When there were two changelings and one was odo and the other a founder, they could have known instantly that the one that took form faster was the founder because odo didn’t have as much experience shape shifting.
I hope that someday that Odo will return to Nyres and maybe they will take their relationship to the level. Meaning marriage or starting a family of his own.
Not really sure they can start a family, I guess doctors could create a gamete with a bit of Odo's Morphigenic structure, but I'm not sure if it would be compatible with Nyres' DNA, they could always adopt or Odo could be the parent of a little changeling, they obviously reproduce somehow, but I not sure how many changelings it takes to make a new one. One thing's for sure, Odo wouldn't have any trouble keeping Nyres happy.
During the time Odo was "solid", he had blood, tissue, DNA and everything of a humanoid. Perhaps he was capable of reproducing the "human" way at that time.
Well the founders took away his ability to be a changeling so the others at the home world could take it away so he can have a baby then he could go back to become a changeling again now that did merge him with a dying changeling earlier in the series but you never know maybe it was to young
Odo was a really nice, kind, and friendly changeling then the female changeling from season 3 who I think that she was evil clut leader. I'm that at the of season 7, she took responsibility for her war crimes on the whole gaxaly. Odo returned home to heal his family. I hope that he changed their minds too about all soilds not just his girlfriend Nyres.
@@AndyKennett Yeah but a cardassian once implied that he has taken the form of a cardassian before by asking if he still does the neck thing, so who knows, I think if Odo can mimic a rat flawlessly he could mimic one of the crew, maybe it the voice he would have trouble with.
Oh I knew that he didn't want to link with the female shape-shifter but towards the end of the show in season 7 she was part of the war and evil I'm glad she gets to trial found guilty. I'm glad that Odo went back home to his people cure them of the deadly disease and also teach them what Odo, has learned about humanoids and that humanoids aren't so bad and trusting they can be. Does anyone else agree with me on this?
when it comes to parts in this clip like 0:07,1:41, 2:13, 3:32, 4:29, 4:33, 7:39, and without the master of disguise thing, I can pitcher a character like that in the Marvel Series as a 5th U-Foe member,
I never understood why the founders look like Odo... Odo looks like he does because he was never taught how to use his abilities correctly. Why would the founders choose to look imperfect?

I always cringed everytime Otto would say "my people". Like they were something to be needed for him when they were nothing but homicidal maniacs hell bent on universal domination by way of genocide after genocide. Not one writer thought to give Otto the epiphany needed in seeing he has been with his people the entire time. The DS9 family. To this day I watch DS9 episodes but as soon as that Changling lady enters the scene I change the channel.
