They're all grown ups now. This performance will always be a classic. They nailed this song so well.
And these kids go to this school for FREE! This foundation provides them with this opportunity for free!
The girl singing is Kala Rose. She is now in her 20’s and is in a band called Saving Escape.
all of these kids nailed this performance but I am the most impressed with the kid on the drums. 46 & 2is a very difficult song to play on the drums and not only did he play all of the fills correctly but his meter and dynamics were spot on as well. very very well done. there are a lot of pro players out there that wouldn't have played this as well.
The young lady later sings “Sober” by Tool when see is grown as a teenager that is so good. Check it out! Enjoyed your reaction as always🙏🏼🌹💕
Kayla Rose Scarpinski was 11 at the time of this.
Right before Kala turned 18 she covered black label society crazy horse and it was epic 🖤
She also sings the pot by tool.
She has her own band now. Saving Escape.
My guy with the sleeveless plaid on the drums is the star of this one. lol
Yeah, the drummer is a stone cold killer!
Can’t pick an mvp.drums, vocals, little dude on the blocks! All stars!
The singer is Kayla Rose. She's currently the lead singer for the Band Saving Escape. You should look up the cover of Crazy Horse.
the kid on the wood blocks is my hero
Singer's name is Kala Rose and was 11 at the time of this recording. She went on to play in a band of her own called Saving Escape. Check out her cover of Black Label Society's "Crazy Horse". ua-cam.com/video/oYEXeW94z5A/v-deo.html
Definitely do Crazy Horse cover this singer Kala Rose is all grown and really brings it, you'll enjoy☝✌😊
Ooh, I second this! The guitarist in that video will blow your mind!
Their cover of Crazy Horse is better than the original.....absolutely killed it.
Agreed!!
Love Kala, but I prefer the other cover of "Crazy Horse" with vocals by Sunny R (also 11)

BISS!!! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you for reacting to these kids covering this song! I’ve been trying to get reactors to do this cover since I first saw it a couple of years ago. The O’Keefe Music Foundation does EPIC work teaching these kids about music…and they do it ALL from donations. The fact that this group of kids knock this song straight out of the park the way they do, speaks VOLUMES to the quality of instruction they’re getting from this Foundation. I can’t speak enough praise of the Foundation, or the kids learning there. From the bottom of my old and jaded heart…THANK YOU. ❤
That little kid with the wood blocks plays drums on the cover of Ozzy's "No More Tears." He has a moment there that is so good. Showing a lot of maturity.
NEVER STOP ROCKIN KIDS 🤘🤘🤘
"Throw the steeks!" :)
Haha Steeks!
😂
I think Curtis should have kicked the kit over and called for a new one. I think he emptied that set.
@@skygazer858that snare was curled up in the corner in the fetal position, his high hat was having an existential breakdown, and the bass was trying to dial 911 for the rest of the set. His sticks had to run outside to smoke a butt where the kids wouldn’t see them…like after a life-changing tumble in the sack. 😳🤷🏼♂️
I love that people are still reacting to this in 2024 😊😊
Thank you for giving these kids some love! What an amazing organization!
And, yes. The drummer is a beast. You can't go wrong with any O'Keefe video.
Yeah, that kid went crazy on this cover. To be as young as he was and be this talented, I would love to see what he's like now. It would be a shame if he stopped playing. He is a natural.
That was awesome. One of my favorite Tool covers.
I saw Tool and Godsmack live and the drums were beyond words.
I cried happy tears knowing you would shed happy tears ❤
Meytal Cohen did a great drum cover of 46&2 outdoors in the mountains. Worth a look.
You need to see them cover Tool's Sober and Dream Theater's Pull Me Down.
*Pull me UNDER
OLD video and STILL makes me have Faith, IN REAL Talent.....for the future of music. (Talent)
I’ve been watching this for 5+ years now. That drummer is a beast!! The bass player is awesome. The fact that this song is about the next phase of human evolution is apropos. 46 genes + 2.
" 8 Year old Crushes Freak on a Leash" is another one of their best performances...with different kids!!!!!!
Another good one to watch from another music school is "School of Rock Students perform Schism by Tool", that's pretty awesome.
O'keefe also do an amazing version of New Noise, look for V2 at the prom.
That drummer is amazing! I have seen this before
I have watched this video for many years and still comment on it. AMAZING players and the singer has gone on to become an amazing singer still...
