Even the videos some of the, make to illustrate their teachings and sermon montages , only feature healthy, beautiful young people….it’ reminds me of how commercials used to be on TV (back when I had a TV)
I experienced the conviction of the Holy Spirit on my homosexual lifestyle and marriage about a month ago. I’ve since made peace with my ex-husband, told him that I’ll forever be his best friend, and I’ve never felt happier. I will say though, that it was the hardest thing I’ve ever done. We’ve been together for almost 10 years and have been through A LOT together But that conviction of the Holy Spirit (which I prayed for that morning) was so overwhelming. I was bawling my eyes out as God opened my eyes to my sin that I could no longer justify. I’ve died to my fleshly desires and have been born again free of my sin… all within the past month. I started reading my Bible every single day and literally all I can think about now is Jesus Christ and his sacrifice so that I could be set free. God can do ANYTHING, we just have to genuinely put our trust and faith in him, surrender our lives to him, and we will be changed. Amen.

I am getting so much from this conversation. I’m not homosexual, but I am a therapist and this helps affirm how loving honesty is. The world has influenced so many people to believe love is just blindly accepting a persons sin. And it’s not. Clearly
I love this - three persons, formerly gay identified, coming from such diverse backgrounds, now born again, speaking truth and meeting under name of Jesus - sharing wisdom in such an edifying manner - PROOF OF THE GOSPEL right there!
I do not necessarily want to speak about homosexuality. The only thing I know is my life feels like a torture chamber of guilt and misery in Las Vegas, Nevada and America. I do not like being around my parents and other relatives. It is as if some entity, or something that has a lot of control over my life wants me psychologically destroyed, and uses my relatives to do it. I only hear about their success, financially and professionally, while I made to feel guilty and like a failure. The pet dog of my parents only barks angrily, and only barks at all when I am around them. When I am alone with the dog, like in their house, it never barks at me. It stays very quiet. Can someone get me away from these people? I am exacerbated with hearing they are the manifestation of moral perfection on Earth with perfect judgement. Am I being tested for envy, jealousy or deception. I never like being around these people, not my parents, not my sister, not her husband, not my nephews. My role in life seems to be to hear how they are perfect people, and I am just tortured with failure and guilt. I wish I did not have to be around them for Christmas. It is just a torture chamber of guilt and inferiority for me. However I earn money, I do not want to be near them. I find it hard to believe in Jesus because it seems like my parents do view themselves as the manifestation of perfection on Earth with perfect judgement. It is just misery and emotional torture being around these people, being around my sister, nephews and the brother in law. It is like a torture chamber of guilt. If I have to feel such intense guilt.. I wish someone could be fair and tell me the daily tasks of those earning money by working from their house and apartment. Just please get me away from Bonnie and Terry Tipton. I have some money in a bank account. I have enough money to pay for a haircut. The woman who cuts my hair can make me feel so pitiable I avoid getting a haircut. My shoes have worn out. A mysteriously large hole appeared in the bottom of the right shoe about a year so ago. The buttons for my parents are starting to fall off. This is really bad. I have lived with my parents in Las Vegas since 2021, not that I wanted to. My life has become a nightmare of financial inferiority, and people making me feel unqualified to do much of anything. I completed a BS in mechanical engineering from the University of Arizona in 1995 and an MBA from the University of Phoenix in 2001. I was in the U.S, Navy from 1995-2001, when most Americans had a negative view of homosexual behavior. That is not the most important thing to me. I worked in fast food as a teenager, and I think I went to college to get out of it.
This issue is rather simple. It is a sin to lie. Calling people something they are not is a lie. It harms everyone involved. Lies spread confusion and god is never confusing.
I can’t see it that black and white. If I meet someone and don’t know what biological gender they are and they say use “blem” as my pronoun, how is it a lie to say a nonsense word to refer to them? In no way would I be saying they actually ARE a “blem.” And what if they ask for ‘he’ or ‘she’ and you aren’t sure what biological gender the person is? How could you prove what gender they truly are? Do you have to ask for DNA or a birth certificate for everyone before using a pronoun? Are nicknames lies, too? What about a person in a play? Are they lying when they say their lines? In no way would I say that a person living like the opposite gender actually is that gender. But I don’t see a pronoun as saying that. I’m not going to call a man a woman but if he is living like a woman and says call me “she,” I don’t see it as the same thing. (Honestly, I’d rather avoid pronouns altogether in a situation like that.) I did like your comment. I don’t disagree with it. I am confused, and the way gender is handled in our culture is confusing. It isn’t a reflection of God because God is not a God of confusion.
@@Andreamom001 if someone deceives me that is on them. If I know the truth and speak otherwise that is on me. I had a disciplinary meeting at an old job because I wouldn’t use preferred pronouns, opting to avoid them for certain people and just referred to those people by their names. I had to agree to stop using anyone’s pronouns because this was seen as discrimination. Several years later I ran into one of these trans coworkers who is back to identifying as a woman and is seriously traumatized by the unnecessary medical interventions and misogyny that led to her decision to “transition”. Thank god I never called her a “he”.
I've been guilty of this and definitely had to repent! I was so lukewarm that I thought some of the LG agenda was a-okay and there was a misunderstanding somewhere. I felt a stirring to ask God about the truth, and He led me to the answers. He is absolutely good!

