Excellent explanation brother
Great explanation of the strategy, IK. Can you explain whether or not in your scenario availability check was activated? When you created an order with a strategy 40 material, did it confirm the requested delivery date as the delivery date in the order fell within period of the forecasted PIRs and planned order?
Yes, the standard availability check 02 is active in the material master.
@SAPwithIK okay, so I'm assuming there was stock available for the material in your order if it confirmed the delivery date. In my testing as there's no stock yet from the Planned independent requirement planned order, the order doesn't confirm the delivery dates. I was wondering if this is standard behaviour due to the checking group and checking rule assigned to strategy 40 materials
@jaygavinb availability check is not assigned to the strategy group but it is assigned in the material master. Pls check the availability check assigned in the material master
Please Make videos on capacity planning
Please do!!
Hello Sir!
Great Video. Can you just explain all important planning strategies in one single video in brief? That will be a lot of help.
Sure will do
I have one question in material master we have maintained MRP type as no planning and statergy group as maintained as 40, is MRP will execute ? And create a PR with reference of sale order
No, it won’t. The material will not have an entry in the planning file.
Great video, I have a question here, still I am in confusion with availability check how it is working in Pp and sd, any video please
Superb explanation, thank you....plz upload more such videos
Once the planned order is converted and GR done stock will get added to the SALES order? in Strategy 40 ? or it will added to unrestricted?
It goes to unrestricted stock
Hi, What should be the strategy Group no. for the components & Raw materials if the FG is say 40 or 50 ? Same number for all its children ?
Hello, planning strategy is not required at component level.
@@SAPwithIK so how Components/ Assemblies (Not raw material, which could be reorder point planning ?) are planned without any strategy ? So Strategy group needed only for FGs, not SFGs ? Can you pls clarify ? Thanks.
Thank you Sir .
Please do more videos please
Thanks for the information
Explanation and demo in 15mins, Really impressive. Maybe you could have said about reduction which happens in strategy 40 also if you tell in short about what will happen if the
Sale order qty is more than the entered PIR it's complete demo about the strategy in short and sweet. Thank you
Thanks for the feedback.
Good video.finally i clear dout of strategy 40 ..please sir make one video on strategy 11 🙏
Sir, great video, I have some queries.... when MRP was run, after creating PIR of 3k & 4k pcs. The dates for both plorder came as 8.12.2021. Could you please share the background of it. Also share about the requirement class, And what is VSF, LSF (what formula does they have in background running)
Please watch other videos from the playlist. This has been discussed in detail.
Hi, How to reschedule the Pl Order based on Rescheduling Date (Exception Group) ? Is it manual change inside Pl Order ? Why MRP did not put correct date in the first place ? Thanks in advance.
MRP cannot adjust the dates by itself but notifies the planner with exception messages which should be manually updated in the planned/production order.
@@SAPwithIK Thank you.
Do you conduct any training on SAP PP
thankyou sir🙏
Hello Sir,
Thankyou for this video.
Please let me know what will happen if the sale order requirement quantity is more than the PIR for the particular month
MRP generates planned order with the quantity of sales order. Also the PIR will be consumed by the sales order.
@@SAPwithIK Thank you
Hi Sir,Pls can you explain the difference between make to stock and planning with final assembly
