You know, I'm not sure. I love them and they are next level. But, I have been going back and forth for a year and missed even getting it for this season, because I couldn't decide. 500x vs 1000x natural. The 500 is so good, and I want that stiffness, thats what I judge every hat against. The 1000 is just a little bit softer in the body, not as rigid. But that damn buckle. and If I got a 1000 it would be natural or silverbelly. I could go on, because its been bugging me for a year. I think they are both great hats. I would be paranoid to wear a hat that expensive! They are definitely works of art, but I have a "hat collecting" problem and I could never afford to have as many hats as I do at that price.
@@CowboyCartel I called a place named boot city they sell Western wear and tack and the girl said do you mean made in America and I said the brand is American and she was clueless!!!! Well I guess that's what I get up here in Illinois!!!

I was looking for an American but no one in my area sells them! They have a bunch of cheap ass garbage!!!
That's a common problem. Best Hat, Billys Western, Jobes Hats, The Hat Store Houston, Double R Hat House are all good options.