Thank you so much for this episode. My friend's son is transitioning now, and this convicting conversation between you Becket, Rosario and Chris gives insightful testimony of gospel truth and honesty that is so hard to find in the Christian community today. When so called psycholigists and counselors are telling parents their children will commit suicide if they don't allow them to transition, that is the cruelest, most unloving thing they can do. It's literal torture for those parents to allow the child they love to medically and often permanently change their bodies in ways they'll never be able to take back. I'll be sending this episode to her and pray that it will provide some comfort and strength for her and her husband💓🙏..
Jordan Peterson talks about the trauma that parents go through when their kids want to transition. He said their feelings of anxiety and trauma are just absolutely ignored and treated like nothing, which is something the same psychologists and doctors would never ever do to a kid who wanted to transition. They wouldn’t even advise them to get counseling first and make sure that’s what they wanted, and instead they just push them into doing it right away. Altering their bodies through hormones, girls removing their breasts, etc.
Sometimes, even among self-identifying Christians, I feel alone in the convictions that have been formed in me by reading God's Word. I am enCOURAGEd to listen in on your conversation which conveys such clear thinking and alignment with God's character and gospel. Truth and love are inseparable, and the three of you live out and display both beautifully. Thank you for truly loving your neighbor.
I feel the same. I know I heard God telling me the phrase “fruit of repentance “ regarding my former pastors son and his partner attending the church for 6 months without counsel or fruit of repentance . I have my sister and 3 friends (4 if you count one’s boyfriend) that I can talk with about all of this mess in the church.. but so many either push it under the rug or have the watered down Grace and love they talk about.. I want so badly to be part of a body that cares enough to talk about sin and repentance and hold one another accountable to that.

I'm a Mennonite from Canada, and am absolutely heartbroken over the foolishness of the Canadian Mennonite Church and their obsessive stance on 'inclusivity', crt, indigenous land ownership ... It's so out of hand. Literally obsessive. They don't even preach biblical messages anymore. It's all just inclusive stuff mixed with white guilt. ... Several churches have left the affiliation, ours included. I'm devastated that the group of wonderful Believers that were part of the conference Mennonite church who stood firmly in biblical values, have fallen into this trap. Please keep up the fight. I don't even know how to respond anymore. 💔
Hang in there dear our Lord will guide you through as you continue to seek His truth in this heartbreaking time. Lots of Mennonite mummy bloggers at the moment which I don’t think is wise. I watched them for awhile but came to see it may be a trap from the enemy and have pulled away. We have to fight the good fight of faith and whilst we work out our salvation we realise what that means.
You need to leave the Church, or speak out loudly against Socialism becoming their new God until you get removed from the Church. Persecution for the truth is a good thing. You are responsible first and foremost to stand for Biblical truth, not social and/or economical leanings of the modern day. In 10 years the church will need to pivot when the world does (it's pointing towards inclusivity of pedo's next).

God help us to find that balance between truth and love, and yes, it's so much easier to choose "love". Inversely, with the Pride marches across our country have made me despair over our country. I don’t even know what it means to be an American anymore. I say this as a believer and I have great compassion for LBGTQ people through the lens of Christ, yet losing our moral compass makes me very sad. Enter your ministries. What a joy your lives are. As Paul said, “…and such were some of you…but you have redeemed, washed…etc.”

