Great performance of one of my favourite violin pieces.

Charming rendition of this piece! I've compared it to the Perlman version that's on UA-cam -- he's a master who squeezes juice out of every note -- but I prefer this purer version by Valiulina & Álvarez. Very sincere, and beautiful.
Congratulations to both of you! Everything about this video is amazing:) The violinist renders this piece so beautifully, I'm very impressed by all the bow techniques and the character expressed throughout the whole piece is outstanding. She's also very beautiful to watch, lots of grace.

The very last 20 bars of the Finale... Still can't get it...
The music is based on works by Pergolesi, probably the most important early composer of opera buffa. Listening to Pergolesi's works might help you understand. Stravinsky's orchestration of Bach's Vom Himmel Hoch Variations is another great example of Stravinsky expressing his admiration for a Baroque composer.
