He has that relentless drumming style while still being able to keep things simple and groovy if the song demands it . He reminds me of Ben Koller from Converge, and that's says a lot about his talent ^^
There were a few recording issues with this performance so we have posted a shorter version of the bands set, with these issues removed. We hope you enjoy!
1) Wherever You Are 0:00 2) The Killing Womb 3:03 3) Lights Out 5:30 4) Wavery 7:00 5) Doomtech 11:47 6) Untitled 16:27 7) Old Data In A Dead Machine 17:33 8) Progenitor 20:11
It was AOTY for me. Fleshwater's LP comes right behind it. TWIGTRY was a much more mature and experimental record which only gets better the more you listen to it. This record feels like everything they were building towards in terms of sound and aesthetic. Plus, they brought in some of their fav artists for features. As a whole, I think it is a more complete album than Errorzone but if I just want something to motivate me at the gym, I usually go with Errorzone. It's been clear from the beginning that vein is not the kind of band to change or commercialize their sound just to appeal to the mainstream. I think that's why they are so respected. I also feel like their music will age much better than some of the hardcore bands who are bigger these days.
In my opinion they shouldn’t play the slower songs off that record live though, I remember seeing like half the stage dived for a couple of the new songs
im just gonna be real and i know this will be the least popular comment/opinion but growing up on anything from Pantera, White Zombie, Slipknot, Sepultura, Death, Metallica, Megadeth, Mastodon, Deftones, Tool, early Korn, early Limp Bizkit, early SOAD , Alice In Chains, Stoned Temple Pilots, Soundgarden, ZZ Top, Steely Dan, Rush, Pink Floyd, Skynyrd, Allman Bros, Molly Hatchet, Outlaws, Van Halen, Motley Crue this is eveything i ever wanted from groove to heaviness from pain to emotion/energy.
@@TyroneMcDonalds That is probably the biggest problem they have, his vocals are mostly just screaming with really no breaks. Plus he just jumps on a stage like a mad man, is constantly being jumped by other people and stuff. You can tell he goes pedal to the metal but one hour set would probably put him down lol.
music is relative and some people find love in the simplest music. This band generates incredible emotion, and they're doing some awesome experimental shit too

Matt Wood is an absolute G on the kit

The sharpest blade in the genre. These guys have something truly special.
Even after 3 days of watching hardcore bands this still felt like an outer body experience. Truly in a league of their own
nothing but love & respect for my dudes in vein
These guys are low key evolving the genre, incredible sound!
these dudes go hard cant wait to see them on the city morgue tour

Were any songs left out? Still sounds great like the rest of the sets have!
@@thejam1212They would’nt open with that song. Probably opened with Welcome Home, followed by Rebirth Protocol.
Welcome Home, Rebirth Protocol, Ideation: Self Destruct and Hellnight were first four songs (presumably cut) before Wherever You Are starts the video

16:27 is Untitled, guest vocals by Jeremy from Touché Amoré
love you
Progenitor is just my favorite song to see them perform
always goes the craziest too. i rewatch their 2017 TIHC set all the time especially for that part.
@17:45 Absolute chaos, dudes in beanies losing their shit, cartwheels into the crowd, tits flying, wrestling moves
Meanwhile anthony is loving every second of it
favorite band❤❤❤❤
This is by far the best looking Vein set
Insane Band = Insane Show 🔥❤🔥
People really slept on TWIGTRY and it makes me sad.
I agree it's really underrated af! doesn't top errorzone for me personally that record is my favorite hardcore record of the past 10 years
True, it was #1 on my AOTY list last year. I think it’s equally as good as Errorzone

Definitely a top hardcore album.

bro said "this song goes out to all the enemies. fuck em."
best hc band in my opinion
Up there with Gods Hate, Gulch (RIP), Hatebreed, and Terror
This is the perfect hardcore show. The energy is unlike anything I’ve seen before in this. They should be proud as fuck
goes absolutely hard
These guys know the deal. Better listen up. Cheers from Ohio 2023. Great stuff
Finally❤❤❤
Found out about this band 20 mins ago
fuck yeah
hell yeah
Been missing our brother. Enjoy!
I hade this band in my taxi in las Vegas.
What band, you mean you hade , Juggling Taxi . What music did i play ?
I was there all weekend and had to miss this set. So fucking gutted.
i wish they played error zone more often
def their best song
god i want to see them live
Finally ❤
I was in this pit, I didn’t realise during progenitor the guy he was hugging was singing lmao
This was a GOOD one
wish they could be there for 2023 but hopefully fleshwater will be just as good
This is the energy early slipknot WISH they had at their shows. Holy fucking shit
Early slipknot? You mean before their third album? All early Slipknot shows we're crazy for the years 99-2002.
I'm sure they were, but nobody was going on stage
@@joshguy5221 why is that the metric for how much energy a band has lol
@@joshguy5221 They were playing massive venues with barriers, people wouldn't be getting on the stage

Untitled aka retitled 20 seconds 20 hours
20 Seconds, 20 hours was a remix of Untitled, not renamed it

Need to get a good recording of a fleshwater set
197 media did that
jeremy bolm
Seeing Jeremy on stage with them made my heart full ❤
awesome human being.
Holy shit was that Jeremy from touche amore????
WAVERY 💓🤘
crazy lol
Who is the second vocal?
FUCK! these guys got a crazy battery in em
One month update. Saw em at city Morgue in BK and I hit a 6’5 Guy with a 2 piece and almost dropped em. Picked em back up and bought him a water 😅
✊🏾
Is that Sam Hyde at 17:45? 😂
had the exact same thought lmfao
Would a set longer than 20 min kill them?😂😂😂
The longest set I seen them play was 30 minutes.
@@joshguy5221 lets get these boys some treadmills and see if we cant extend to 45 min!
I saw them play a 30 min set at ottobar in Baltimore and Anthony puked on stage at the end of the set so I guess so

Soo is this hardcore or metacore
if ur ever in ohio come jam in my backyard
ppl overrate this band way too much, i mean they are good but they are not as good as ppl are saying they are.
Literally this is top 5 bands in hxc and all I hear is negativity about them from everyone.
