Same. Been a giant Jane's fan since I was a teen, and been a fan of this film since the day my friend brought over a VHS copy of it *way* back in the day.
Same. I still have my VHS as well as Soul Kiss. I guess only fans appreciate the movie as much as we do. I quote the most random parts of the movie all the time. The non-linear story telling keeps the movie from feeling repetitive when watching after the 100th time.
I used to see her at the methadone clinic in Bakersfield about 12 years ago. From what I hear she’s doing really well now. And neither one of us are on methadone anymore. So thank goodness for that.
I thought I read an article or saw some pics of her and her husband? I wanna say maybe boyfriend but ya she looks great there’s no way she could still be on that crap.
So was it you in photos I’m thinking of. My ex girlfriend found em cuz I showed her the band and she immediately loved kacey. So she found some pics somewhere and sent to me because we were wondering how she was doing these days. So idk where she found the pics.

I wish whoever has all the footage would make a Blu-ray version of it with all the outtakes that would be awesome! Especially the footage of the rehab/meeting sessions in their entirety. The chatter in that it's just hilarious.

@@fortylove68 sorry it took me a year to get back to you! I just saw this! No unfortunately I don't really want to sell it because it was a"gift" from a friend who is no longer here. I grew up in Huntington Beach California we have great surfing and in the '90s I knew a guy who actually surfed with Perry Farrell and I gave him my tape of gift and said could you get him to sign it and he said yeah and it was brought back to me signed and I since have had it authenticated. Not a very exciting story but nevertheless very cool to thing to have! Take care ✌️

Uhh, I can find nothing about this at all. Xiola's real name was Lisa Chester, and I can find absolutely no mention of her being any family relation to either Perry or Casey. Also no mention of any under age stuff. She died at age 19. And their time together that "Three Days" was written about happened the year before when she'd flown into town for her father's funeral (Peter Chester). I mean, I think there's a good chance she missed the funeral considering... But yeah, I think your underaged cousin claim is bunk.
It's hard to imagine what happened. But you know people just fall out of love or the magic just fades. I've heard it was the drugs that caused them to drift apart. I imagine that they were apart a lot for various reasons (not apart as broken up but apart as in not around one another) and that may have led to Perry getting interested in other women. He met his current wife when she danced for either Jane's or Porno For Pyros. Who the hell knows what it really was. But their relationship lasted for almost ten years. That's a long time. But for us fans we have a hard time understanding it because we view their relationship through rose colored glasses, being the love songs and all the good times we have been made privy to knowing. They didn't show us the hard times, lol.

She's doing great now. Been off methadone for a decade or more. She lives in the Mojave Desert and owns a nice little homestead cabin and acreage.