Our oldest son is currently trying to live life as a woman. He renounced God and things went downhill from there. We told him we love him, he is always welcome home, but we cannot lie to him and fulfill his demands (yes, he has demanded) to call him wrong things. He has ceased all contact - for now. But God.... it's going to change!
my younger sis is lesbian dating a married woman now and told my christian mom thru my older sister who also supports my gay sister (btw my mom has never rejected her) she doesn't want anything to do ever with my 87 year old mom and never see her again. my mom cried and I cry for my mom...the hurt, the disdain, hatred...so sad
I’m dealing with this same exact thing. Praying for you to stand strong. My sister is dealing with this but her daughter who has scheduled surgery for next week for her breasts removal lashes out horribly with such vile retorts and blame. (Satan lies) she says she was prompted to send one message John 3:16 to our children then do not contact them and let God take care of it through prayer. My son like yours has no contact with me. But I sent the gospel to him one last time so that one day when God calls him back he will know there was truth told.

Thank you Becket, Rosaria and Christopher! I really loved Leviticus 19:17b "..Rebuke your neighbor frankly so you will not share in their guilt."!!!! Just last week I had to tell my teenaged grandson, 'look, I'm not going to call your girlfriend by her made up name. I'm going to call her by her given name.' He immediately said "that's a dead name" and I said "No, it is not! It is her birth name and her legal name!" then I paused and said "Remember this. If your 'partner' is going to have a major problem with my insistence in telling the truth, don't bring her around me, because I will not bow the knee to a lie." This is important stuff. He's at an age when he is surrounded by this, and I understand that. He's also at an age where everyone older than he is is "wrong". I understand that. But he will grow out of it eventually, and I want him to either remember "Hey, Grandma will tell me the TRUTH" or if I'm gone to be with the LORD by then "Hey, my Grandma always told me the TRUTH". What, indeed, do any of us need with more liars!? I'll be quoting this podcast round table for a while. Packed full of truth and reality. Praise God that in His mercy He did not JUST pardon us, but He SAVED us from our sin. And we all look forward to being saved from it permanently and eternally in the next life! oh that was really good. yes, be the one that told the truth. i am going to share that scripture. we were just talking about loving thy neighbor and some think it means LOVING ( accepting, legitimizing ) THIER SINS and that's how you " love " them. but this scripture is how you can love them. I find great joy in Repentances … to spend time in the presence of God is my favorite place to be. So repentance leads me to the cross, where I have felt hope and joy in his forgiveness. I so desire to bring glory to God through my life that it brings peace and joy to repent so I know he will be glorified more, and I don’t have to sin intentionally to repent every day. My relationship is deeper so every day there’s more I need to clean out of my life. Glory be to God he is good and his mercy are new every morning.
Becket - you are convicting (in a good way) with your podcast, testimony and your guests and their testimonies. I pray I have the boldness to speak on these subjects with my extended family and friends’ children, speaking His Word and loving them but also standing for God and praying for them so they may come out of darkness and into His light!!!

Yes! My daughter who is in a same sex relationship was in tears after attending a Christian wedding. She kept trying to tell me that she had PTSD from going into a church for the first time in a few years. I tried, to no avail, to tell her that actually that is not what true PTSD is. . . I really think she was being convicted by the Holy Spirit.
lol ptsd is a medical disorder from trauma and being abused. it is a set of symptoms that involve a lot of mentally disruptive things like flashbacks, shortness of breath, reliving and reacting to a traumatic experience as if it were happening, impulses as if you were still in the trauma, psychomotor acceleration ( driving 90 mph because you are agitated etc), extreme fatigue, inability to concentrate, and other pathological symptoms. Very common among battered women, other abused people, including sexual abuse; those who had terrible injuries , combat vets, etc. What were you thinking it was? remembering / repenting past sins is more like remorse , grieving your past, bad memories etc. People certainly are victimized by all of that and need healed from all such things, by God.
PTSD is a very real condition. I hope what you're trying to say is that some of these people are loosely using the term incorrectly. Because real PTSD is no joke.

Have had to say things like, “how can I ask God to continue to strive with my confused child, deliver her; and then turn around and affirm pronouns?” So much confusion in the Body about how to handle this because the church has enabled fence riders! If we can not full on choose to follow Christ, but choose to ride down the middle, then we have lost our saltiness and have now become something to be trampled on! Discernment!

