There’s a 10 hour video of Patrick staring at the door after saying “Open Sesame” with the snowfall looping and lofi in the background 😂
I watched over an hour of that video 😂
I used that video for focus back in the day...Which was a few years ago.
Also one of Squidward singing “4 ply” on the Boys who cry episode 😂

Link!?
Fun fact: In 'No Free Rides', If you look closely, you can see that SpongeBob's essay read "What I learned in boating school is how to drive."
Which is a lie
@@BluStreak 😂
@@BluStreakTechnically it's the truth. He said in the episode where Patrick guides him through the radio, "I know all the answers...until I get behind the wheel!"
He's also perfect at the oral exam. SpongeBob is ironically an expert at every angle, his problem is just the nerves.
He even figured out that not being able to see what he was doing was the solution, and also being able to "relax, be cool" which solved his main problem. (Although that one kinda spiraled outta control lmao)
So now you’ve learned, in the ocean: Worms are dogs, Snails are cats, and clams are birds.
@@LXW-ArtsI used to do that with my brother with Tom and Jerry
Clams are Fish or Birds. Nematodes are Termites. Jellyfish are Butterflies or Hornets. Neptune is God. Neptune's son Triton is Jesus. The Flying Dutchman is The Devil. Atlantis is Heaven. Davie Jones' Locker is Hell.
And jellyfish are technically bees. They buzz, sting, and make jelly like bees make honey.
Fishes are the people
Scallops don't look like they're swimming so much as flying. Tbh they're actually pretty mobile.
Fun fact: in one of the newer episodes, SpongeBob gets Gary a translator belt so they can communicate and Gary refers to SpongeBob as PapaBob. Gary is also voiced by Keith David.
5:12 the most iconic Patrick quote “ Who you calling pinhead? “ 🤣 still gets me
there’s so many idk
The life of Texas man 😂
Fun Fact: In a way later episode from season 12(?), when Spongebob is trying to cleanout Mrs. Puff’s boating school, a newspaper can be seen referencing Puff as a “getaway boating teacher, even stating that she used balloon animals as distractions.
Spongebob's creator has confirmed that SpongeBob and his friends are not mutated. And Bikini Atoll is no longer a nuclear testing site. It's been habitable again for 20 years, but the original population and their descents have chosen to stay where they've settled in the US and Marshall Islands. Understandable, considering that of the 167 islanders relocated for nuclear testing, only like 45 are still alive, and their 5,800 descendants have never lived on Bikini Atoll and would have to do without most of the creature comforts they've grown up with. Only 4-6 caretakers live on the island, though scientists visit regularly to keep tabs on the radiation, or lack thereof, now.
Source for this? Because last time I checked, Bikini Atoll is still very much uninhabitable even after nearly 80 years. There were over 20 nuclear tests and there is still a lot of residual radioactivity.
Wasnt't there literally en episode in later seaons that confirmde the theory though? I don't recall the name of it nbut it also confirmed Sandy was involved in the plan and was researching the effects of the tests on the Bikini Bottom citizens. And she saw her friends turn back into like normal animal versions of themselves. She was also working with the french narrator in that episode.
@@demonslayer5122 Terry Hamilton, scientific director of Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory's Marshall Islands Dose Assessment and Radioecology Program. They released a statement in 2012 saying that the levels of radioactive isotopes have been within safe margins for humans for 10 years, and that was 11 years ago.
Yup the best theory I heard was that the reason why fishes in Bikini bottom are the way they are is because of Ne[times ,moon.
@@GalaxiaStars That's Neptune's moon likely named after its creator. Also the prehistoric episodes contradict this theory.
I always enjoy the anchovies saying “Wha wha whaaaaa” every time Kevin gets stung by jellyfish. It never ceases to make me laugh.😄
@@MattTOB618 Wha wha whaaaaaaaa *INTENSIFIES*
WILL YOU CUT THAT OUT
Sandy ripping off Patrick's head will never not make me burst out laughing
5:33 😂
which one of you fellers is the real dirty dan? 😠
It suddenly becoming spring in Survival of the Idiots is a funny joke as it is, but then you realize it’s because SpongeBob and Patrick were unconscious for most of the winter after Sandy’s second attack and it gets even better.
