Falchion crystal ball is a bit too slow for me and it has sour spots up close. In the first fight the only reason I beat that guy is cause he had a weapon with a sour spot and I forced him to limb hit me for almost no damage. And I rather up close start with staff cause the starting Crystal is mid
could also pair the perk with bloodstain blade and it mitigate the hp loss for swinging

Why use the staff vs a falc and crystal ball? Wouldn't it be faster casting with the crystal ball as well as higher melee damage including with BoC?
