The reason why men inherit double that of women isn’t due to gender inequality-but rather due to the fact that the inheritance of man, along with his wealth, will be spent on the womenfolk in his household and his family, since that’s his responsibility. The share of a man is not his, whilst the share of the women is completely hers. That’s what the sheikh should’ve said-because I felt as tho he didn’t really explain the verse itself but tried to work around it, and Allāh knows best.

I know this is a skit but it reflects what really occurs here in the west that’s why Ramadan I have even went more Monk mode to mentally prepare myself for hijrah the behavior of progressive Muslim men & women alike drove me out

The title is VERY clickbaity and I thought it was going to be one of those videos slandering women like so many of the videos in my recommendations have been (it's very exhausting) so I skipped it. I saw a clip on Instagram and it looked like it wasn't what the title suggested so I came back to check it out and it was actually good! I think the title is misleading, but hopefully it attracts those brothers (and sometimes sisters) who are obsessed with these "Man DESTROYS hijabi woman feminist liberal..." videos and knock some sense and REAL masculinity into them

@EverythingAndroid Ois the ultimate role model for masculinity, which is the Prophet Muhammad SAW.A lot of the videos I have seen on such topics is just these men trying to be this "alpha male" and yelling and degrading women under the guise of "this is Islam!" The Prophet SAW was gentle, emotionally intelligent, and his character was not like a lot of these argumentative guys. It's sad, honestly. We all know men and women have different roles in society and in the household, but the way of delivery is horrible

@@attas8790 I understand what you are saying, maybe you are referring to Mahdi Tjidandi.
But there are others who are making clear gender roles who are men, and they are doing it well while acknowledging kindness, care, and sacrifice from both sides, while maintaining obedience of the husband and fulfilling other rights that Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) stressed. These individuals like Daniel Haqiqatjou and Mohammed Hijab I would say. You should definitely give Daniel a watch on these topics, anyway Assalamualaykum, hope this was beneficial.

As a woman, this was not helpful at all. And it is definitely not helpful for young Muslim men in the West. The video made it seem like Islamic principles are in accordance to liberal values on "equality" but that is simply false.
Men have authority over women and one of the reasons is that they are responsible for their family's well-being and security. Why are we watering this down by saying men and women have equal value in front of Allah? That goes without saying and does not need to be repeated.
What does need to be repeated is that wives must respect and obey their husbands. This conjures up images of a tyrannical husband with a doormat wife only because we have been fed the Western, liberal worldview. Reality is far more nuanced.
If Andrew Tate's popularity has taught me anything, it is that men are sick of being told they are domineering and toxic for not giving in to women's demands for "equality".

Make sure you fully understand Islamic law. Listen well to the above, The man is supposed to pay for the woman's maintenance, even if it is in Europe. Many Muslim men are happy for their wives to go out to work full-time, give them money, and leave them with pennies. Then 30 years later, he says, you did nothing. After spending a life of cleaning, cooking, washing, and working. In Islam the woman can hold the divorce, meaning she can divorce him if she wishes, but many men usually want that as well. Be prepared, for the big shift, you will leave all your family, behind. Once married, you're told, no music in the house, no pictures, toys, statues, everything. YOU HEAR THE WORDS, YOUR THE QUEEN OF THE HOUSE, YOUR LIGHT, LIGHTS UP THIS ROOM. ALL NICE WORDS. WATCH THE ACTIONS. Does he/she take you out to nice places, NOT JUST MACDONALS.

There's a reason why they are keen on professional careers cause they can't trust men to provide for them. Men now a days don't want to be provider anymore. Many Muslim men are following the example of Kafir men and abandoning their wives and children instead of protecting them. That's why Muslim women are seeking financial independence.

What does she get for herself? Beauty treatments so she can maintain herself. Material things that is within her nature. And things for the home that makes it a home. Because she is doing it herself, she has taken the burden off of you. Take a look at your mother. Wouldn't your mother want to have financial independence of her own and want nice things. Not everything has to be so horrid. And a woman does help out her husband. And just has her money us for herself, she has has to do things that she doesn't have to do, helping in laws etc. But she'll do it. Islam gave her rights before feminism. Stop trapping her like the way your mother and grandmother's were trapped. You can have rights and still be happily married fulfilling each GENDER roles. And if one cannot do that or accept that then marriage is not for you. Or go to a village where you can exert your control and hide behind traditional values.

@@HAli3291 What do u know about this man's mother? U have no idea what state his family's status is, makes ur point so invalid. Instead of making her mother of one kind, u should talk bout urself since that seems like it was personal to you. You think every woman who isnt out there working under people is trapped and opressed and the one that takes care of the family and house is trapped. Anyways u do u, but dont put falsey accuse of how one feels just for it to fit in your believes

If someone has authority over someone it doesnt mean it has to be opression. If it is then all governments should be brought down.

6:45 I'm sure the sheikh meant she's not *obligated* to spend, but missaid 'entitled', which he then clarifies by adding "unless she chooses to". In short, it's her choice. Masha'Allah, very nicely put together :)