From Hollywood to DC to Arts and Entertainment, those that are homosexual are not going away by mere academic conversation. Take this "platform" Internationally. But will take courage to address other ills in this culture, nation and World. There is a noted Columbia Doctor now accused of sexually assaulting his patients! Is that the result of "Woke Culture"? Of course not, but sin is the culprit - so address that. Here we have a man that escaped punishment due to his privilege AND one of the 7 Deadly Sins! The focus should include this topic but the myopia of a nation that never addresses the origin of sin should receive the same attention. Raise these children better, hold your friends accountable, challenge racism and hypocrisy. GOD is won't be mocked as we address certain sin but allow countless issues to go unaddressed. We celebrate greed in so many forms and placate major issues like poverty - War - false narratives. Homosexuality is surely GODs issue to reform!

I prayed for this answer this morning and God inserted this video into my algorithm. Wow! God is so good. (I have a 17 yr old daughter "Christina Victorya"- meaning Christ is Victorious, is what I named her). Now she is demanding I call her a name she gave herself and my "son". I've been dealing with this for a little over a year. My 2 adult daughters are affirming her and I am being labeled as a villain. Its the hardest thing I've dealt with as a mother. I needed to hear that my love will not save her. I have been going through spiritual warfare within myself over this and I needed this confirmation. Thank you! I keep praying that Christ be Victorious through her testimony one day. ❤
Dr. Christopher I too was a "gay Christian" til God delivered me back in 2017 from the lifestyle. And as you said we can't just love but we must speak the truth in love as it says in Ephesians 4:15. The truth hurts sometimes and we need the truth to grow in every way to be more like Jesus.
Speaking of movies…My husband and I were watching “Otto” with Tom Hanks, and of course the scriptwriters JUST HAD TO work in an angle involving a trans youth whose mean parents didn’t support his coming out as trans, and who sought refuge with Otto. We abandoned the movie at that point.
Watching this interview, I couldn't help but harken back to Becket's video, "A Mother's Prayer for Her Gay Son." Your Mom never approved of your sexuality, but at the same time, she never stopped loving her son; to the point of creating a special prayer, just for you! That is true love. How many gay people will never leave the "lifestyle," because their parent's embraced every aspect of their children's sexual sin. This was an excellent interview.
When you genuinely love someone...you love them enough to NOT ignore their self harming behavior. Supporting a fellow human does not mean supporting their sinful behavior.
The path is getting narrower and narrower 😢. It feels like if we don’t hold on tight to the truth we may slip like so many Christians are doing it already. But like Jesus said “ father I don’t ask you to take them out of the world but to keep them from evil one “ John 17:15. When Jesus prayed for his disciples and for the future believers that are us!! I go to my 4evr fam with Jesus things bc my family does not get it. They are shepherd's for the devil. PTSD, triggering, toxic, trauma, harmful... I'm SO OVER these words. There are actual legit people that have these issues but they are buzz words now. Loving that you are saying this about harm and PTSD! A ped-o-file christian. You're kind... 24 hours, I got 24 seconds. I had a ladies "Bible study" group that asked about friends... I told them they were not my friends, they freaked out! But I told them I never hear from y'all except here on this day only, they were devastated and shocked. But it's true.
Next Wednesday I have to give a teaching about Biblical relationship in my church (where I am elder). And why we keep the traditional view. And in my preparation, I saw this video past by . And I remember how touched I was by the previous interview between Rosaria and you. (I think I watched it 3 times and sent the video to several people to watch). Thnxz for uploading and sharing. “Love is a transitive verb- the object of your love will determine the integrity of your love.” 🤯🤯🤯 BRILLIANT! I orally and utterly decimates that wicked and manipulative mantra of “Love is Love”. This conversation is of such vital importance. We must must MUST use Scriptural language when discussing spiritual matters. We recently found out that our 25 yr old daughter is gay. I’ve had suspicions for a while, but was hoping and praying I was wrong. Anyway, her dad had a long hard talk with her one on one and then I did a couple of weeks ago. We both told her that we loved her but did not agree with that lifestyle. I told her the Bible does teach that it’s not ok, but right now she is not receptive to hear that, so I did not press. She was afraid we would not love her if she told us, and I told her there is nothing she could do that would prevent us from loving her. I told her that in this culture we have that I AM scared of being “disowned “ or shunned by her, but that I would never lie to her, which I feel so many do just so they won’t be abandoned or shunned. She has her first girlfriend and I’m not sure what to do about that. I don’t want to be unloving towards her, but I don’t want to seem supportive either. This is so tough. I’ve been praying so much, it’s such a burden to bear, but I know God will help me through. It’s just tough .

