One of the greatest Xmas presents I ever received. My parents had to hunt like crazy to find it for me.

Thanks for sharing your story. I know the feeling. Snowspeeders were never around when I wanted one. Shooting from the ....my perception...there are many collectors out there who are in it for the money... It is unfortunate that they have not had the experience you are describing.

The Falcon is one of the best toys ever made. Great job on keeping the packing materials with the box and instructions. I have two vintage Falcons and some modern ones.

Thank you for taking the time to watch the video. It is great that you have a complete collection of Falcons (assuming you have the huge Hasbro release, too). I just have one.

@@classicalvintagecollector I no longer have the 1995 POTF 2 remake because the 2004 version was the next best upgrade. Hasbro even fixed the problem with the ramp. Until the 2008 big Millennium Falcon, the 1995 and 2004 versions kept out the Jedi training ball for some unknown reason. I saw another 1979 vintage one at a friend's hobby shop and I decided to get it, too.

Nice. I need to get the gunner station for my son's, but prices are through the roof on Falcon parts . He bounght a junker version with his Christmas money at a toy show. He is eight.

Oh my friend, you showed me something that I didn’t have any idea why they were there for, the support of the false floor in the upper cover, 😂😂 when I was a kid, used to throw the floor away , I guess that’s why many falcon milleniums today are incomplete because of that part, thanks for open my eyes 😂😂 good video that recalled me the childhood.

I remember finding out i was getting the Falcon back in 1982 for Christmas, My mom had a shopping list for Batteries and next to "C" Batteries where the initials M.F. i instantly knew it was for the Falcon..and would place my Han and Chewie by the box once it was wrapped and under the tree. Christmas used to be so fun..

Love it! My mom used to leave all the gifts under the tree, as well. There was no Santa Claus in our house. Christmas was a lot more fun, I believe, because of that. The excitement just wondering what the gift was that we had desired from either the Sears, Wards, or JCPenney catalogs.

First one here in the comment section.
My favorite vehicle from star wars and Kenner. 👍 Along with the x wing fighter.
I have an idea what I thought of since my falcon is missing the training ball since it's a Hasbro 2004 release. There's a small peg that's molded to the original base template in the back but if I could one of these days, I could possibly take a small peg glue it then attach a peace of string add the bead then I guess that wraps it.
Excellent video well done good job. 👍

Thank you. I have never seen the 2004 release to know what is there. Evergreen Styrene sells all sizes of plastic dowel that could work as a peg. If you watch my video on adding footpegs to the skiff, process with use the same principle: pinvise, glue and wood burner.

That might be the one I have, but never opened it. I know it came with some figures and opened up to play inside.

Yeah I know what you're talking about. You're talking about those re packaged potf 2 later figures 1998-1999. Power of the Jedi. I have some of those. I have the han Solo, Ben Kenobi, Luke Skywalker, and princess Leia from those releases. Of course single card bought separately. I really like those figures Luke's figure comes with a training ball helmet he wears, along with the lightsaber but no gun. Leia's figure is the okay one in the bunch but hard to move the legs because of the skirt being plastic not cloth but they fixed that later in a two pack with R2. In the Leia collection. Han Solo is almost like the vintage 78 one except his right arm swivels allowing you have greedo to redo those Han & greedo cantina scenes. And it is angled like the 78 arms.
One leg can turn & bend placing one leg over the other crossing them. If you like Han putting his leg on his other leg. Ben Kenobi not really too much to say he has a lightsaber & Luke Skywalkers lightsaber on his belt peged to him. I made a custom cape for him but he didn't come with his robe cloak. Unfortunately I don't have the Chewbacca from that assortment or c 3po but I have the removable limbs version from that line. I have most of the potf 2 figures besides a proper ig 88 & I'm missing zuckuss. I don't have All of them properly per say. But I got them.
And greedo but not the potf 2 one but the re packaged potf 2 original trilogy collection one with the correct orange vest. There were two different greedos in potf 2 the original being the orange - green card in 1995-1996 and the comtech one in 1999 will better articulation but his vest was tan not orange. The one I have is the comtech one but re packed in original trilogy collection from 2004.
      Best one yet.

@@Knightrogue24. wow, the only original figure I gave us Yoda which I bought immediately after leaving the theatre after watching Empire. Being a college student I had neither the funds nor space to get much. For the special editions I watched the original trilogy on VHS to refresh my Memory before sneaking off at night away from my newborn between feedings to watch the new edition with added scenes and characters. So around 97 98 would be when I started collecting them. I didn't open them all though, unless I got two of a character. My husband started complaining after awhile and I weaned myself off trying to keep the peace. Didn't work, he's just an ass and find something else to be mad about. He collected actual cars.
