 for percentile is the first time that I've heard it mentioned in a long, long time. I learned that from a friend over 40 years ago when I was introduced to AD&D. I have met no one else who has used that method, and whenever I have described the method, I was looked at like I was crazy!

For me, there's something really elegant about it. I love the idea of playing with just a couple of d6 and d20's

Picked up WH 3e. The format of a portable, well-formatted, art-free book with an unassuming cover is something I wish more RPG designers would do. Art is nice but I don't need it in my rulebook if it's going to make for more page-flipping or weight toting it around in a bag.

Bought it a few days ago and I'm enchanted by this system, I'll probably move my OSE campaign over to this in a few sessions.

I think enchanted is an absolutely fantastic way to put it. It's simplicity is both beautiful and genius.