In my church I lead the Spiritual Growth Team on which our pastors and lay leaders sit. I am always amazed how easily the lay leaders have been deceived at times about these social contracts. I experienced the conviction of the Holy Spirit on my homosexual lifestyle and marriage about a month ago. I’ve since made peace with my ex-husband, told him that I’ll forever be his best friend, and I’ve never felt happier. I will say though, that it was the hardest thing I’ve ever done. We’ve been together for almost 10 years and have been through A LOT together
But that conviction of the Holy Spirit (which I prayed for that morning) was so overwhelming. I was bawling my eyes out as God opened my eyes to my sin that I could no longer justify. I’ve died to my fleshly desires and have been born again free of my sin… all within the past month.
I started reading my Bible every single day and literally all I can think about now is Jesus Christ and his sacrifice so that I could be set free.
God can do ANYTHING, we just have to genuinely put our trust and faith in him, surrender our lives to him, and we will be changed.

I do not necessarily want to speak about homosexuality. The only thing I know is my life feels like a torture chamber of guilt and misery in Las Vegas, Nevada and America. I do not like being around my parents and other relatives. It is as if some entity, or something that has a lot of control over my life wants me psychologically destroyed, and uses my relatives to do it. I only hear about their success, financially and professionally, while I made to feel guilty and like a failure. The pet dog of my parents only barks angrily, and only barks at all when I am around them. When I am alone with the dog, like in their house, it never barks at me. It stays very quiet. Can someone get me away from these people? I am exacerbated with hearing they are the manifestation of moral perfection on Earth with perfect judgement. Am I being tested for envy, jealousy or deception. I never like being around these people, not my parents, not my sister, not her husband, not my nephews. My role in life seems to be to hear how they are perfect people, and I am just tortured with failure and guilt. I wish I did not have to be around them for Christmas. It is just a torture chamber of guilt and inferiority for me. However I earn money, I do not want to be near them. I find it hard to believe in Jesus because it seems like my parents do view themselves as the manifestation of perfection on Earth with perfect judgement. It is just misery and emotional torture being around these people, being around my sister, nephews and the brother in law. It is like a torture chamber of guilt. If I have to feel such intense guilt.. I wish someone could be fair and tell me the daily tasks of those earning money by working from their house and apartment. Just please get me away from Bonnie and Terry Tipton. I have some money in a bank account. I have enough money to pay for a haircut. The woman who cuts my hair can make me feel so pitiable I avoid getting a haircut. My shoes have worn out. A mysteriously large hole appeared in the bottom of the right shoe about a year so ago. The buttons for my parents are starting to fall off. This is really bad. I have lived with my parents in Las Vegas since 2021, not that I wanted to. My life has become a nightmare of financial inferiority, and people making me feel unqualified to do much of anything. I completed a BS in mechanical engineering from the University of Arizona in 1995 and an MBA from the University of Phoenix in 2001. I was in the U.S, Navy from 1995-2001, when most Americans had a negative view of homosexual behavior. That is not the most important thing to me. I worked in fast food as a teenager, and I think I went to college to get out of it.
This issue is rather simple. It is a sin to lie. Calling people something they are not is a lie. It harms everyone involved. Lies spread confusion and god is never confusing.

I can’t see it that black and white. If I meet someone and don’t know what biological gender they are and they say use “blem” as my pronoun, how is it a lie to say a nonsense word to refer to them? In no way would I be saying they actually ARE a “blem.”
And what if they ask for ‘he’ or ‘she’ and you aren’t sure what biological gender the person is? How could you prove what gender they truly are?
Do you have to ask for DNA or a birth certificate for everyone before using a pronoun?
Are nicknames lies, too? What about a person in a play? Are they lying when they say their lines?
In no way would I say that a person living like the opposite gender actually is that gender. But I don’t see a pronoun as saying that. I’m not going to call a man a woman but if he is living like a woman and says call me “she,” I don’t see it as the same thing.
(Honestly, I’d rather avoid pronouns altogether in a situation like that.)

