Wow Howie let him talk for more than 10 seconds.
Yeah - Mike would have been really interesting to listen to, but I couldn’t make it past the first seven minutes because of the constant, stupid interruptions. If you ask a person a question, let them collect their thoughts and then speak their piece. Sheesh.
I was just coming here to comment this
Someone with ocd add, and most likely undocumented mental issues shouldn't be an interviewer.
When??? I didn't see that part...
Dude literally just said that out loud
Howie: *asks question*
Mike: *begins to answer question*
Howie: *starts talking again*
Mike: *do you even need me for this interview?*
Precisely.
he learned nothing from Howard Stern
Totally took the words out of my mouth. Howie amazingly turns a great interview into a taxing annoyance with his interruptions.
I used to work for a guy with that same personality trait. Dude was diagnosed bipolar. Watching Howie gives me ptsd-like flashbacks.
I noticed this too.
Damn this was brutal listening to Mike trying to answer a question.
Fore sure! Painful.
Questions ...are like ...heh heh hard and junk...
Egghegggh Questions Suck!!
Howie knows how to interrupt a guest...
Mike Judge is very patient and polite. I would have got up and left.
I wish Judge had told him in his best Butthead voice, "Shut up, Howie!"
No you wouldn't have.
They mentioned they were neighbors so he probably knows that’s just how he is
@@Paragonoflazinessimagine having to deal with an schizo like Howie
I mean the whole deal could have been better without the force feeding of howie’s daughter…
Mike Judge has had his finger on the pulse of generational culture for a long time. I think he might be an "under the radar" genius!
He still does. The new Beavis and Butthead are watching all the stuff my high schoolers are watching 😂
Uhuhuh. Finger. uhuhuh
Under the radar? No. He was an engineer before animation. He IS a genius. Engineering is one of the toughest things to degree in.
@@taronwilliams2307 That's true! I'd not even considered that fact also!
he definitely is. king of the hill is one of the most underrated shows of all time.
So glad Mike is back and better than ever with his new content. The world sorely needed Beavis and Butthead again and its one of the best things on TV right now
Hell yeah!!!
it and smiling friends
@@System-ly6de that only has 1 season for how many years now?
@@System-ly6de but yeah it is enjoyable
Totally agree. It's actually funnier than the original run I think.
Mike Judge is the most underrated figure in entertainment
King of the hill is still a show I watch every night before bed. Mike Judge is a genius!
It puts you to sleep? Great recommendation!
(It's a joke I don't need you to actually explain to me how it brings you comfort or some other boring nonsense)
Same they play it on adult swim. And fxx during the day. In blow glass for a living soon always have a tv on for background noise so I’ll have king of the hill on or South Park. I remember when beavis and butthead started on mtv in the early 90’s been watching South Park and king of the hill since they debuted too in 1997.
@DuncanAndFriends Tom Anderson seems a lot like a Hank Hill precursor
@@snavisTM shutup
@@shanetrimble9265 right? 😆
MJ is so humble for all his success
Mike Judge is one of the most humble celebrities ever.
Oh Jesus
I love B&B but hearing the Hank Hill origin story was an absolute gem.
That not hank hill in the b&b. Just same voice actor.
If you really watch King of the Hill closely, you'll notice there's a lot of depth, kindness and tenderness in it. One of many reason I adore that show. Thanks Mike!
And he's modest, too!
It really is. Very insightful show
Howie. Please refrain from the interruptions. You're killin me?
Love everything Mike Judge has ever done
Same. An American icon.
What else has he done?
what about the last dump he took?
a$$ kiss

Been watching Beavis and Butt-head since I was 13 years old and still watching it now that I’m 40. Doesn’t get old. Except for me.
This was infuriating to watch for anybody who actually wants to hear Mike's responses to the questions.
1,000%!!! 🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️
Dude, and the hologram plug was hella cringey.
I'm going to go out on a limb and guess Howie has A.D.D.
@@xeno057He’s definitely mentioned being diagnosed with contamination OCD, and ADD is a common co-diagnosis for people with OCD. So, you’re probably right!
Beavis and butthead gave us daria and tom anderson gave us hank hill. Mike judge is a hero he deserves many many awards like a lifetime achievement or a nobel peace prize
At a minimum, the Mark Twain Prize for American Humor.
