Never been to this zoo before but it did look very good. What I really loved about it was the space the animals had to roam about, I hate to see animals in small enclosures, so unnatural for them. This looked a good example of what a zoo should be, cheers Alan

My exact thoughts I’m not a massive fan of zoos because of this reason. I have recently been to Chester zoo which I though was reasonable but I have been to Newquay zoo which was very limited space for the animals which I though sucked! If we keep them captive I think they should at least have a good stretch of land to roam

Well I’ve been
Whipsnade Zoo has so much space it's one of the best zoos in the UK it's set out in zones to represent the different Continents and parts of The World where the animal come from.You can take your car round and stop at different points to see the animals in large enclosures-also the train goes round too .They walk the elephants round the zoo at certain times and even put them in a meadow to graze .It's also set in the wonderful Bedfordshire countryside with stunning views . It's got all the favourites to see but also rarer species like Indian Rhinos, sloth bears ,White Rhinos , European Brown bears, tigers, and cheetahs.

Ah dude. This is just lovely! I'm jealous. I just went to the London zoo & posted the vid on my channel but boy this is great. Favourite part was seeing the flamingos. Such beauty! Love the soundtrack too. Soothing =)

Which is better London Zoo or Whipsnade?
@@michellea9857 As someone who lives in London, we went to London zoo only once but we go to Whipsnade at least once a year. It's so massive compared to London zoo, it's a really nice day out and you never really get to see everything in one day because it is so spread out BUT that's because the enclosures are so big which is only a good thing for the animals so we prefer Whispnade which is only a 30 min drive from London anyway.

I've just returned from Sandown on the Isle of wight and the zoo there is great.
Also visited Paignton zoo and chest zoo.
So I'm now looking to visit whipsnade zoo.

What are you on about?? You clearly never been to Whipsnade zoo, the Indian Rhinos are in a huge enclosure, the video showed them basking in their open compound being cooled. So dont know what you are getting at but its way off the mark and ignorant.