I had a disciplinary meeting at an old job because I wouldn’t use preferred pronouns, opting to avoid them for certain people and just referred to those people by their names. I had to agree to stop using anyone’s pronouns because this was seen as discrimination.
Several years later I ran into one of these trans coworkers who is back to identifying as a woman and is seriously traumatized by the unnecessary medical interventions and misogyny that led to her decision to “transition”. Thank god I never called her a “he”.
I've been guilty of this and definitely had to repent! I was so lukewarm that I thought some of the LG agenda was a-okay and there was a misunderstanding somewhere.
I felt a stirring to ask God about the truth, and He led me to the answers. He is absolutely good!

My friend's son is transitioning now, and this convicting conversation between you Becket, Rosario and Chris gives insightful testimony of gospel truth and honesty that is so hard to find in the Christian community today. When so called psycholigists and counselors are telling parents their children will commit suicide if they don't allow them to transition, that is the cruelest, most unloving thing they can do. It's literal torture for those parents to allow the child they love to medically and often permanently change their bodies in ways they'll never be able to take back. I'll be sending this episode to her and pray that it will provide some comfort and strength for her and her husband💓🙏..

Jordan Peterson talks about the trauma that parents go through when their kids want to transition. He said their feelings of anxiety and trauma are just absolutely ignored and treated like nothing, which is something the same psychologists and doctors would never ever do to a kid who wanted to transition. They wouldn’t even advise them to get counseling first and make sure that’s what they wanted, and instead they just push them into doing it right away. Altering their bodies through hormones, girls removing their breasts, etc.
My take away from this whole thing is definitely “We need to start loving our enemies, not pretending that our enemies are our friends”
Sometimes, even among self-identifying Christians, I feel alone in the convictions that have been formed in me by reading God's Word. I am enCOURAGEd to listen in on your conversation which conveys such clear thinking and alignment with God's character and gospel. Truth and love are inseparable, and the three of you live out and display both beautifully. Thank you for truly loving your neighbor.
I feel the same. I know I heard God telling me the phrase “fruit of repentance “ regarding my former pastors son and his partner attending the church for 6 months without counsel or fruit of repentance . I have my sister and 3 friends (4 if you count one’s boyfriend) that I can talk with about all of this mess in the church.. but so many either push it under the rug or have the watered down Grace and love they talk about.. I want so badly to be part of a body that cares enough to talk about sin and repentance and hold one another accountable to that.

Hang in there dear our Lord will guide you through as you continue to seek His truth in this heartbreaking time. Lots of Mennonite mummy bloggers at the moment which I don’t think is wise. I watched them for awhile but came to see it may be a trap from the enemy and have pulled away. We have to fight the good fight of faith and whilst we work out our salvation we realise what that means.
You need to leave the Church, or speak out loudly against Socialism becoming their new God until you get removed from the Church. Persecution for the truth is a good thing. My sister is a Christian and she still thinks it okay 😢 I’m saddened by this and also the focus of race has been extremely prominent discussion and my views don’t align with theirs anymore 😢 yeah I know I’m going to have to speak up soon especially next month again pray for me y’all .
I love the way these 3 bright people speak respectfully together without interrupting each other. Plenty of truths, too. God help us to find that balance between truth and love, and yes, it's so much easier to choose "love". I must say since I have stumbled upon Becket and Rosaria’s stories I have jumped up for joy. What glorious stories all. Inversely, with the Pride marches across our country have made me despair over our country. I don’t even know what it means to be an American anymore. I say this as a believer and I have great compassion for LBGTQ people through the lens of Christ, yet losing our moral compass makes me very sad. Enter your ministries. What a joy your lives are. I would call these 3 spiritual and courageous giants.
Our oldest son is currently trying to live life as a woman. He renounced God and things went downhill from there. We told him we love him, he is always welcome home, but we cannot lie to him and fulfill his demands (yes, he has demanded) to call him wrong things. He has ceased all contact - for now. But God.... it's going to change!
my younger sis is lesbian dating a married woman now and told my christian mom thru my older sister who also supports my gay sister (btw my mom has never rejected her) she doesn't want anything to do ever with my 87 year old mom and never see her again. my mom cried and I cry for my mom...the hurt, the disdain, hatred...so sad

I’m dealing with this same exact thing. Praying for you to stand strong. My sister is dealing with this but her daughter who has scheduled surgery for next week for her breasts removal lashes out horribly with such vile retorts and blame. (Satan lies) she says she was prompted to send one message John 3:16 to our children then do not contact them and let God take care of it through prayer. My son like yours has no contact with me. But I sent the gospel to him one last time so that one day when God calls him back he will know there was truth told.

