    This controller doesn't have dedicated stems buttons nor control? Thanks nice mix bro 👍

      Thanks, and no it doesnt have any form of stem separation (yet) maybe in a future update. It has had some significant changes over the years since it came out trough software updates, so who knows.

    Awesome job man. How did you get the jog displays to display artwork though I want to do that with my sc live 4

    • @Motel-Music
      @Motel-Music  3 місяці тому

      I don't believe the screen of the SC Live 4 is capable of that as its just a numeric display. On the SC6000 you can put your own logo on the players as well by uploading a cover.png file to your library.

    What device is used to get audio out of your a has not of time to find to get pro audio on my live stream, but is a good go now, nice mix. And I wish they update Amazon music w the bpm information . And make stems a thing for this unit and it’ll be just about complete,but coming from serato to this is amazing even though you can use serato etc

      Do you mean what speakers I use or how I record it? The speakers I Currently use are the Yamaha HS8 and in the studio Focal Alpha 65 Evo. For recording I just use the SD card or usb hat my music is on and the internal record function. For the club setup I use a Reloop Tape 2 to record via the record out on the mixer. You could also use this if you want to record your set while using streaming services.

      @@Motel-Music didn’t even know until now that something like this existed far as the tape 2 ,nice is there a reason far as recording in the club why you choose this over programming recording on the pc vs the tape 2? Is it the portability? I just discovered the mackie fx v3 for my streaming needs ,works great! And btw when I purchased my live 4 I couldn’t record w just the as card I had to take the as card back and get a sub then everything was fine unless I have to get both then I can do either ,will that work?

      I just really dont like a PC while DJing. I already use screen to much for work haha. And the tape 2 is really easy to use. Just plug it into the mixer and press record. No software or anything needed.

    How do you get video with sound from the SC?
    Thanks

    • @Motel-Music
      @Motel-Music  2 місяці тому

      You can record the sound of the SC4 itself on the usb stick or sd card that you use for playing. I record my video's with different kinds of camera's and then sync the camera audio with the internal audio recorded from the SC 4 in Premiere Pro.

    Hello, do you think you can get instant fx on pads please ?

    • @Motel-Music
      @Motel-Music  27 днів тому

      You have 2 options for using FXs, either the FX bar on the right of the mixer like a normal mixer, or you can use instant FX trough a menu on the screen. I never use that tho. I'm not a big FX guy myself.
      and if you press shift and roll above the pads you get a sampler that maybe you can assign some fx sounds too.

    Its possible to play 4 tracks in same time ?

    • @Motel-Music
      @Motel-Music  6 місяців тому +3

      It sure is possible! It just doesn't fit my playing style that much so I barely use channel 3 & 4. you can use those channels by pressing the button next to the platter. And the display will adapt to 4 players.

    Hello, there is no way I can get the BPM to appear on the screen (although I analyze everything with Engine), can you help me get it? It is important for me to see the BPM on the screen and organize it in ascending or descending order. Thank you very much Joana d.j. Spain

      Do you mean the main display or the screens on the platters? I had that issue once but just restarting the unit fixed it. If your screen doesn't show it in the main display try Shift+View to change your info on the screen. Otherwise I honestly have no idea why it won't show up.

      @@Motel-Music Hello Motel, first of all, thank you for answering my question so quickly. I mean, for example, I have a 1 TB hard drive (how could I put pen drivers) in one of the USB ports, and logically it's all my music from my computer in a folder that I call My Music, and within that folder are the sub-folders by genre, (with different names of course), by year, etc. and logically it shows me the root folder of My Music I enter (I'm always talking about the 7" screen of the controller not the joys) and it shows me all the folders and subfolders, I choose a folder and in the right half of the screen they all appear the songs that are in that chosen folder, and the information of the Artist, the title of the song and something else comes, but I can never see the BPM and I would like the BPM to be seen, on the right side of the song because if you fixed above there is an arrow inside a round icon that serves to organize the songs from least to most BPM, or vice versa, with which I always organize them on my laptop, from least to most, Why?, simple because to measure As the night goes by and people dance more, I go up in BPM to match the environment, so I can have, let's say, the first song with a BPM of 128, and going down the list goes up, so the last song goes up. from the list can easily end up having a BPM of 150, so I need the BPM information to be reflected in the right half of the 7" screen of the controller, I don't know if I have explained it well, thank you very much in advance. Greetings Joana d.j.

      @@Joanny69-yc6tm What I understand is that you just put in your hard drive with all your music on it in the usb port and let the player read all your tracks. I think you need to import them into Engine OS on your PC first and then export your library onto a USB stick or drive that you plugin the player.
      That way all your music is analyzed for BPM, genre etc etc.
      You can change what you see on your screen via the menu when sliding down on the top of your screen. or it that doesnt work shift+view changes your main screen lay-out. I haven't played much since the new update so now idea what that does.
      But your BPM should always be visible when your tracks are analyzed via Engine OS.

    Do you have it on auto mix? Because you Steve not even touching the pitch to mix songs?

    • @Motel-Music

      You can literally see me beatmatch every single track, did you even watch the whole video? Because the first two tracks are already loaded from the start of the video the rest isn't.

      @grahamkelly8662 6 місяців тому

      @@Motel-Music yes I watched it all but I didn’t see you move pitch. I heard these devices have some auto mix option and thought that was what you was doing. Because when mixing, you really have to move the pitch some and I didn’t see that here.

    • @Motel-Music
      @Motel-Music  6 місяців тому +1

      So what is it that I'm doing at for instance: 8:33 and 14:02 etc? I mainly move the pitch fader as soon as I have selected my track to get in the rough ballpark of the tempo, and finetune it while playing. If you use Auto Mix it just plays a playlist all by itself. you cant use the controls then. @@grahamkelly8662

      @@Motel-Music oh ok. Listen, I wasn’t knocking you. I was just a bit confused, as to if you’re mixing or controller is doing it. It seems you’ve taken offence and I apologise. That wasn’t my intention.
      Do you actually recommend this dj controller for home use?
      Does mixing on it feel nice?
      Are the built in speakers good enough for bedroom mixing?
      This costs £990 on Amazon and I’m just unsure if I’ll like the feel of device. Any advice would be great.

      @@grahamkelly8662 No worries I havent taken any offense, Im not that sensitive lol. I just showed you what I was doing, thats the whole point of this video.
      I do absolutely recommend this standalone controller. There is nothing else like it for the price and it works great. Also keeps getting updates for FXs and just got bluetooth so you can even stream from your phone.
      If you can get it for under 1k and you are looking for a solid 4 deck DJ controller I would totally get it.
      The in build speakers are good enough for mixing late at night even when you don't want to disturb the neighbors. They go pretty loud and have some bass when set on a table. Real speakers are always better of course but you can do without with this.
      You can even run the whole system on a battery pack if you really want to be mobile.
