This is actually the successor to the Celica GT4. It actually took over the ST chassis code from the Celica. The ST205 was the last iteration of the S powered Celicas, before the ZZT Celicas emerged. The ST chassis designation was then assigned to the Caldina for the last 2 generations of 3SGTE powered AWD platforms, ST215 and ST246.
I can't believe you imported Caldina in US. There are a lot of Toyota Caldina in Siberia and Far East in Russia. I own this car, one of the best car ever
This Caldina GTT has more power than Celica GT four Has bigger water cooler Lighter pistons More compression Upgraded turbo CT15B And has more torque 😊
Big ups to the man them. I drove in a white one like this back in the 2000s. It was an automatic though, but trust me, the power and acceleration. I been watching videos, how these JDM classics taking over the US. Anyday I get my visa, I gonna find one of these gems and buy. Love how this one look clean and nice, even with the turbo timer. You need to get one of those camera wah can do an in person drive. So you can share how the vehicle them pull or sound on the road. Max respect. 🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲👍🏽👍🏽
1:57 i wish it shared everything with the gt4 celica the transmission is different its weaker in the caldina, caldina trans can hold around 500hp and celica can hold about 700hp or at least as far as im aware
The Caldina gt4 is from the st246 generation, looks completely different and came in only auto. The Caldina GTT was mostly made in automatic and only a few thousand in manual. The manual GTT comes with a torsen lsd rear diff while the auto does not
@@rootsmotorsports6984 here in New Zealand there are quite a few caldinas. One I don’t see as often which makes me like them more is the GT non turbo one. Unfortunately auto only but the have a red top beams 3sge which I think are 200hp
@@geoffreyrebman6910 the only issue with them here in the states is replacement parts are not that easy to come by even with that in mind I would still own one.
@rootsmotorsports6984 yeah a lot of parts have to come from over seas. I have had luck with some parts being shared by the camry, gt4 celica and the rav4 however. It's honestly hit and miss

When it comes to parts, where do you guys get it? Can you find it here I US as alternative?
Most parts have to be imported from Japan or another market where the Caldinas were available .