The new beavis and butthead on paramount is freaking gold...the humor is updated but still nostalgic
I did not think Mr. Judge could impress me more, but he never ceases.
Hate an interviewer ask a question and then immediately start to answer it for them
One minute in and I’m already tired of Mandel.
I love this man 😍 I had the honor of hanging out with Mike Judge at a bar about 4 years ago and he's the nicest most humble genius you could ever meet!
@Frozen_Rope We actually hung out and talked for a few hours. And then he called my sister, my best friend Michelle, and my cousin to do impressions for them because he's so nice. I still have his phone number.
A better question would be, why are you harassing random people online who you don't know? 🤔
@Frozen_Rope Why are you a bunghole?
@@kc476 it’s just something a lot of people don’t experience, was it in Texas by any chance?

Be nice if we can listen to Mike Judge 😫
I know.. Howie is annoying. Especially when he keeps scaring the woman..
I'm 3 minutes in and Howie has already gotten Mike into two potential lawsuits. Great interviewing skills.
Mike Judge is SUCH an effing LEGEND..
Back in a time when it was impossible to be seen & heard, unlike now..... He was the dude who made the entertainment for myself & millions of other 90s teens..
I love this whole episode & all the cool stories I've never heard before...
Much love to Howie & Jackie from
Texas 💓💓
It is mind boggling that the creator of two knuckleheads characters is an intellectual genius Mike Judge
its annoying how howie keeps interrupting mike when hes talking... let the man finish what hes saying.
Beavis and Butthead is cool and all, but Office Space was hilariously life changing.
Edit: it's true. My life was changed by Office Space, too. It really opened my eyes to the reality that no one actually knows anything and we worry too much about making other people think we know things, when in reality no one knows anything and no one is better than anyone else.
It really helped me do job interviews better, too.
lame
There's actually a lot of people who are better than you at most things.

-Uh .. okay.
I had just started my first "office job" in 1999 when that movie came out, and it was scarily accurate
We are nothing, but they teach us bullshit in school
Howie chill . Let's the genius speak .
I've known about mike judge forever, never really paid attention to names, but everything he's had his hands in, has been a huge part of my life. I reference idiocracy all the time and seen it as a horror movie. The impact this one dude has had on society at least in America is huge and totally inspirational. What I'm getting from this interview? Is it doesn't matter what you're doing, as long as you're doing it right or trying to, you can make a difference that you may or may not notice just by doing the simple things. The beauty in is his work is he makes it look easy. It's crazy thinking about it. Like having the answer to everything and writing it down on a paper napkin.
The act of writing it down is another way of saying I want to remember this, it may be forgotten, overshadowed, or discarded but the thought lives on in its own way until it manifests in a form that makes sense for someone else. I'm probably not making sense as I try to grapple with this #simple #pure #truth
Do what you will and things will come together.
Much love!
it is great to see mike just in a non formal setting and just having fun with howie and jackie and everyone being themselves .......... love from hamilton ontario canada
In my youth I watched Beavis n Butt-Head on MTV back then and to this day at 45 there still cool .. thanks for the memories Mike Judge 👍I would do the voices of both in a phone call and my nephew would crack up such an inspiration to my childhood 😁
*My teenage years would've been much more Hellish if it weren't for Beavis & Butthead. My best friend "Robo" and I watched every episode, and emulated some of the stupid shit they did. I can do the voices of some of Mike's characters, and Robo used to love it when I would do them. Robo died of Leukemia in 2008 at only 27. I wish he were still here with me today to watch this and reminisce. I know he's still here in spirit. RIP Robo. Love you guys. Thanks for this one.*
Rest in peace Robo! Did not know him but for you to have such great memories of such a great friend speaks volumes of who he was!
My best friend and I were big fans too. My friend Kevin loves when I did the impressions as well. He was killed in a car wreck at 24 years old, back in 2009...We have much in common...
RIP to Kevin and Robo...
@@chucktouchton398 damn dude. I'm so sorry for your loss. Almost seems like we should be best buds now. RIP Robo and Kevin!
"I love everything about your story"
Proceeds to talk over his guest constantly.
Mike Judge is a creative genius. His characters are amazing.
I think it's because they are inspired by real life people so there's true relatability to them
He was also a massive influence for the TP industry.
When we all needed tp, For our bungholes.
