When dad went across the road to Picasso’s drawing and the camera panned at the incoming van, I, for a second, caught myself naturally thinking Steven was actually holding the camera without realizing it couldn’t be him because he was playing the dad.

This is my MOM!!!!!! I can’t go with her on trips anymore because we stop every two steps for her to take photos with everything.. and she likes to take selfies with landscapes, but the funny thing is only her face appears on the photo and not the landscapes.. she doesn’t understand why…and she doesn’t care.. she can still describe all the landscapes on her selfies years ago how beautiful they were even if they were not photographed 😂
Thankfully, your mum can remember her landscapes & described the backgrounds well. My aunt was the opposite. Because she was the pretty one among her siblings, all her photos in every photo album she possessed was her posing like a model, in perfect make-up. There was one time she went to (Orlando's) Disneyland, and instead of posing next to Mickey Mouse, other Disney characters, rides, statues, shops or food in Disneyland, 98% of all photos was her face or 3/4 portraits of her face till knee level. Can say, she values her own vanity/looks over once-a lifetime experiences.

The poses are so accurate. I'm German and when I was in an area famous for tourism (the Alps), I saw a lot of asian tourists who were taking photos of everything. It's funny to watch, but also making me kinda weirdly proud.
I felt the same way when I went to yellowstone for the first time. We were next to a riverbank near one of the geysers at around 7 in the morning, it was crisp, quiet, serene and beautiful, and the sun hadn't broken the horizon yet. At around 7:30, we headed back towards the parking lot.
But suddenly, upon reaching our car, around ten buses came into the parking lot, and out came around eighty Chinese ( I believe) tourists piling onto the boardwalk, armed with selfie sticks and posing in humorously exaggerated ways.
I don't know why, but I was highly tickled that they were having so much fun in the park. It's always a good feeling to see foreign visitors enjoying what America has to offer, always loved it!
I once saw a Chinese tourist family in my country take pictures of everything, including taking several pictures of a random pigeon on the ground, the grass next to a historical church, the clouds in the sky, some random people that went by minding their own business, it was honestly amazing
It's not everyday we Asians see those things, American things

Went to a tourist trap in my state just to check it out, and there was a massive Asian family (like 20 people) taking a group photo. I decided to be stupid and photobomb them just as a joke. I got in behind the family, and, as a 6' tall white guy, I stood out like a sore thumb. The guy photographing (also asian) noticed this, and got really excited. I thought he was pissed for a moment, but he gave me a hand signal to stay there and keep going. The family thought he was signalling them to keep holding the pose. So, for about 30 seconds I was making faces, poses, bunny ears and other stupid stuff to be silly. Everyone started getting annoyed at why he was taking so long, then they noticed me standing behind them. They were like "who is this guy?", and the guy photographing waved them over. They cycled through the pics and were laughing their asses off all waving at me. Apparently I made their day. Either that, or they were just super-polite and acted like I was funny then deleted the pics. I don't know. It was a weird experience.
I'm pretty sure they printed those pics out and framed them. This is not a joke.
I visited China and on more than one occasion had strangers invite themselves to be in our posed photos. Native asians generally love any proof of having personally interacted with americans

That's just not that smart as you will spend money you could spend elsewhere and you won't even have a great first person experience of that place. If you just want to be surprised by new things just try a nice and free google session exploring new cultures 😂.
@@teknogensis3864 Oh don't worry. They're like children. Just dress it up nicely in a plate and serve it a hotel's restaurant and they'll eat it and try it. Smh

Literally my mom fussing whenever she tells me to take the picture for her, but complains that it was blurry and had to take picture again. Then ask me to be in the picture while she takes photo. Happens literally when on family trip, it takes 5 minute of picture on every stop xD. PS don't tell my mom about this haha.
Then she has to retake the photo because your hair flew in a weird way 😥
I make short skits like Steven He! He's been my biggest inspiration and inspired me to make my own skits. Can you guys check them out? 😇 thank you 🥰!!!
I can relate.

Yes vacation pictures r pain
2:10 this actually happened to me once. I was like 10, in New York, on the boat to see the Statue of Liberty, and some Chinese lady asked my mom if she could take a picture with me because I had beautiful hair (I'm ginger). It's been many years, but still remember it haha
My sister has blonde hair and an Asian family asked to take a picture with her on the beach 😂

when I was 14 in high school in a small town of China. I met a family from America. that's the first time i saw real Americans. and they stayed in my school for a month. and finally I took a picture together with the youngest girl who is also around 12. I can remember I'm not even dare to touch her. because she is just like a ceramic doll to me.
right now I'm almost 40.. how time flies.
@@louiswu6300 yeah, if you are asian even though you are white, its still very weird to see raw white americans because they looks like a fragile doll lmao. Not trying to be racist but your mind just think like that
When I lived in Japan, people were constantly mistaking me for Claire Danes. Asking me for autographs and taking pictures.
There was a bunch of Asian tourists that saw me and kept ooooooh he so handsome and asked to take a picture with me. I was kinda freaked out. This video is low key accurate

You stole that from a movie. "now you see me 2" if I'm not mistaken.
@@firstlast-fr1le idk even know what that movie is but sorry if i stole the comment
The Chinese food you see in the West is basically nothing like the regular food in China; In my home city of 1.5m in Australia I only know of 2 places where I can find 番茄鸡蛋米饭, and that's the closest thing China has to a national dish (each region is quite different; the easiest way I can describe China is that it's a bunch of different countries under one political and economic system).

I went to highschool in the hills where there were so many stunning forests, we had a lot of tourists see us walking down to the pool in our house colours for sports days and they would all take photos of us and be amazed at everything. It was nice that the locals and the forests made tourists so happy :D
I just moved away from Vermont and I can confirm it looks like that in the summers
Tourists like this might seem annoying at first, but I really love their enthusiasm. When I’m a tourist, I try to blend in as much as possible and I’m embarrassed to take photos. But honestly, who cares what other people think?
Usually locals and natives are very happy that people from all around the world are interested in their homeland, culture and food. And as a bonus, tourism helps business. It's not the tourists per se who are annoying. It's the people who don't respect rules and boundaries, running around like they own the place.
No-one mind you taking pictures, als long as you either ask the person that's going to be in the shot, and of course respecting prohibitions (mainly in museums, churches and military bases)
Sometimes you should care if you're being disruptive. Imagine chilling on you chair enjoying a nice read and suddenly I walk past your garden, taking photos while shouting to my tourist friends "hey look there's a foreigner reading a book on a weird ass chair, how rare! Wow that's a dog, a fat ass dog! Look at that stupid cat, must've been eating KFC all day long to get that flat face mutation. Eww is that a foreign bug on a foreign flower, disgusting but so cool, need to take a pic real quick. Ah my balls itch and I'm gonna scratch it, no worry the foreigner can't speak my language, so dumb!"
@@MoonshineTora "people who don't respect rules and boundaries, running around like they own the place." - perfect definition of a lot of tourists actually !!
Fair warning: If you are a tourist in NYC, the locals HATE you. Particularly if you stare up at the buildings and gawk.
@@MonkeyJedi99 Yeah, I would be pissed too, if people suddenly stopped right in front of me with no regards of their surroundings.
I hate locals who do that in my city, already. they don't even have to be tourists.