Just last week I had to tell my teenaged grandson, 'look, I'm not going to call your girlfriend by her made up name. I'm going to call her by her given name.' He immediately said "that's a dead name" and I said "No, it is not! It is her birth name and her legal name!" then I paused and said "Remember this. If your 'partner' is going to have a major problem with my insistence in telling the truth, don't bring her around me, because I will not bow the knee to a lie." This is important stuff. He's at an age when he is surrounded by this, and I understand that. He's also at an age where everyone older than he is is "wrong". I understand that. But he will grow out of it eventually, and I want him to either remember "Hey, Grandma will tell me the TRUTH" or if I'm gone to be with the LORD by then "Hey, my Grandma always told me the TRUTH". What, indeed, do any of us need with more liars!? I'll be quoting this podcast round table for a while. Packed full of truth and reality. Praise God that in His mercy He did not JUST pardon us, but He SAVED us from our sin. And we all look forward to being saved from it permanently and eternally in the next life! oh that was really good. yes, be the one that told the truth. i am going to share that scripture. we were just talking about loving thy neighbor and some think it means LOVING ( accepting, legitimizing ) THIER SINS and that's how you " love " them. but this scripture is how you can love them. I find great joy in Repentances … to spend time in the presence of God is my favorite place to be. So repentance leads me to the cross, where I have felt hope and joy in his forgiveness. I so desire to bring glory to God through my life that it brings peace and joy to repent so I know he will be glorified more, and I don’t have to sin intentionally to repent every day. My relationship is deeper so every day there’s more I need to clean out of my life. Glory be to God he is good and his mercy are new every morning.

Thank you for speaking about "PTSD" as being what I always understood as old fashioned conviction.
Yes! My daughter who is in a same sex relationship was in tears after attending a Christian wedding. She kept trying to tell me that she had PTSD from going into a church for the first time in a few years. I tried, to no avail, to tell her that actually that is not what true PTSD is. . . I really think she was being convicted by the Holy Spirit.
lol ptsd is a medical disorder from trauma and being abused. it is a set of symptoms that involve a lot of mentally disruptive things like flashbacks, shortness of breath, reliving and reacting to a traumatic experience as if it were happening, impulses as if you were still in the trauma, psychomotor acceleration ( driving 90 mph because you are agitated etc), extreme fatigue, inability to concentrate, and other pathological symptoms. Very common among battered women, other abused people, including sexual abuse; those who had terrible injuries , combat vets, etc.
What were you thinking it was? remembering / repenting past sins is more like remorse , grieving your past, bad memories etc. People certainly are victimized by all of that and need healed from all such things, by God.
PTSD is a very real condition. I hope what you're trying to say is that some of these people are loosely using the term incorrectly. Because real PTSD is no joke.

Have had to say things like, “how can I ask God to continue to strive with my confused child, deliver her; and then turn around and affirm pronouns?”
So much confusion in the Body about how to handle this because the church has enabled fence riders! If we can not full on choose to follow Christ, but choose to ride down the middle, then we have lost our saltiness and have now become something to be trampled on!

From Hollywood to DC to Arts and Entertainment, those that are homosexual are not going away by mere academic conversation. Take this "platform" Internationally. But will take courage to address other ills in this culture, nation and World. There is a noted Columbia Doctor now accused of sexually assaulting his patients! Is that the result of "Woke Culture"? Of course not, but sin is the culprit - so address that. Here we have a man that escaped punishment due to his privilege AND one of the 7 Deadly Sins! The focus should include this topic but the myopia of a nation that never addresses the origin of sin should receive the same attention. Raise these children better, hold your friends accountable, challenge racism and hypocrisy. GOD is won't be mocked as we address certain sin but allow countless issues to go unaddressed. We celebrate greed in so many forms and placate major issues like poverty - War - false narratives. Homosexuality is surely GODs issue to reform!

