I've backed quite a few OB projects, the quality is good, I haven't really had any complaints build wise. They do have a tendency of underestimating lead time. I think I may look into thin nylon washers and see if that takes care of the "rattle".

If they are out here trying to make moves then they need to keep their Kracken / call of Cthulhu knife whatever quality they said it should be regarding parts claimed to use. I was a KickStarter supporter as well because it looked interesting. Frankly, this knife is exactly as you describe - a desk trophy and NOT a functional tool knife or EDC knife. This thing is literally dangerous to keep in your pocket and the magnets are a poor mechanism to keep it secure in either position. I also had to kink the washers of mine as everything was incredibly loose when I received it. Frankly, almost any good-looking lock-back knife that uses a replaceable utility blade would be better for everyday use by far.
