I have been skating for 8 or so months now, i can ollie decently high and even do some 5050's on ledges. however i have been having trouble with ollieing straight. my ollies always somewhat go FS. any tips for correcting this mistake to get straighter ollies ?
Yo! Keep your shoulders in line with your board. I had this problem with kickflips for a while, and for me, keeping my shoulders straight made all the difference. Hope that helps!! 👊
@@SkateAthletics appreciate this alot.. do you have any practise steps to help keep it in line? even when i am thinking about keeping it in line, they dont
Mmm been trying to think of some but I can’t! Usually when I’m trying a new ledge trick I take baby steps towards keeping the shoulders perfectly square to the board. I start slow with small grinds, then progressively get faster and faster. My shoulders are usually what is keeping me from landing most ledge tricks. Baby steps to get over the fear, then just go for it.
Short and straight to the point, i like this format
Thanks!! I appreciate the feedback :)