I prayed for this answer this morning and God inserted this video into my algorithm. Wow! God is so good. (I have a 17 yr old daughter "Christina Victorya"- meaning Christ is Victorious, is what I named her). Now she is demanding I call her a name she gave herself and my "son". I've been dealing with this for a little over a year. My 2 adult daughters are affirming her and I am being labeled as a villain. Its the hardest thing I've dealt with as a mother. I needed to hear that my love will not save her. I have been going through spiritual warfare within myself over this and I needed this confirmation. Thank you!
I keep praying that Christ be Victorious through her testimony one day. ❤
Dr. Christopher I too was a "gay Christian" til God delivered me back in 2017 from the lifestyle. And as you said we can't just love but we must speak the truth in love as it says in Ephesians 4:15. The truth hurts sometimes and we need the truth to grow in every way to be more like Jesus.
I was also a "gay Christian" till April 2017 when I was born again by God's mercy and grace!

Speaking of movies…My husband and I were watching “Otto” with Tom Hanks, and of course the scriptwriters JUST HAD TO work in an angle involving a trans youth whose mean parents didn’t support his coming out as trans, and who sought refuge with Otto. We abandoned the movie at that point.
Hollywood has an agenda. I stay well clear.

Watching this interview, I couldn't help but harken back to Becket's video, "A Mother's Prayer for Her Gay Son." Your Mom never approved of your sexuality, but at the same time, she never stopped loving her son; to the point of creating a special prayer, just for you! That is true love. How many gay people will never leave the "lifestyle," because their parent's embraced every aspect of their children's sexual sin. This was an excellent interview.

The path is getting narrower and narrower 😢. It feels like if we don’t hold on tight to the truth we may slip like so many Christians are doing it already. But like Jesus said “ father I don’t ask you to take them out of the world but to keep them from evil one “ John 17:15. When Jesus prayed for his disciples and for the future believers that are us!! This prayer always brings tears to my eyes.

I was so angry after our conversation. I had to tell her later to NEVER be that person to me! TELL me I'm WRONG! Having to wait 2 more weeks to get the rest of this... 😫😫😫 Have not watched TV since Jan 2021. No social media except this... It's been SO FREEING! Would love to be friends with y'all! I go to my 4evr fam with Jesus things bc my family does not get it. They are shepherd's for the devil. PTSD, triggering, toxic, trauma, harmful... I'm SO OVER these words. There are actual legit people that have these issues but they are buzz words now. Loving that you are saying this about harm and PTSD! A ped-o-file christian. You're kind... 24 hours, I got 24 seconds. I had a ladies "Bible study" group that asked about friends... I told them they were not my friends, they freaked out! But I told them I never hear from y'all except here on this day only, they were devastated and shocked. But it's true.

“Love is a transitive verb- the object of your love will determine the integrity of your love.” 🤯🤯🤯 BRILLIANT! I orally and utterly decimates that wicked and manipulative mantra of “Love is Love”.
This conversation is of such vital importance. We must must MUST use Scriptural language when discussing spiritual matters. We cannot fall into the usage of worldly terms and definitions because they are meant to confuse, distort, and deceive.

We recently found out that our 25 yr old daughter is gay. I’ve had suspicions for a while, but was hoping and praying I was wrong. Anyway, her dad had a long hard talk with her one on one and then I did a couple of weeks ago. We both told her that we loved her but did not agree with that lifestyle. I told her the Bible does teach that it’s not ok, but right now she is not receptive to hear that, so I did not press. She was afraid we would not love her if she told us, and I told her there is nothing she could do that would prevent us from loving her. I told her that in this culture we have that I AM scared of being “disowned “ or shunned by her, but that I would never lie to her, which I feel so many do just so they won’t be abandoned or shunned. She has her first girlfriend and I’m not sure what to do about that. I don’t want to be unloving towards her, but I don’t want to seem supportive either. This is so tough. I’ve been praying so much, it’s such a burden to bear, but I know God will help me through. It’s just tough .
I was having a discussion with our pastor this week about this very topic! Thank you to all 3 of you for this session! I am listening for the 3rd time and am still finding gems all through this discussion!

Thank you all so much for willing share your life story and defend the gospel. it helps me in my own life to clearly defend my faith in Christ. In my church I lead the Spiritual Growth Team on which our pastors and lay leaders sit. I am always amazed how easily the lay leaders have been deceived at times about these social contracts. I am so grateful for a pastor who preaches the Word of God and the whole gospel.
