So i just got mine today, and im having a few problems. I made sure the right sides for the USBc were in the right slots. I'm still getting audio and latency issues. But whats even more strange is that my Capture Device reads it as a USB Video Device even though everyone i see shows it as a Elgato 4k X, so idk what im doing wrong or if i need drivers that i dont have or something, im just not sure, first time using an elgato capture card.
@@ianwinston8265 as far as when it says”capture device” you can change the name manually when you right click it and go to rename. The first part to your latency issue would be to check your sound and video settings because I had that too and I fix it on my end as well.
@@CRAZY_BLK_DUDEthe only way was to go into the game's own settings and set the audio to MONO... but not all games have this setting, they all have problems with the characters' speech, I'm going to return the card... I haven't found any solution for this ;(, I've already tested all possible settings, on PC, PS5 and OBS, nothing works.
@@fullgamingcore that’s unfortunate. I hope you can figure that out before you take your card back because it is a excellent card to use for next GEN recording or streaming.
use the chatlink pro cable and switch the audio to analog in 4k utility that's the only fix I found to work, you can also unplug the USB to reset the card or do a default reset on the 4k utility though it is a temporary fix. so stick with the chatlink pro

When I go to record a PS5 game, the characters' voices disappear, only the soundtrack remains....is there any way to solve this?
@@fullgamingcore I would check all your sound settings on your pc and whatever you’re using for recording gameplay.