Mike Judge - Whoa! The Under-the-Radar Ultra Talent!
Judge is an underrated mastermind buddies. You in the west don't really cherish that guy enough. He has to be mentioned a lot more in the public space.
Jesus christ howie STOP interrupting him
Thanks for that interview. In Brazil we needed to wait the VHS tapes with the dubbing. I was always a fan of both. You guys made childhood in the 90's so much easier here in Brazil, thank you.
Mike judge has absolutely smashed 2022 better than anyone!! Keep killing it!!
Wish Mike Judge was able to speak more, without verbal diarrhea Howie constantly mouthing off dominating the dialogue.
Mike should make more episodes about Howie inturpting in Beavis and Butt-Head
The new season is the best yet.
I'm was so excited to see this pop up! Thank you for always getting such amazing guests 💚
Beavis and Butthead have always been dope. Glad he brought them back
The story about the fence at 28:41 is the same as the Buckley's Trampoline episode of KOTH.
They do that like 4 or 5 times in the show lol
Love your interviews Howie and Jackie. Mike Judge has made me laugh for years. Genius.
I've lived in Texas for 9 years and there's nothing more true than King of the Hill characters here. I would love to meet Mike Judge one day.
Howie "I need to shut the f**k up after asking someone a question" Mandel.
The love of music, doesn't fade.
Mike Judge is a mystery wrapped in an enigma and is really great just a fascinating interview and thanks for such a great episode.
Mike Judge is so great at so many things, but he's almost too humble lol
Also I think Howie should interrupt less lol
Protect Mike Judge at all cost 🙏🏼❤️
From what
Howie you are honestly a revolting 'human'
Surprised (not that he’d have been given a chance) that Mike didn’t mention how Hank Hill was based on Tom Anderson from OG Beavis & Butthead.
The new movie and episodes have been his best work with Beavis and Butthead dude has came a long way and is incredible. Thanks for your amazing work I can not wait for more I have loved every episode aside a couple of the old versions of them they were okay...but yeah keep up the great work love your work!
Mike Judge has done some great stuff! King of the hill is one of my favorite shows. Holy shit please Re-Boot King of the Hill

Jeeze Howie, let the man speak. Good lord
Mike Judge = pure gold! Wish him the best in life!
King of the hill reboot. Bobby is not a teenager anymore has already graduated high school, so Hank tries to get Bobby to go to a trade school or a college. But bobby still wants to be a comedian.
I totally have that Milton cartoon on a VHS tape!
It was a great interview I don't care what anybody says and very inspirational and one of my favorite podcasts yet and I've been doing them since the 90s. So thank you all very much for sharing
The way they have that room set up is like an interrogation room.
I happened across the Beavis and Butthead album at a yard sale. I was like 6 or 7 years old, it was amazing.
I will miss Dale aka Johnny but I will be equally devastated if they cancel king of the hill i hope they find someone who can voice Dale or use AI rip Dale you are a legend ❤
Mike Judge is without a doubt is one of the best in the business. King of the Hill, Beavis and Butt-Head, are my favorites and I love when cartoons cross over into each other like the Seth MacFarlanes Family Guy, American Dad spilling Beavis and Butt-Head and King of the Hill characters into their episodes it's all awesome I'm waiting for Beavis and Butt-Head to visit Hank and the gang it would be epic please Mike Judge make this happen.
Great show guys getting better and better ever show love it best podcasts anywhere Jackie and Howie Thank you
I know Mike Judge from his "Tales of the tour bus" series, which I really like (especially the James Brown and Funkadelic episodes are hilarious)! I didn't even know Beavis and Butthead and King Of The Hill were his creations lol! 😅 Also Office Space I didn't know was made by him, love that movie! 😍
Watch the movie Extract. It’s awesome
Silicon Valley 🔥
Love him so much. Best guest ever
I've always loved Howie's work. Me and my brother still quote line from the show "Good Grief" the first episode when he sends Raul for the Maserati is one of the funniest things I've ever seen.. I would love to hear him talk about the show, but I think my brother and I are the only people who remember it.
The Beavis and Butthead soundtrack is easily top 10 all time great movie soundtracks
The Beavis and Butthead experience from '91 is the best one. Period!
One that came out in 93 was the bomb
I just recently started looking into Mike Judge’s career path. This single interview contains more insights into him personally and professionally!