Damn, that was one hell of a whoop'n.
I love how you guys called the Plot for No Free Rides without even trying.
Also I always hear that Dirty Dan might've been a reference to Dan Schneider but don't quote me on that.
One thing that still makes me laugh about Survival Of The Idiots is that out of all the animals that hibernate, squirrels aren't one of them.
Ground squirrels do
“Survival of the Idiots” is a classic S2 episode, one of my favorites! Everything from SpongeBob and Patrick tangling with a hulk-sized Sandy to Patrick saying “who you calling Pinhead” is nothing short of entertainment.
Funny thing is that apparently when the episode first aired, it split people apart a bit. Half loved it, the other hated it because according to them, Sandy was acting "Out of character" and being overly violent
@@Misto_deVito6009 That is rather odd. I mean, Sandy was resting peacefully until SpongeBob and Patrick came along and disturbed her after ignoring her disclaimer message. So naturally, she retaliated as if she was angry that her slumber was disturbed, like a hibernating bear. I personally don’t see how that makes Sandy “out of character” and overly violent.
@SpacialRend7 Exactly! Plus she was asleep so its not like she knew what she was doing
I wonder if Pinhead Larry and Dirty Dan were actual people Sandy knew in Texas? Maybe some crooks she dealt with.
Poor SpongeBob, still can’t get his driver’s license. Which reminds me, I recently became a licensed driver; one of my finest achievements in life!
Congratulations!!🎉🎉🎉🎉
@@pasteldia4419 Thank you!😄
I had also recently gotten my driver's license. Definitely felt like an accomplishment after getting over my fear of driving.
@@TronicSpeed Congrats to you!
The joke with the animal balloon is that it seemed like she initially meant hot wiring a car. Love the misdirection humor in SpongeBob
Just like when one of the officers says "hey look". Because he noticed a stain on the window before he saw a car launching towards them.
21:52 - It's not that it would've "looked ridiculous", it's because eight legs would be way too difficult for them to animate, moreso than six, and that's understandable.
(It's the same reason Angel Dust from Hazbin Hotel has only 6 limbs despite being a spider.)
And Hank from Finding Dory. The animators had a hard time rendering him with 8 tentacles so they gave him 7.
Fun fact: hibernation isn't sleep, it's a state of suspended animation.
5:11 "who you calling pinhead?"
That never stops being so freaking funny to me, like the animators had no right to make him look like that and yet they did! I swear, the comedy in the first seasons are just freaking gold 😂
I remember being so scared of Sandy screaming that I always changed the channel, props to Carolyn Lawerence's voice acting for that scream
Love the paused frame of Patrick charging up a rasengan. Smear frames are awesome!
Ruff almost spitting his drink out at the Pinhead line is golden
15:47 wow, Boom literally predicted the entire premise of the exact episode right as they started watching it.
This show gaslit me into thinking that jellyfish stings felt like electricity. Then I actually got stung by a jellyfish and was extremely disappointed.
Getting older is realizing that Larry wasn't an asshole. He just smelled the presence of another snail in the house and got territorial
7:47 Fun fact: Patrick’s fur-filled pants are referenced in the _SpongeBob_ Monopoly, where one of the Chance cards says you get $150 for inventing them.
I love how Kevin keeps getting stung by so many jellyfish. The wha wha whaaaaaa cracked me up every time. That's karma for him for trying to sting Spongebob
🪼🪼🪼🤣🤣🤣
You guys seriously gotta react to some of the SpongeBob lore theories once you guys are done with the show. They are honestly super entertaining and a lot of them make a ton of sense and explain a lot of things
)
@@natzhutson153beautiful words
Fun fact about hibernation: animals usually don’t stay fully asleep the entire time, they wake up several times
"Who You calling Pin Head?" Iconic line!
