Woah! Just seen the price of the high mod. It's a lot of cash, especially compared to the NoLimitz and Cedrus which have the flexibility of changing between brands. The stiffness vs weight issue is an interesting one too...
Awesome review as usual 😁 ! We hear a lot about this "high modulus" power carbon... but what about the other masts ? Is it worth going for the high modulus for us lighter riders ? I'm 63kg, prone foiling mainly a 75cm/art999 setup, and idk what to think
I actually didn't know the regular power carbon mast was coming out when I did this review, but have since ridden both of them... The high moduls is best for heavier riders, or for really wide span wings. At my weight I would be perfectly happy with the regular mast. I can feel the difference on the 1099 and the 999, but it isn't huge differences in my opinion. I am also only 68kg haha.
Great video Oskar, as usual! I noticed in your previous videos on Armstrong setups you use +0.5 degree shim which effectively makes the incidence angle of the stabilizer -0.5 degree (armstrong fuse has -1 degree if bolted straight on, you add +0.5 so the result is -0.5), have you tried with +1 degree shim to make the tail wing flat or it doesn't work that well for pumping? An idea for your next video - tips and tricks for taking off / starting to prone. I've been winging for a while but never tried prone, some tips would definitely help. There is a lot of folks like me who wing but never tried proning.
Do you use the standard black fuselage or the new advanced one ? Thank you for all your videos, I like watching them, your video about pumping helped me a lot understanding how it works.
100% agree! I have got it much better since doing these old videos but this one was particularly bad. Using good quality headphones really helps though...
Still blown away that you can say anything while pumping - let alone review a mast.
Great review as always! Nice work completing it while still on foil :) Looks like a luxury upgrade
You are the King Oskar , great review marathon man
Thank you. Awesome review. Get it
Awesome review style!
Cheers guys!

No Limitz does not have interchangeable adaptors.
@@tom-foil correct. Only the Cedrus has changeable adapters.

How is it there's nobody else there. If this were San Diego, there would be 1,522 people out!
And now you know why I never respond to people who ask "where is this spot?" 🤣
@@OskarJohansson1 Lol, I see. There are no secrets like that left where I live :(
I pump for 2 minutes and I’m gassed. What planet are you from? 😬. Another amazing live review!
Thoughts on the 90 vs the 82?
So how much does it weight?
I have the old carbon mast 75cm and am thinking of upgrading
Hey mate. I just weighed the new 82cm high modulus mast and it weighs 2328g. I can weigh the regular power carbon mast tomorrow.
@@OskarJohansson1 interested in these data too, just following 😉
From what I read both should be around the same weight.
@@OskarJohansson1what is the weight of the 82 regular carbon?
Hey, good info! How do you get the audio that good?
Believe it or not its from a GoPro. I just have to clean the hell out of it in post!
What deck is he riding?
The board I am riding? The board is one I made myseld. The dimensions are in the description but made from EPS core, with standard epoxy/inegra glass.
Sound quality makes it hard to understand a lot of what you’re saying.
