its a very good video but please also address the drawbacks of using cloud servers and how to cope up with those issues i mean why we want to go from M2M to IoT and what are challenges....2nd relate this idea with real world communication...coffee machine example is good one but please give more practical example...if you have this type of video plz share the link..thank u
Most of the M2M devices still use a physical SIM, similar to those used in your smartphone or any mobile phone. The technology could be 2G (GSM), 3G (UMTS), 4G (LTE) and even 5G. Many of the modern M2M/IoT devices instead use only the SIM software (eUICC) so there is no physical SIM. The same technology can be used for smartwatches, smartphones, tablets, etc.
