My father received a scam call with MY OWN VOICE stating I was in jail, it wasn't my fault and he needs to call this specific number to help me out. Oddly the caller's voice sounded like my mouth was against a wall or something, and the number he called was suspicious so he hung up, he called a close family friend to check up on me and I told them I was okay and nothing was wrong, then I found out the scary truth... Scammers have no life and trying to ruin people's lives like mine to gain a profit on with no soul whatsoever! Be safe, it's scary out there.

It they can’t though… you need at least a few minutes of speech with no background noise to get even a slightly good ai voice. Most well know models have hours and hours of footage that they use, so don’t stress

This just happened to my aunt a few days ago!! She picked up the call, and she could hear her son crying in the background. Like literally his voice, it sounded exactly like it. And he was saying "help me mama.. *sobbing", the guy on the other end was saying "please save your child hes dying.." This is honestly really scary.😓

This is why I tend to screen calls labeled "scam likely" or from other random area codes across the US that aren't recognized businesses

What I love about their Norton scam is that it never has my name right and only 25% of the time has my email as my name lol. Then there's the conflicting amounts on the %off that has yet to show the same percentage in both spots.

There is so many ads of scams on youtube right now using ai generated voices of your favorite celebrities to trick people into falling for them. Its getting scary now and UA-cam being UA-cam of course allows these ads to go by.