Also the first 3 seasons are considered to be the best and classic!
5:11
Survival of the Idiots will always be one of my favorite pre-movie episodes of Spongebob. The humor hits just right, especially the infamous "Who you callin' Pinhead?"
No Free Rides is also an amazing episode, and it's always interesting to see little bits and pieces of the Mrs. Puff lore throughout the series.
"My man about to hit SpongeBob with the Buddhist Palm"
"Yo, Papa SpongeBob tryna HIT?" 😂 Boom you always crack me up man
I was not expecting that hiss from Larry. That was the most demonic hiss I have ever heard. If a real cat hissed at me like that I would be terrified and I love cats😂
I bet everyone thought it sounded wrong when Patrick said “ wait Jeffery I have to touch you “ 😂😂😂
I want you guys to watch Alex Bale's Spongebob theories, but the theories cover almost every season of Spongebob so it's gonna be a long while before you guys would react to them without being spoiled with some things.
@@andykishore Um, I don't think my original comment came off as demanding them to watch the Spongebob Conspiracy theories by Alex Bale. I said that the theories cover later seasons so they can't watch it without being spoiled. I like these guys and I want them to enjoy the shows they are watching without being spoiled. These are the kind of reactors that I like to watch.
It's always funny to see which joke will make one of them the happiest.
Last year in University i did the exact "open sesame" at the elevator and as soon as i said that the elevator opened and my UNI mates died laughing.
The Mrs. Puff Balloon animal gag is just a bait and switch joke. Those are pretty common in SpongeBob.
26:22 If I remember correctly in another episode you can see a police file about Mrs. Puff and one of things that it says is that she used to lure her victims with balloon animals
One of the best things about marathoning spongebob is I’ve seen so many of these memes so many times but now I get to see the episodes they come from. They’re honestly just as funny with context as without. 😂
25:53 I’m sorry but even when things are rough nothing will ever make me want to go to jail. Nobody should ever wish to go to jail.
22:19 - Choosing to remain in denial I see...
Actually y'know, now that I remember, there is a female background character, one of Pearl's friends I think (you've probably seen her a few times already) who is an *actual* squid. She wears a red-plaid skirt & has a squid-shaped body with a pointy triangular head, very much the opposite of Squidward's head which is bulbous and round like an octopus.
But she also has six legs, probably for the same reasons as Squidward.
(Just look it up if you don't believe me Ruff.)
16:42 I still can't believe driving through a wall earned 230 points
20:11 Omg it's an inception picture too
17:37 As a kid I remember realizing that the 3 blanks could easily be filled in with "how to drive". Which made the scene funnier.
There’s an amazing 30 minute video by Alex Bale going into the Mrs.Puff conspiracy. It does include some spoilers for later episodes, but I mean, it’s SpongeBob, you can’t really have it spoiled. I would absolutely love to see y’all do a group reaction to it!!
The theory that his parents are rich also explains why he lives alone in a big house with a pet on a literal negative salary at the Krusty Krab. He can chase his passions with no financial burden.
I was actually told that there was a theory going on that not just SpongeBob parents but Squidward's mom and Patrick parents too are all rich parents who each kicked their kids out as soon as they were grown up and all three of them had their rich parents buy houses for them which explains why SpongeBob and Squidward are surviving on negative wage salaries at the Krusty Krab and how Patrick is surviving financially as well but with no job and are all living alone minus SpongeBob because of Gary. And explains why none of them ever worry about financial burdens.
It's a bio dome that has it's own weather device to simulate different seasons for sandy
5:31 this part had me gasping for air the first time I saw it 🤣😭
If you cant drive a car for the test, you can't drive the car on the road. Sometimes there is stress, pressure or unexpected shit happening, can't have people with fragile minds driving and endangering others.
