@@DerekKumo I could not get the scan to work at first. I have never used a QR code or scanned anything on my phone. kept re watching your Video. I was getting ready to contact customer service. I thought my phone was old and not working. LOL!! And by mistake I lend back from the QR code on website. and at that time the next page popped up. I went to start your Video again to see what to do next..... And lost the page on my Phone. LOL!! but I saw that it did work. So I played around and got page to come up again an I continued, It was a task but I got it done. Now I am going to call my Grandkids to show me how to work TikTok and how to create, edit and post Video's. Good Summer Job for them. LOL!!

Thank you so much for this video, I was finally able to set up my affiliate shop. I made three videos today and each one in the review I was able to see the product link. Then when I went back into my profile and watched the video, it was not there ugh. What am I doing wrong?

You don't need to upload any products to the TikTok Shop account, your affiliate account on your Regular TikTok account will still work.
In my experience, and many others' accounts I see, it is empty and there is no issue
This is the best video on here i sure hope you have more are more coming because im so lost and so new and trying to start but i don't know were to start but my first question is what kind of videos would you make before joining the program you wouldn't start out promoting any products in video until your able to link to them so would you link make a niche channel but about what until you grow to the 10000 followers. Appreciate the kind words, more videos are definitely coming. With the method I showed in the video, you can actually start linking and promoting any products right from the start, even for a new accounts. So you can either go with either a general theme account or a niche account, just depends on what you want to do

You only need 1k followers now!
Appreciate the kind words! I'm glad to hear it's helpful. The good news is TikTok just lowered the followers requirement from 5,000 to 1,000. So it's much easier to reach that requirement. When you post a video on the Affiliates program, how do you connect the product? Do you just search for the product in the product marketplace?
Yes, go to Product Marketplace, search the product and click Add to Showcase. And then you can select that product right before you post your TikTok video
what about payments? How are they produced, what is the hold and is it possible to use many accounts for 1 person?
that's maybe the hard part
You get paid 15 days after the order is delivered. Can get sent to your bank account or Paypal. I am not entirely sure, but I think it's possible to have multiple account for 1 person

I was following this guide and got stuck at the 7 minute mark. After linking my accounts, when I go to click on the TikTok Shop icon, it just takes me to my seller account that I just linked. Im not sure if the process has changed after the time of you making this video, but I don't have the option to go to the product marketplace. Any work arounds or guide to accessing the product marketplace?

Welcome! After the product is added to the showcase, just go ahead to create a TikTok normally, you will have to option to link the product on the last page, right before you post

To open a TT shop with zero follower as you guided us, do we have to set our TT account to Business? And is business monetised at all? or I can have one or the other? shop/affiliated OR pay per view. ??
If you set up your affiliate account with less than 5k followers, it would be a business account. If you have an existing account with more than 5k followers, it could be either
Amazing video this helped me a ton. The only thing is Kalodata is not accurate for instance if it says that video revenue is 600k in sales its not accurate its way less. you calculate the commission example $6 per 200 sales. I hope they update this from sales vs commission revenue.

Hi Derek, I hope your day is going well. I have a quick question. # How do you get paid your commissions, Next where do you post your content video promoting the product? I see that In your Tutorial my shop store is connected to my TikTok app on my phone. Am I up loaded these Video's on my personal TikTok Profile?
I personally get paid by PayPal, so the commission gets paid to my PayPal account. I believe you can also get it direct deposited into your bank account.
Whichever TikTok account you have connected to the TikTok Shop account is where you will posts from. (it is the account that you have access to the Product Marketplace)

Yes my cell phone tiktok app is what I linked to my shopify store like you showed us in the video, and I do have access to the Market place. My phone app looks just like what you show in your Tutorial Video. I have never used my tiktok app or posted any video's so my product review will be the first. To be just an affiliate and not a seller do I still need to set up tax info in both tik tok shop AND the linked tik tok account or just the linked tik tok account?
If you already have 5k followers you can just directly set up your affiliate account without setting up the seller account.
If you have less than 5k followers, then you’ll need the seller account.
You will still need to provide your tax info eventually either way.
This is cool well explained. So when creating videos to showcase a product, if you are both camera shy and dont wont use ure own voice, can you use subtitles or voice over?
Yes you can, just make sure you show the actual product in the video and you’re good

Yes, once you found the product. This is the process: Add the product to your showcase. Once it’s added, you will have the option to add the product to your video right before you post. :)

Can you tell me what the Add to Showcase link means? Also if I order product from Amazon how do I receive the commission listed in Tik Tok shop? I'm new to this thank you.
No problem. When you’re in Product Marketplace, click the Add button on the product. It will be added to your Showcase where you can easily link it to your video when you post.
When you order from Amazon, you can most of the time get the product faster so you can create content on the product faster. In your TikTok video, you would still link the product from the TikTok Shop Seller. (If you do this, just make sure it is the same exact item from the same exact seller)
If you want a simpler process, you can just order the item from TikTok Shop.
Do you happen to have a link you could share for the TikTok shop sign up page? I am in the US and as of now every time I google "sign up for TikTok shop" just as you showed and click the first link it does not work! it keeps bringing me to a blank TikTok page no matter what link I find and click on google. So frustrating!!

Hello 👋 As i promised i would be back after following the tutorial. I am in the UK so the process was somehow shorter. I encountered a few problems but it was my fault, i didn’t have the document in hand and got a glitch when uploading. But all went through and the account was automatically linked to the seller shop (shorter process). I just don't understand if having a seller shop means i can also do affiliation? Or is this a different process??

I don’t know if you can help me, the shop icon never came up on my profile doing this. I have to shop but I can’t add any of the products. They all say product not available in your region. I’m in the US. I don’t know if it because I have a business account and not just a personal account but I can’t sell any of the products.
Is your business account linked to your personal TikTok account? I never had this issue before, but if they are linked correctly, you should have access to Product Marketplace
Wondering if you can help. I got stuck on minute 5:34. My phone scans the QRCode and starts to go to a page but does not open a page. I updated the tiktok app and restarted my phone. Do you happen to have any other ideas I could try? Thanks in advance for any advice you can offer.

No vpn...Unfortunately, it doesn't open any page. It just stays blank as if the internet was cut off. I have also cleared my cashe but since the regular camera does scan and open pages, I think it has something to do with tiktok or my number of followers maybe. I only have 16. @@DerekKumo

Thanks for a great video. I'm completely new to all of this, so I have a couple of questions. If you buy a product a want to make a post everyday, do you post the same video over again or do you make different videos about the same product? Also how many videos/days do you post about a product before you move on to a new product? + If you really want to make money and has no followers du you buy a lot of products or can you do TIkTok affiliate without buying lots of products (using money)?
I would not recommend posting the same video over again, even you created the content yourself from scratch. TikTok just doesn't like that, they want each piece of content to be unique. I would recommended making totally different videos about the same products.
The frequency of posts really depends on you personally. Some people get results posting multiple times a day, others get results posting just once per day, so I would just test different frequencies and see what works for you.
For someone new, I would start small with 1-2 products, once you have social proof of making good videos, you can approach sellers and many of them will be willing to send you free samples so you won't have to buy the products.

You can just set up a TikTok Shop and you’ll be able to do that
At 5:53 timestamp, perhaps I’m missing something, I am having trouble linking the accounts, I’m not seeing how to do the personal verification. How do I get there?
sometimes it takes a few minutes to show up, wait 10-15 minutes, if you don't see it, close and re-open the app and see if it's there

Also kalodata doesn't seem to work for me. it won't complete registration, and it says that all the products aren't available in my region or country. does it only work in the USA. Thanks
