NIGHT OF THE DEMONS (1988) Directed by Kevin Tenney.
This is a classic horror comedy from the 80's that is a close runner-up to EVIL DEAD with its tongue in cheek/horror take on a possessed (not haunted) house!
Stacy AND I will be viewing this movie for the FIRST TIME!

Linea Quigley (lipstick girl) is probably the best known of the bunch, she's also in Return of the living dead which is one of the best cheesy horrors of the 80s
Return of the Living Dead is UNBEATABLE in the zombie/comedy aspect. UNBEATABLE👏🏼
@@LazyDazeMedia RotLD3 struck me as a (twisted, but not unlovely) love story. I recently saw Linnea Quigley in "Creepazoids" LOL that movie made not a lick of sense, but was fun enough.
she's also in Silent Night, Deadly Night, and has a small part in A Nightmare on Elm Street 4: The Dream Master, where she plays one of the souls in Freddy's chest.
Return of the Living Dead is not cheesy.

The actress who plays Angela is also a professional dancer and has worked as a backup dancer for the likes Donna Summers, Cher, Smokey Robinson, and Sheena Easton.

This is on my Top five favorite list when it comes to demon movies. I saw this when i was 12 years old and it was really scary!

Nice to see people are still watching these classics, wish I can watch it again for the first time. Angela dancing to Bauhaus was my favorite scene in the whole movie

I'm glad this movie is just now getting a lot of attention on UA-cam, I've been hoping someone would react to it. It's not the best movie, the acting kind of sucks but the effects are great and it's very enjoyable. An amazing Halloween movie imo.
also It could have been one of the best selling horror movies of 1988 but it only had a theatrical run in Chicago.
This is definitely a favorite now! Had major Evil Dead vibes and I appreciated the atmosphere and fx

My friends and I watched this in high school when it was released on VHS back in the day. To this day, we still say, "Oh, Billy!" (just like the mom with the sun-dried poodle turds) when we see something unappetizing at a buffet or salad bar.

I’ve been a huge horror movie fan since I was a kid; I actually have seen a vast majority that’s out there however there are still a few that have been left unturned ahaha it is definitely a favorite now, especially being a big fan of the EVIL DEAD franchise 😂
Night of the creeps is a movie I remember from my childhood as well like this one. We watched all kinds of movies that were inappropriate for kids back then.

If this is her favorite so far, I recommend you guys check out the sequel. It's actually worth watching as it still has the fun cheesy feel of the first. I like to forget that the third film exists, it's that bad.

the 3rd film is crazy has the most sexy fellatio scene involving a gun on film
The 2009 remake is a guilty pleasure that's equally bad/cheesy/good as well, and stars Shannon Elizabeth (American Pie), Monica Keena (Freddy vs Jason), Ed Furlong (Terminator 2), and features a cameo from Linea Quigley, as "the Ballerina".
I honestly love both versions

The music playing during Angela's dance is "Bauhaus - Stigmata Martyr". Hmm I just realized that my picture is Angela after she bit Stooge's tongue off.

In High School, this one made the rounds with my peer-group, thanks to me (hee hee). For years later, one friend of ours would bust unto uncontrollable laughter, hearing the words "The Lipstick Scene."

Linnea Quigley was one of the few Scream Queens that didn't mind full-frontal but the mpaa most certainly did, she has two famous nude scenes and they forced her to wear prosthetics in both, fake boobs in this, fake crotch in Return of living dead stripping scene lol
The Lazarus Effect is a very good horror movie

Nice video, I really enjoyed it. Its the second video of yours I've watched after An American Werewolf in London and I'm hooked on you videos. I vividly remember the cover for Night of the Demons in the video store when I was a kid and yeah, the cover freaked me out then. I didn't see this until my late teens and when I did I loved it. Its so cheesy in places but in a good way, its just a super fun movie to watch. The lipstick scene is definitely a big WTF moment for me and with most everyone who sees it lol. Angela's dance scene to the song Stigmata Martyr by Bahaus is awesome, its creepy, sexy and tense all in one. I don't know if you've ever seen the old Inspector Gadget cartoon from the 80s, but I think its funny that all the demons sound like Dr. Claw from that cartoon, check it out! Its such a fun movie, I love it and am glad you two loved it. Keep the great content coming. Stay safe, ✌
Thanks!!!! Yeah I had a real fear just based on the cover of Night of The Demons but so glad I watched it as an adult, i don’t think I would have had the same appreciation as I do now for it.
Oh, yeah! American Werewolf was my first ever horror film, and favorite to this day! I'm going to watch their vid right now!
There's a 1991 little known movie called "The Boneyard" which has the creepiest zombie children I've ever seen. It starts off slow but makes up for in third half. The zombie poodle at the end must be seen to believe.
Yeah, this has always been one of my faves. Believe it or not there are two sequels, and a remake from 2009. I personally never liked it or the sequels.
Possessed Angela is the face of the sequels.
Also check out WITCHBOARD (1986), from the makers of NIGHT OF THE DEMONS. Best horror flick about a Ouija board you'll ever see.

For fun, creepy horror-comedies, you might try "Parents" and "Fido."
"Voodoo Moon" was fun, and has an impressive ensemble cast. For higher production-value effort, you might look at Peter Jackson's "The Frighteners."

Honestly, I like Night of the Demons 2 way better than this one, which is rare for me because I usually prefer the original films of series.

Yeah, Basket Case is a minor classic primarily because it was made for about $500 and looks like it was filmed on wet cardboard, its also worth watching for the laughably bad stop-motion animation, but for all that it is still quite a good film. Also, the 2 sequels are surprisingly good as well because they had more money to make the films.
thats what we were told, MAYBE we'll do the sequels for this one; I just dont want them to kill the charm this one had/has.