Biscute!!! You made my day!
What a great reaction.
Happy belated birthday!!!
This kids are amazing, all of them, glad you enjoyed it, please watch more kids covers, from O'keefe Music Foundation, it's a goldmine of talents
Their Ozzy cover of "No More Tears" is fantastic as well. And the singer is 11 years old here I believe.
This drummer kid is wow
It's so gratifying to see this great music being passed along through so many generations. Brava!
Wow I legit got tears in my eyes from how great this was
Great choice and great reaction Biss👍
Fantastic, i've been waiting for you to find this.
I am a huge Tool fan. These kids killed it❤❤
Thanks for showing this Biss, had no idea it existed, that was bloody amazing! Have you reacted to Eulogy yet? My fav Tool song ever.
I love this video every time I watch it even more.
All these kids are fantastic. The drummer is a monster. The bassist is thunder. Her vocals are angelic. You should hear the cover of,"Pull Me Under". Her vocals are 100 times better than, Dream Theater. ✌️❤️🌹
These kids are great!
The drummer is Curtis Moss and I think he was 15 or 16 at the time this was recorded. And yes, he beat the p00p out those drums.
I already love your movie channel, now you're my favorite music reactor. I have suggested this track to so many reactors for years and finally someone gives these kids some play. These ones and kids like them are the future of music, I guess most reactors are too busy catering to patrons. Money is not everything 😊
Very good 👍
My O'Keefe holy trinity is this one, Cosmic Love, and Pull Me Under. 3 songs where I like the cover more than the original. Great reaction Biss, you always brighten our days.
Have you seen the cover of Crazy Horse with Kala Rose?
@@lauraclark427 Holy Cow! That was crazy! Not sure how that escaped me all these years. Thank you for pointing that one out for me. It was so heavy and her vocals were amazing.
There is a video of the drummer from tool plays tool song with two young girls at a gathering. It's good also.
One of my favorite covers❤
Oh you have to search their library!! These kids are amazing and do some unbelievable covers! Super talented all fo them!
I do agree that this is my favorite Tool song and this is one impressive cover. All the kids look like they are having a great time and it shows. Great reaction Biss!! ❤🔥👏👏
These O'Keefe kids and especially the young lady singer have done many many great reactions. They have done a ton of great covers through the tears with a bunch of different kids in groupings.
These kids are talented. Happy to see rock still has huge influence on the youth. Please check out The Warning. You reacted to their song Choke before. They released a new single Automatic Sun and its a banger! 🤟🏽⚡️🔥
oh yeah, this guys are awesome! you got to see the slipknot, danzig, and tool covers, all of them are masterpieces! ant also wish, from nine inch nails, that video is hilarious xD
More reactors need to react to this... Love it..
This gives me chills every time I watch this cover. O'Keefe Music Foundation has awesome covers by extremely talented/hard working kids.
Be sure to check out their Slipknot covers.
I didn’t know Bubba Ray Dudley played drums when he was younger.
Rock on, Biss! 🤘😎👍
The kids can definitely Spiral Out...
the singers last song they recorded before she graduated out of the program is Crazyhorse by Black Label Society, Zach Wild. it's an interesting switch from this, lol.
O'keefe also does Sober by Tool and several different versions of the Pot by Tool. Biss you should check all of them out, you'll love them
Goose Bumps all over your body. Bisscute, intrrriguing.
Okeefe foundation , kinda like a school of rock. Btw, you rock, keep up good work!
Great reaction! Love your appreciation of the music! BTW, Your spirit animal is Jester from Critical Role.🥰
😊❤❤😊 Very 👍.
This is awesome too army
This was my daddy daughter dance
And to think Tool does all this one bass, one guitar, drums and Maynard! LOL
This is NOT an easy song! BUT these youngins are doing a great job! Maynard would approve! Thanks girl....

FINALLY!!! You MUST delve deeper into O’Keefe. “Sober”, “You Could Be Mine” and many others are worth a watch 👏
Hello bis, I recommend that you react to Iris's cover of sleeping with de sirens, it is a very nice song and I would like to see you react to it. I love your videos.!
I'm glad you finally got to this one. Every time I watch these kids in this video, it brings tears to my eyes. The thought of them playing such an incredible cover makes me beam with pride for them. I actually love this version more than the original. But dont get me wrong, Tool (the band) are geniuses and super incredible musicians.
