I’ve dealt with this once and I’ve seen it in a show called “the hauntings of the hill house” but me there was a a shadow in the corner of my room with a body barely visible. The man or woman was very tall with no facial feautures and very tall no clothing just darkness walked up over me and then it knelt over it was right there above me. I just about had a heart attack and then I could finally sit up. God bless it’s never happened to me again I’m sorry u had to deal with it

One time I was laying in my bed and I suddenly realized I couldn’t move. I heard whispering from multiple people, slowly becoming more panicked sounding, saying things like ‘you must leave’ basically telling me to get the hell out. After a few minutes the voices which were now whisper-yelling went completely silent, then I feel hot breath on my ear and whatever was there just screamed directly in my ear angrily, my ears rang for about 30 seconds afterwards and then I could move again, I sat up and realized I was crying

I also have one of these stories!
Once I was feeling sad and went to sit in a puplic bathroom (this is highschool)
And I checked to see if anyone was in the three cabins before I went in just to avoid any awkwardness(yall know how it is).
And after like 20 minutes, i heard someone take toilet paper from the cabin next to me. I even saw a shadow moving from the gab between the wall and the floor.
I of course just thought that i had kept this person waiting for all the time I had lowkey been crying(like every other normal highschooler).
And my instinct was of course to just friggin run. Obviously.
But when i got out of there, i saw that all the cabins were empty and there was no way that someone had gotten out of there that quietly, since all the doors are loud and scratchy(also then they hadn't washed their hands and thats gross lol)

Here's a true story (it's pretty long, so bare with meh)
Once it was my little brother (Xander) and I staying up late at night. He was playing a game and I was on my laptop in my room, when he starts to cry. I go over there, and he tells me that he just saw a man, near our door, with something shiny in his hand. I told him to go to sleep, and we'll find out tomorrow.
The next night, I tell my 4 siblings that we were going to stay up to see if Xander was telling the truth. A few minutes later I see a silouhette of a man through the cracks of the blinds, and I got so scared. I quickly close the blind, and tell my siblings to sleep in the living room. I got a metal baseball bat, and we all camped out in the living room. It was around 12:00 AM when we hear what sounded like gunshots. The thing is, we lived near a forest, in an apartment, so we thought it was a hunter, but no hunters live near us. At this point, I'm scared shitless, and I tell my siblings to go to sleep and I'll stay up to protect them.
I stood up to about 5:00 AM without anything happening, so I went to sleep
The next morning, I go to open the blinds, and I see scratch marks on the window.
Worst night of my life
The bad part? Xander was hallucinating, so I stood up till 5 for nothing. Still, the experience was horrifying

I dreamed once that I killed a giant potato with the weasleys and I also dreamed that Michael Jackson was trying to sign an autograph but suddenly we ended up on a platform with a little girl about 3 or 4 and we had to figure out how to stop it cos it wouldn't stop. In the end we all became friends.

Guys this happened to my father.
He lived in an apartment on the top floor. The building had four floors.
One day just as he was going to sleep, he heard heavy footsteps like someone wearing heavy boots was walking up the stairs and stopped in front of his door. He went and opened the door but nobody was there.
This kept on happening for almost three days. Then finally he stood right in front of the door and just as the footsteps stopped in front of the door, he quickly opened the door but nobody was there.
My father is the type of person who doesn't get spooked easily but at that tine he was SCARED. He continued living there. He told this to me when i was 12. When he looks back at this now he just casually laughs like it was just a common thing.

She was sleeping one night when she suddenly woke up, she looked out her door to the hallway and saw a man leaning in her room staring at her, she said to me she didnt know if it was her dad checking up on her or what. She never saw it again though.
This happened to me,
I was around 4 years old and I woke up around 1 in the morning laying on the ground with my arms and legs splayed out, I instantly cried for my mom, I now wonder how I ended up on the ground perfectly splayed out like that.

I had sleep paralysis once. They say it happens mainly to ppl when sleeping on ur back. I tried to move and talk to tell my roommate I couldnt move. But when i realized I couldn't even speak, that freaked me out more. My instincts told me not to open my eyes, but keep em closed til I could move. Which not to long after I was able to control my body again. It scared the crap outta me.

I have a sleep paralysis story from when I was young.
It was the weekend and I was waking my mum up to make breakfast because I was like 4 or 5 and had no idea how to cook anything or make cereal. I shook her but she didn't wake up (dad wasn't home, he was at the store so I was home alone with my mum.) I started whining "moooom wake upppp" but she didn't wake up, I shook her more but she still wouldn't wake up. I wasn't scared, I knew she was alive and everything was okay (I'm psychic and I felt positive energy from her and any energy means that she's alive, at the time I didn't know I was psychic and thought everyone could do that) I pinched her and she suddenly opened her mouth saying "Guðrún?"(that's my name) I say something like "yeah wake up I'm hungry" and then she asked if it was the real me. I was very confused and asked what she meant. Then her hand started shaking, she asked me where my dad was. "He's at the store why?" I answered. Then she preceded to tell me that she was stuck in a forest where the trees had no leaves and were completely black, she had been looking for me and my dad for days after we all went into the forest together as a fun trip, she found dummy versions of us every now and then but once she got close to them they turned into fruit. She wasn't sure if she was talking to the real me or not, there was also this silver hand chasing her jumping from tree to tree and crawling up behind her.
Baby me got a little worried and I knew something wasn't right, I knew what she just told me was her dream but she didn't seem to know, her hand was still shaking and she hadn't opened her eyes. I said to her "Mom! Wake up, it's a dream, it isn't real!" She didn't believe me and called out that she was gonna find the real me and told me to stop talking and move out of the way because I was fake. I told her "mum, it's just a nightmare, it's okay I have those too" she seemed to calm down, or at least her hand stopped shaking and her face looked calmer, then she told me to look at her wedding ring to see if it was broken and had a gap in it. It didn't. Then she woke up suddenly and didn't remember the dream.
When I was 9 my parents got divorced and my mum mentioned the dream I thought she'd forgotten completely.