Let’s be real if we cared about fragile minds driving and endangering others we’d have laws in place for people to retake drivers tests after a set amount of years once people get older
My grandmother was a perfect example of someone who should not have been driving but it took my aunt taking away her keys
Without that she would have been a danger on the road but legally no issues with her retaining her license
Although his name has the word "squid" in it and he has only six tentacles, Squidward is an anthropomorphic octopus. He lives in a moai between SpongeBob SquarePants' and Patrick Star's houses.
Great video! That was a perfect pause when Patrick was making a snowball.😂
Later in the series there's a newspaper that has Mrs. Puff's picture on it (the one in the news report from this episode) saying something along the lines of a boating school instructor turned robber who distracts cops with balloon animals caught. Its on a newspaper just in the background of a random episode but its pretty amazing.
Mrs. Puff has so much insane lore lol
As a fellow Gary I can one hundred percent attest to the fact that Gary's are one hundred percent more loyal and caring than Larry's, it's just the natural order of things.
Just to give you an idea of all the feral fauna and what they all represent:
Snails=cats
Worms=dogs
Scallops=birds
Jellyfish=bees (or flying insects)
Urchins=crawling insects
Seahorses=horses
It stinks they cut out the part where Patrick wants to touch everything and the policeman keeps following him. I absolutely love that part so much!!
What?! Are you serious? Why do they keep cutting out the funny joke?!
"T O U C H ."
"Do I have to follow you all day!?"
I honestly never realized how much I watched this show as a kid. So far I’ve remembered every episode and it’s such a nostalgic trip flashing back to when I first saw these and the utter memes that live in the recesses of my mind.
So far I’ve been able to quote something from every episode.😂
When Mrs. Puff said "I hope I still remember how to do this." she was talking about making balloon animals not hot-wiring a boat that's the joke lol
8:27 "You go to hibernate, and your best friends wax your whole body while you're not even aware and wear your body hair as a jacket."
Then you forcefully tie your best friends' bodies around your head and waist, probably breaking every bone that might have been in their bodies and tying their legs up in a knot, and go on living life like nothing happened.
This is why animation exists and why we should laugh at such outlandish things because the thought of doing this in real life is all the more disturbing.
As a kid I noticed this but there’s a photo framed on Mrs. Puff’s wall of her the exact scene of her opening her door and inside the photo is a photo of that as well. It’s an infinite photo of that scene 😂
interesting thing: the entire reason for boating school was because Nick execs wanted Spongebob to be more like a kid and deal with school stuff so they figured the workaround to keep Spongebob more as an adult
I think the Educational Television part is hilarious.
28:52 When Kevin kicked the net there were in fact 20 jellyfish.
Assuming that Mrs. Puff has had that happen before, that would mean she's probably just a bad teacher and it wasn't SpongeBob's fault he sucked at driving.
Regardless of the hilarity this episode is one of the best ANIMATED spongebob episodes ever
0:49: Oh, this the Dirty Dan episode? XD
6:01 all kidding aside, I applaud SpongeBob’s ill-fated attempt to take a stand… it was never going to end well, but points for bravery 😂
This is when SpongeBob starts going into its peak imo, so many iconic lines and funny memes in season 2 & 3
Just discovered your channel I like it, Spongebob season 1-4 is epic, my most fav from these ones was Mrs Puff's extra credit episode, her sayin "not again" really has you thinking of her back story XD. Btw its best to avoid wild animals no matter how much you love them during hibernations, like the Grizzly Man incident in 2003.
