We use an empty (cleaned and dried) plastic Coke bottle with a smooth hole drilled in the lid. When you squeeze the bottle it will shoot the beads into the wet paint (address numbers)
You really didnt show us anything apart from how to paint an oblong shape using tape. I wanted to see this reflect light before I buy, but not buying as I wasnt convinced, Thanks.
Will the beads work with Angelus Leather paint? I'm painting a design on the back of my motorcycle jacket and figured I'd make it retro-reflective for added visibility at night. Also which beads would you recommend for this application?
Hello; How would it be possible to use your product (the beads) onto fabric (for logos o, tee-shirt) Would it be possible to use fabric paint (that will have to be fixed when dry, with a heat press) Thank you.
Many of our customers use the beads on fabric. Most do this via screen printing (using High Index Type 3 micro-beads or aluminized beads) You definitly can use fabric paint then sprinkle the micro-beads on while the paint is wet. Not sure what you mean about fixing when dry? We also sell heat press/ Iron on letters which high index beads in them.
Thank you for your reply. Would you think the result will be as bright and reflective if I use fluorescent paint (mike green or orange) will the beads still convey the original color in daylight condition and reflect green of orange when light stroke? I consider also using liquid silicone (transparent gel) as sticky base, then would grayish or white beads preferable? Sorry for all the questions and thank you for you help. Have a great day
@@kidnap2010 No problem ask away that is what we are here for. Would recommend High Index Micro-beads or Standard High Index. Yes the color underneath will come through in the day(may be a little milky as the beads bend light) The reflection part is tricky...Retro reflection means that the glass beads reflect light directly back to the source of that light. So you see a MPH sign light up on the Interstate only because you are at the same level as your headlights. If your headlights are white the reflection will be white, if your headlights were blue the reflection would be blue. With that said the beads will pick up some of the color underneath however its more about the light source color. The high index aluminized gray beads are the same as the micro-beadsbut are dipped semi-hemispherically in Aluminum which makes them tiny micro-mirrors. no color will come through if you apply them over the yellow.
No however if you put the beads on a colored surface the color underneath will come through. Would recommend using a lighter color for the best results.
@@ColeSafetyProducts thank you for your reply! I want to get a similar effect to the yellow paint application you offer. Is the yellow paint just acrylic or is it a propietary blend ?
would have been nice to see the beads in action.
see examples of customer projects using reflective glass beads at www.colezoom.com
Here you go: ua-cam.com/video/va2vzo5lc9w/v-deo.html
Is it possible to mix with color?
No... any color would inhibit the light from entering the glass bead. Also do not mix beads in paint this also will stop reflection.
Hmmm I was waiting for her to turn off the light and show its reflective element
that's nice ♥♥♥
Would be more effective to see your product work in dark with flash light..
This is not a demonstration, this is just application... where is the reflective sample?

***** great IDEA! thanks JSTU45. we have a lot of people ask about how to apply on vertical surfaces!

Yes they will work. Definitely would use the Type 3 High Index Micro-Beads
@@ColeSafetyProducts Thank you. The Type 3 was how I was leaning.
Application simply pouring beads over wet paint?
Didn’t really show if it worked or not.
Can i add this to pretty much any 100% acrylic paint?
Yes

Its traffic paint so its thicker but to answer your question it is 100% acrylic.
Can you mix them together
No
Might be fake. Did not see it work.
That's right we sell fake reflective products...after 12 years it is amazing we stay in business! LOL
@@ColeSafetyProducts Yall could use a better website and brand (that's what I do when I'm not designing sneakers)
some questions:
are they toxic?
are they really made of glass?
THANKS!
Glass Oxide - non toxic
Not Toxic...Made of glass..(soda lime or glass oxide usually)
The cute lady with the glasses is pretty
Dumb question: can I make my own reflection tape with broken glass & flat white house paint🤔
Would recommend using reflective glass beads Type 3 High Index
Can I ask for the address and WA number?