Mike Judge is a comic genius. His name will live on in his wonderful characters.
Mike Judge deserves Noble Price for genius Humor Peace invention
Just started watching the reboot. It is absolutely amazing. I missed these guys so much.
Apparently everyone Mike ever went to school with is a weirdo supergenius. 🤣
Also, I'd love to meet the neighbor that influenced Hank. What a guy.
Fandom wiki says this:
During development of King of the Hill, Hank Hill was supposed to be the son of Tom Anderson; however, FOX was unable to get Tom because he belonged to MTV. Judge had to give Hank a different father, Cotton Hill.
I always forget Office Space was based on something Mike Judge did…lol that movies hilarious
Been on a B&BH/ King of the Hill binge lately. 👍
The movie and the new season have been amazing!
It's rare when they bring something back, and it turns out better than the original.
Sure, they nostalgia of the old ones will always be something special..
but you gotta hand it to Paramount for having faith in him.
nothing but love to Mike judge, You the man
These have been great and so funny but this one to me was amazing I've been wanting to see Mike judge on a podcast so bad. For many people as well has deff been a huge part of my child hood :) thank you for the eps and shows Mike and Howie thank you for this pod and everything else you've done
His regular voice is so fun as a fan to hear!
It is
It's Hank Hill without the Texas Accent
I’ve been a life long fan of Bevis and Butthead. Mike also has a series on UA-cam called Tales from the Tour Bus involving his animations and hearing tales from musicians who worked with artists like George Jones , Prince and many more. I bought both seasons and rewatch them almost every week because it’s too freaking good. Keep it up Mike and thanks for telling their stories on there.
Great stuff Howie & Jacklyn ✌️ Love the variety of guests you get on here
The fact Beavis grew up to be a nuclear engineer is absolutely hilarious 😂
That's Smart Beavis
The new episodes are fantastic!
Dude that beavis laugh then followed immediately by that ghoulish fn butthead one is like the funniest one two ever😂 🥊 gets me every time
For me it's incredible how art imitates life I mean even Beavis' head angle is the exact same as Jackie, both have the same nose and if Mike told me that Butt-Head was based on Howie I would believe it.
Mike Judge ever since that day..to stay up late to watch your show as a kid before bedtime. Now as adult still enjoying your show forever💖💞
Thanks for having him as a guest Howie.
You are awesome too💖💞
Bring back Gizmo!
Very interesting podcast episode and I must admit I learned some things about Mike Judge considering most people know the name more than the man. There is something very authentic with MJ in the sense that he's this very down to Earth soft-spoken engineer-type guy who grew up in Albuquerque - and yet he's a polyvalent genius who's able to do well in almost everything he does. He can do animation, voice acting, live acting, screenplay almost anything even the music sometimes.
He's that relatable guy you want to drink beers with, this is how relatable he is.
I’m old. I saw “beavis and butthead” back in the day for the first time at “Spike and Mikes Sick and twisted animation festival” In downtown Sacramento at the Crest theater somewhere in 1991 or 1992. Volkswagens green salad with a side of mushrooms. Inflatable adult toys were blown up and thrown around the theater lmao. I was way too young to be there lmao. Great memories! Have to put this here as well
immitating Beavis is my favorite, especially when he does the high pitch laugh
Great Podcast.I love Mike Judges work
Thank you for introducing him as The Mike Judge. He is quietly responsible for some of the funniest movies and tv shows ever made. He will never get enough credit.
Whoa, that interview was, like, intense, man. Howie Mandel, like, didn't give Mike Judge a chance to talk, huh huh. It was, like, Beavis and Butthead without the 'heh heh,' you know? Heh heh, pretty wild
It Absolutely blows my mind that Howies channel ONLY has about 51k Subscribers !!!!
This is One of the Best Most Hilarious podcasts on here!!!
Awww thanks
Exactly what I asked myself too this episode again! 🤔
Often ask myself this. The sponsors will help.
I didn’t realize I wasn’t subscribed. Thanks for making me think to check!
I just figured out I was only subscribed to the clips channel think they have the same name.
It would be cool if for once one of these interviews could bring up Mike Judge's only failure. "The Good Family" I would love to hear the backstory behind that.
I know Mike hates a lot of the older shorts, but I really find a warmness and nostalgia factor in them that cannot be replicated. Friday Night is my favorite!!
