- Another live session from Yuchen. Sunset Rollercoaster did two songs on this day and I will always consider this to be one of my favorite days at Yuchen. This is what I dreamed of doing when building the place. Getting good players together and putting it down live feels the best.

@@philtatos9859 They probably don't plan on getting big neither. They're from Taiwan, singing in English, about obscure topics like JInji. Which derives from an old brazilian bossa nova track that had the word jinji in it. Which was slang for baby.

The word “Jinji” itself came from the 60’s bossa nova artist named Antonio Carlos Jobim, and he wrote a song called “Dindi”. But during the 70’s, there’s a soul singer called Jon Lucien who cover the song but changed the pronounce to “Jinji”. I think from the whole context, this word “Jinji” means “Baby”. So, “My Jinji” means “My Baby”. - Tseng Kuo Hung.

Sometimes simplicity is key , and sunset rollercoaster has done with perfect precision . The drums are very slow paced and with vibrant feel . The guitar is harmonizing with the synth and complimenting the unqiue vocals very well . The vocals are very mellow and they give you a very nostalgic feel which feels aesthetic . They really gave the bass space to show off and that fit in well into the chemistry of the song which is a heavy nostalgic vibe . The instrumental outro of the song is very catchy , not too repetitive . Makes you feel like you're watching a sunset as the final minutes of an epic saga comes to an end .

@@eneillaj Yeah they've been on a good trajectory ever since Cassa Nova and aren't showing signs of slowing.
Unfortunately, speaking on my California experience the USA Fans, most of their fans only go to there shows to listen to Jinji and then then show disinterest for the rest of the set lol. As bands get bigger, the fans become broader and less interested. Their older lives shows from 2018 were amazing to see in the more intimate settings as well, made me a fan of them. Hoping their fans elsewhere give them the love they deserve.

Just saw this band live, amazing!!! They played this song last and everyone was so excited! The set got cut toward the end but we all kept singing bc everyone knew the tune of the guitar solo at the end! It was great to see a crowd so in love w their music, I can't wait to see them live again
