like a year after bbrode left they kinda let loose, I wish this kind of power level existed without the super specific archetype stuff every other cardgame does nowadays instead
What I’ve run into on the ladder that I think chat is talking about- summon Zillax with reborn on 5 or 6, then dr Boom resummons both, then Hydration station summons 3. Each on has reborn and divine shield and poison and elusive so you can’t target them, so essentially your whole board dies, opponent is permanently full hp, and you’re still facing 3+ Zilliax
@Krenisphia there's no "graveyard". It would be fairly unintuitive for players without a pile to look through. It's better to think of and maybe phrase resurrection as summon a copy of a minion that died this game (it may be interesting to keep the door open for enemy minions)
The problem with the deck is that if the opponent has two board clears you lose. If you want to run a combo deck with zero pressure it has to outright win when you combo.
Day9 and this deck reminds me of a buddy of mine with this gal who could not care less about him. He really wanted to make the relationship work, but she was utterly indifferent to him and just using him. He ignored us all when we told him he should drop her. Eventually, she got tired of even putting in the bare minimum effort of pretending to care somewhat about him. That's this deck. Just let it go, Sean.
I know this is gonna blow your mind, so sit down before you read this Of course it's bad. You think he's playing hearthstone to climb with a good deck? He said it himself in the video, "the only impediment to playing hearthstone is because elden ring is out." He's just playing for fun with goofy bad things.
Is there a rank low enough for that? I tried coming back to the game recently and even at silver 10 I was facing optimized meta decks almost every game.
I wonder how well Fizzle would work in the deck - it seems to run out of threats in longer games and extra copies of minions, Hydration Station, or even a second Sandwich could be useful
maybe my favourite detail of the sandwich warrior is that 2 key cards, the beached whale and muenstrosity, their stats are 420 and 69 respectfully. Just makes it the perfect meme build really
I can't say for sure whether the sandwich will complete if you have 10 cards, but I do know you can just play a practice game against the innkeeper to find out. I could see it working both ways.
there are currently about 50 decks listed on hsreplay. on the bottom of t4 is sandwich warrior with a whopping 35% wr. granted thats every type of sandwich but still funny.
@@Amghannam thats fair. u can make a deck perectly funny or perfect the concept. its still funny. copying a funny deck is still netdecking tho. i made three decks this expo and the control lock seems pretty good without there being any archetype listed for it.
@@Amghannam I wish there were more people like you in the world. As far as I'm concerned netdecking is the antithesis of card games. 100% of the point of the game is for the deck YOU came up with, on your own, to go up against the deck I came up with, on my own, and see which one wins. When 80% of the player base is using the same 5 decks it's not possible to have fun anymore.
Not gonna lie, I was kinda hoping you'd run up against some weapon destruction. This deck is, quite literally, a nothing burger against acidic swamp ooze. Bread sandwich.
I quit playing this game back when Dr Boom was the meta include because it felt like they were driving the game towards too much RNG in card interactions. Haven’t really seen it played since. Glad to see it’s almost entirely RNG cards at this point. This game use to be good, now it looks like a card game for kids. Flashy animations, random interactions… Blizzard really is one of the laziest devs. I miss the people who made SC2. That game demanded dedication. Preparation. There is no preparing for cards pooping out random minions and spells. SMH.
man some of these opponents of Day9 are brutal - i have no idea how the guy isn't completely tilting. these decks are the reason i always play aggro on ladder, ya can't give yogg saron time to get his stuff going
insane control deck powercreep is a big reason why i stopped playing HS. I love playing slower control decks but its just no longer fun with all the bs cards and revives there are these days. old hs was so much better.
@@sethnewlin510 Cannot understand why Ryecleaver is 7 mana when it requires so many other pieces for setup that you have no room for other win conditions in the deck
@@dawnstar5294 I agree but I don't think you can fix the card with just mana cost changes. I don't think many of these games would have gone much differently if Ryecleaver was only 5 mana. Hell I don't think it would be that good at 4. The main issue is the second part of what you said in my opinion. You need so many cards to set up the Ryecleaver that by the time you're done setting up your main win condition you have no room left for anything but cards to help you stay alive long enough to play your combo. But in 2024 2 mana summon ~24 mana worth of minions isn't even that good. There are decks that just OTK you with less setup. It's not good *at all* when those are the only minions in your deck. High likelihood that your opponent has a board clear in their hand by the time you've drawn and played your entire combo.
Mostly walking highlight from Siberia: Leah formorly bill explaining drinking your own pee to the point where you pee sludge had me on the floor XD and "I took a mint" of course from Kings Quest.
I don't play this game, but this seems like one of those meme builds where the focus on food themed cards should just be paired with a silly username like "IWillPorkYou" and you make it into a bit for the stream. I just don't think there's any perfecting this deck. By the time you get your sandwich warrior assembled, you've already lost like all of your HP, or they use a card that just wipes your whole board or mind controls your strongest minion or something. While they have full HP. It's good to just have fun with it and experiment rather than go for whatever the meta cards are, though, I suppose.
Would've been nice if Blizzard gave you a chance to perfect this before it ended up in the game for 4 months. As it is, it's just taking up space, and fooling newbies into crafting cards they don't need. So, thanks for all of that.

Resurrecting is such a silly mechanic. Once a minion is res'ed once, it should be erased from the graveyard. And I've been saying this for YEARS.

my 2 cents on the Zilliax vs Muenster debate: 1 Muenster + summon kills 0 Zilliax. 1 Zilliax kills 2 Muenster + 2 Summons (+ heal 16 along the way).