Larry's probably with Squidward at the moment, both hissing at SpongeBob whenever he walks past his house
These are some of the best episodes, theres also a theory that Ms puff is a criminal and she disguises as a boating teacher, when she sayd “Ill have to move to a new town & start a new boating school under a new name…. No not again” is why people believe its true 😂
There is a news paper in a episode reviling her past and a theory that puts it all together
On the topic of the hyper-realistic close-ups: I believe Mr. Lawrence (writer, and voice of Plankton, "my leg" guy, Larry, and others) as well as some others working on Spongebob when it came out, used to work on Ren & Stimpy and Rocko's Modern Life before Spongebob! So I think some of the same humor/jokes translated over, which included the hyper-realistic close-up gags! I believe Spogebob was (and still is?) a storyboard-driven show, so instead of writing out a script, a lot of the gags are drawn out first (following a loose plot line, I'm guessing) which leads to a lot of great visual gags!
Anyways, been enjoying your reactions to these early episodes, I always love seeing people enjoy iconic things for the first time! I hope you guys get to the movie eventually, that's one of my absolute favorites, haha
“I’m Dirty Dan!”
rrrr U kidding me? Im DIRTY DEN!
There's something about the way SpongeBob gasps that always gets me
It would crazy to have dreams when asleep as long as hibernation, too bad hibernation is not actually sleeping
20:09 Thank goodness, I thought I was the only one who noticed the picture
"Imagine what dreams must happen in hibernation sleep."
No thanks, just last night i had a dream that went on for a legit 2 weeks. And even in the dream, I just wanted it to END.
Bro I'm still on the fact that king jellyfish knows Kevin and it was an on sight beef too 😂
Mrs Puff passing SpongeBob because she just wants the problem gone is the equivalent of No Child Left Behind...
Survival of the idiots his a very good episode and we get the great line of "who you calling pin head"
22:49 somebody needs to make drama series about the many identities of Mrs. Puff! Who’s up for it?!
15:40 lol they described the episode before it even happened 😂
Dumped always makes me cry. It just does.
So does Nature Pants
There are three characters Squidward, Squilliam and later on into the show Squilvia. All names translate to Edward, William and Silvia. Roger Bumpass said [I guess] "Octoward just didn't work" so it was more so a joke than a fact. Also Stephen Hillenburg himself has stated Squidward's and octopus
29:24 Kevin getting stung kills me laughter
So about that bikini bottom nuclear theory, the fact that there are prehistoric eras like the episode where squidward goes to the past and meets caveman spongebob and patrick shows that the fish in Bikini Bottom have been more evolved than regular fish since way before the nuclear teasting started so that theory doesn't really hold up
There is this one youtuber, "The Theorizer", who has a bunch of theories on various cartoons, one being Spongebob- you NEED to go down the Mrs Puff rabbit hole, it is INSANE
Grown people unironically watching kids shows is our future
yea grown people have finally learned life doesn't have to be too serious and you can do fun things for a living
Patrick had a cookie in his pocket for 3 days
I feel kinda betrayed when they cut off Patrick saying, “ Uh….I am?”
23:40 Quite the view there SpongeBob. 😂
1:50 huh, i didn't know that... So the nuke they usually show is from Bikini atoll
I got robbed by a squirrel once. I was living in North Dakota and we had a REALLY bad winter, we're talking frequent snowstorms measured in feet, not inches of snow, a 3 month period where it never rose above -30F, it was bad. There was a fox squirrel that I think was someone's escaped pet because...well he'd do backflips randomly. Pretty sure wild animals don't usually do that. I had a pair of dwarf plumbs someone gave me and I ate one and was really looking forward to the second one when the little bastard ran up to me, standing a foot from my leg and just...stared...right into my soul. I didn't want to give it to him but I could practically hear him saying, 'dude, its been a bad winter...who needs it more?' I reached down and handed it to him, he stuffed it in his cheek and ran off after having robbed me at guilt point.
Fun fact in the game Battle For Bikini Bottom we learn Mrs Puff use to be an art thief!
The first time I saw the pinhead face I laughed so hard and so long I couldn't breathe
“Must be why we have a bunch of alive animals “
Contrary to popular belief, most animals living in the world are actually alive. 😂
20:24 That pause frame >.>
32:58 trust me it is best you do not know the dark secrets of Patrick
31:17 KEVIN!!! 😂