After this, I stopped listening to the original because it rocks so hard and makes me smile so hard. Love it!!!
These are all gifted kids, and being gifted they understand that this is not an overnight game. It's practice, practice, practice. Take home and practice some more. Then come together pick out the flaws then lay it down. Most people can't and will not put in that kind of effort. Applaud.
Pretty good example of covering Danny Carey.
Though this is not my type of music. These kids are doing a great job with it. Very talented.
Девочка, подающая надежды! И музыканты молодцы! Браво! И кажется, Biss одела свой подарок?! Красивый.❤
I love your reactions… I have gone back to rewatch your Love Wins All reaction at least a dozen times now.
Your honesty and sincerity comes through…
Do you remember about goose bumps?
In pre-historic humans the hair would stand up as a social sign, fear, pleasure, etc.
So if you went back in time and some guy asked you dance - and your hairs are standing up - you would have to dance!
or it means that the guy gives you the creeps and you should run
Yes very good point.@@stefanforrer2573
@@stefanforrer2573 Yes, I did not see it that way.
band aid do they know it's christmas(2014)... its amazing❤😢...
Just recently discovered this group - love their stuff! Their covers of Du Hast and More Human Than Human are just incredible! Their cover of NIN's Wish is also really good.
You could/should do a full stream of just what you find down the O'Keefe rabbit hole. Peace/JT
Kayla is now singing for Saving Escape, the drummer is Curtis Moss, who was recently in another band with O'Keefe graduates called BackHand Blue, Macy Addis sings for them and she is great as well
The drummer gives it and the lead singer shes badd ass
Biss, check out "Ellen Plays Bass", most of her videos are from when she was 11 years old, now she's 12 and plays drums too.
Nice! Very cute!
I don't remember, but may have mentioned this to you before, but if you're interested in another charity like group, there's a channel here called Playing For Change. Among other things, one cool thing they do is they take famous songs, and make a video of that song being performed by various different artists from different countries all over the world, that they travel to record, as well as sometimes they are able to get some actual stars to participate, especially if it's someone from the original artists that created the song. They're pretty awesome. I know for you it's a little different because you may not already know the songs, but it's worth checking out. One of my favorites that they do, which was probably the first one I saw, was of them doing "The Weight", which is a great song from The Band. "The Band", is the actual name of a rock band from the 60s and 70s that were, well, a really good band. One of the things that makes that one special is that one of the producers from the Playing For Change organization that made that video, is the son of Robbie Robertson from The Band, who wrote that song, and is also in the video. There's also a great live version of that song that people like to react to, of The Band performing it along with another singing group called The Staples, which you might want to check out first, or instead.
Kayla Rose is in her early 20's now and fronts a band called Saving Escape. Look them up on UA-cam. She does a wild performance of Crazy Horse.
pretty sure her name is kala, not kayla..
I wish she would come back to this and do it with her more developed voice. Even Sober she wasn't where she is now.
She was decent in this... but they could have used many different kids for the vocals (or the piano, the sticks, the bongos, etc). The real needs for this recital were a decent guitarist... a phenomenal bassist... and a child prodigy level drummer. I'm far more interested in where the drummer and bassist ended up!
I agree but too disinterested to look them up though I wish them well and success.
The front man or woman always seems to get the most attention fairly or not. I think it has to do with leading the higher register and they're the main melodic vocal.
@@stefanforrer2573yeap it's kala.
❤❤❤
Kayla Rose is about 11 here, I think.
pretty sure it's kala, not kayla..
@@stefanforrer2573 You`re right.
Happy birthday
Love your reactions. O'Keefe Music Foundation is an awesome place where young people can learn, practice and record with other like minded kids. The foundation works from donations and benefactors and has professional recording studios and visuals. You need to check out the heavy metal kids playing Pantera, Slayer, Megadeth, G & R and also Ozzy Osbourne. Hundreds of videos are available. I have one suggestion is you need to play your music volume at a much higher level.
All these kids are awesome, Kala the singer is about 20 something now and has her own band called Saving Escape. The drummer and bassist kill it.
Their Du Hast cover video is a shredder. Also, a small girl plays the "old rusty oil drum." It was filmed during the heart of covid, so their biohard suits is so cool.
Want to see your reaction to Coke Studio Bangla.
Throw the sticks! 😆 🤣 😂 😅😊
I love bisscute❤
Kids are awesome ❤🎉🎉🎉🎉
