- Welcome aboard the reopening cruise the Disney Dream! Today we are arriving at the FIRST cruise in 18 months after Disney Cruise Line shut down. Not only did we have the opportunity to sail away today, we also had a chance to be some of the first to go through the testing experience when we arrived. I double checked Disney's website and confirmed that information I was given at the port that was not accurate. I have updated the video to remove the confusing section. There seems to be some footage missing from the video. When you were covid tested and sat in the car for 45 minutes?
he cut that out of the video due to all the comments. The video used to be 39 min long.
Maybe they COVID tested prior to arriving and had receipt

Heads up-
Theme Park Express did not need to test at port prior to this cruise.
JoJo’s World and Kyle Pallo explained in their vlogs, they needed to test at port only because they were out of the country on a Carnival’s Mardi Gras cruise a few days before the Dream cruise sailing.
Taya who was with those two had to test as well. Everyone got tested regardless of vaccination status. The video is about cruising not the coof. Get a life
@@jimbeam4111 thats false. Taya had to get tested because she was sharing a room with Kyle & Jojo who had travelled internationally. Otherwise she would not have needed to get tested.
@@jimbeam4111 Hi I watched Jojo’s and Kyle’s and she needed to be tested since they had both been on the Carnival cruise the week before in international waters and they shared a room. I can understand how you were confused though

Hi Michael I am confused why you and David had to perform a pre-trip test and a test at the terminal? Did you not register for the cruise correctly? I saw your explanation but it does not explain why you would ever agree to pay for a COVID test before embarkation and on if you did not need to? I believe you knew the policy since you did a vlog on it? How did this mistake happen? Thanks
You don’t pay for the covid test. They were giving test no matter vaccination status. The video is about cruising not the covid.
@@jimbeam4111 yes you do. It’s $98 for the PCR and $65 for the port rapid test. If you show proof of vaccination then you don’t have to test. It’s right on the DCL website and it’s not confusing.

We were having second thoughts with the restrictions, etc. We just watched your video again and it pushed us over the edge! We are very excited about the upcoming cruise. Thank you for all you do!

No. If you provided proof of vaccination and had not traveled in from outside of the USA, you did not have to test. Michael is giving bad information.

Just received my "Clear to Sail" from Safe Passage. Boarding should be even easier than Michael and David's process. Unfortunately our 7-day September cruise on the Fantasy has been changed to a four-day cruise and we will learn the specifics at the end of this month. Four days is better than no days. Some magic is better than no magic. Can't wait to see the rest of Michael's Vlogs. Thanks for all the previews and food reviews.

Thank you for showing us the entire process to boarding. I love the fact that they make you wait in your car in case someone’s test does come back positive they can’t get others sick.

I’m super happy for you guys since you’re so excited! I do have to say, I just cancelled my Disney cruise. Based on your video and what others have said (and I know I’m in the minority feeling this way), I’m glad I did. I like the reduced capacity - looks like around 30-40% but of, course that will change in the future. I hope the rest of your cruise was marvelous! I look forward to the rest of your vlogs!

Great to come along on your disney cruise adventure. The ship looks stunning. So many characters around. That pumpkin pie looks amazing. The meal u had for dinner looked so yummy, especially the soup and dessert. Love how u show the merchandise and the prices. I love the black/gold spirit jersey and the navy/sparkling red hat. Looking forward to seeing what you get up too, especially what u eat over next couple days.

Seeing the vlog there's no way capacity was capped at 60%. Other vloggers who were also on this sailing said it was 30% which sounds more reasonable!!
