This is a helpful progression. However, having worked through similar progressions over the past two years, I find that the tricky part is being able to judge when to move onto the next phase. More often than not, my progress isn't steady, but more like a series of ups and downs, depending on the day, the activity, and whatever else I'm doing outside of the gym.
Unfortunately progress isn't linear with rehab because there are a lot of variables that can influence pain day to day. For example, sleep and stress can make some exercises that were tolerated previously become more painful.
@@MichaelBraccio I know what you mean. There are some days I feel like I'm beginning to overcome the injury, and some days where I feel like I'm back to square one. I've have a number of injuries in my life, but this one is by far the most challenging, both physically and psychologically, for the very reasons you point out. I think for those of us with chronic PHT, we just have to keep our heads down and keep putting in the work.
