Just got into goat format after leaving the game for awhile,
and after going through all 90 pages of the cardpool i arrived at this deck over chaos and burn.
Cool to see somone else thinks this way too
Im testing a different strategy that relies on traps 2 mirror wall mirror force and magic cylinder and 2 solemns to control the board
And im playing a swarm strategy
3 nimble momonga 3 germ 3 grizzly 1 serpent and revival jam for its awesome special summom effect. The idea is to always have tributes while burning through my deck.
    Beaters
2 mobius 3 levia 2 of the one that attacks directly, mermaid and abyss
    Spells
    Trinity
    2 level b
    Heavy
Theres a few more but thats the basic build

This is the most interesting water build I've ever seen in Goat format.
I was really happy when I saw the 2 Yomi Ship, since they are quite underrated even in water decks, but no one sees it coming when you crash Grizzly into them just to crash Yomi Ship into them again. Gets rid of big problematic monsters and stops the floating of recruiter decks in a similar fashion to D.D. Warrior Lady or Newdoria.
Your build has 13 different cards/ratios from mine and I want to try this version as a side deck option, maybe with 1 or 2 Creature Swap.

@@phantomsygo Hi, I'm back and totally forgot about this comment.
I played quite a lot with this build and it performs pretty decently, even against the stronger goat decks. It seems to do better than the more beatdownish builds. While I believe that Creature Swap shines the most in Zombies and Chaos Recruiter decks, it combos really well with Abyss Soldier and Sinister Serpent and creates more variety for your metamorphosis plays or you can swap out your goat tokens with a monster and so on.
Aqua Spirit is also annoying as shit for a lot of opponents and is always such a surprise since most don't expect it lol
I also tried some variations with 2 copies of book of moon, but they weren't as good as I thought they would be and they don't do too much in this build besides the defensive uses and the Thousand-Eyes recycle combo (in the best case though).
So yeah, it's pretty much good the way it is

this might be the better pure water deck have seen in youtube. I would recomend to play exiled force instead of breaker or mof, but really nice deck profile men. Im not why people play nightmare penguin

Water control is one of my pet decks. My version runs fenrir over the water spirit and the mask of darkness time seal lock with a suite of traps. I don't think my version is the best and the time seal lock is a little cute but I like it. Fenrir denying a draw or two is good advantage. This version is a little strange to me because it seems like it wants to do too many things at once, trying to be water gate and water control at the same time. Do you ever feel like this deck lacks consistency? I also feel like creature swap would be a great card in this deck, it can be advantage with grizzlies and you run scapegoat, plus in some situations you can steal a flip or get a tributable monster or both. I'll definitely test it tho, since I like both water control and water gate as cool niche decks. One of my other pet decks is vanilla beatdown, which has a legendary ocean version that is really interesting and can put a lot of atk on the field quick because of the level reduction, have you tried it?

Looks super interesting! I would personally swap mof with a creature swap as I wouldn't want to hit mof with gate and creature swap can be game winning and with the insane amount of back row removal here you wouldn't have to worry about surprise calls or goats

Yea creature swap could be solid

What about lekunga or maybe nightmare penguin? Lekunga can leave token which can be special summoned, and sometimes yomi ship is kinda slow, and everything can clean it up and sometimes can help your opponent too, because you can help him too if he play some chaos deck and you send monster to grave by the effect of yomi ship and help him, but if he destroys your lekunga which is pretty high attack monster you can have token from it than use it for mobius or daedalus which is free win in my opinion, but list that you play is also good.
