Pile 1! You're correct about being hurt by a person. I moved on in terms of wanting romance or a friendship from him. I do stay up at night sometimes feeling hurt because four years I invested in this and only to get that treatment from him. It comes in waves and I don't want him back because I made the right choice in leaving him behind, but it's an awful feeling. If I was in a new relationship I would just cry in this new guy's arms because the pain was so deeply inflicted that it's in my soul. Why? Is all I think about. What made him think it was okay to do this to me? Was it my fault? I feel so foolish too. For thinking things would get better because he was my twin, and I could forgive him. I just wanted to be happy as friends if lovers wasn't going anywhere. I'm not confused about what I wanted from him anymore. It's nothing now because the damage is done. I can't fix something that I no longer need or want anymore. That makes me cry because I didn't know I could be at this level where I'm completely done. No apology, no explanation, or begging will change my mind. It's like I lost my home, best friend, and lover all in one go. No one understands how that feels and I'm not holding on. I'm just mourning the painful betrayal, and people don't understand how I will probably forever processes this because connections matter to me deeply. My first love took me ten years to finally heal from when he was only in my life for a year. I can just imagine how long it'll take this time around because I did love someone who decided to hurt me. To not love someone who you couldn't imagine life without before is extremely painful. You turn nasty, you feel an internal struggle because you don't want to be negative. I know any future lover will see this as I'm not over him, but I am. To me, it's like remembering when a family member died. Months, years, and decades pass as you forget everything you loved about them, but you never forget the sense of loss, confusion, and sadness you feel when it happened. It's heartbreaking to me because how am I supposed to forget how much this person meant to me once? I'm grateful when we get reincarnated that I'll forget all these memories and will be at peace. May the universe guide you all to get to better days because only my guides know how much I suffered with this heavy heart. I know I'm rightfully able to live a happy life, but I feel so much pain from the idea of it. To be selfish, and to not care about him.
