Signal Season 2 was scheduled to air in 2020, but I heard it will air in 2021 due to financial problems and corona problems. Writer Kim Eun-hee may be busy preparing for the Kingdom. Signal was the first k drama I watched. Kind of sorry I did as nothing has come close to it so far. Really hope there is a series 2 as it’s the best detective series I have seen for years, in any country.
SIGNAL is simply the best Korean drama to come out in years, crime drama or not. Just brilliant. I've never seen Jo Jin Woong play a role similar to Lee Jae Han (Nameless Gangster, A Hard Day and The Assassination to name a few) so I was taken aback at how he nailed it perfectly, just proves how effective of an actor he is. Lee Jae Han is now my most fave character ever I don't even know how to start explaining how I was emotionally invested to his character, and this drama is my fave!! Can't wait to see more of Lee Je Hoon now that he's leveled up his game in the drama scene, I've always been a big fan of him since Bleak Night and I'm dying to watch Phantom Detective >< Kim Hye Soo is my queen. Her portrayal of Cha Soo Hyun was just so raw and human. SEASON TWO, Oh god, PLEASE!!
no doubt my friend, i watched very limited of Korea drama through years, with little bit small amount of crime drama from them, caught Signal in just starting in 1 tv channel and got attract by it charm, Lee Jae Han is surely the best character and performance in this movie no doubt. I doubt about anychance they got season 2 but let's hope so.
Got goosebumps while this song was played during Signal ep 4 ending... With all characters each respectively reflecting on someone who is important to them most, and also the scene where Detective Lee Jae Han was crying in the theather... Okay I'm gonna stop rambling now...

The scene on the theater was gold. Gawd, Jo Jin Woong deserves a Daesang for playing Lee Jae Han. If he doesn't win a best actor for this, then I don't know from what kind of criteria they're judging.

Ever since we got Netflix a few years ago I have enjoyed watching TV dramas and movies from all over the world. I have become exceedingly fond of Korean TV dramas. Signal and Sissyphus the Myth are my two absolute favourites. I've watched both several times and am currently watching Signal for the 3rd time. The story and performances are compelling, especially the performance by actor portraying the police officer in the past. I'm glad to hear that the 2nd series is in production but I wonder if the new story will be able to take the characters to the same heights of excellence? My fingers are crossed.

TvN dramas are the best, at least the ones I've watched, they actually have a deep plot and go beyond by exploring the characters' emotions and treat them as humans, this is the best drama I've ever watched. I was iffy about starting because I usually just complain about detective dramas (I have plenty of knowledge is policing and forensic science) even American or British ones, there's always somewhere where they just do stuff that pisses me off because it's so impossible or unbelievable, but this drama has the right combination of fiction (something I'm not fan of at all) and detective drama. And I'm barely in episode 5, that's how fast it has convinced me. People say everywhere that the hooks at the end drive you nuts, and it's no joke, they know how to end an episode.
한숨 쉬듯이 부르는 노래가 심금을 태우네. 이런 독특한 창법은 들어본적이 없다. 매우 신비롭고 몽환적인 분위기를 자아내고 있고 안타까운 이 재한의 마음을 대변하는 것 같다. 좋다. 고음부분에서 일부러 아슬아슬하고 힘들게 넘어가는 부분이 애절하고 아쉬운 재한과 수현의 사랑과 같다. 이 드라마의 분위기와 매치가 되며 노래를 듣고 있을때는 드라마의 장면이 떠오른다. 애석하게도 세상이 다 그래라는 말이 가슴을 후벼파는데..... 슬프다. 막바지에는 흐느끼는 잉키의 목소리가 너무 좋다. 그냥 좋다.

this was honestly my favorite drama. tunnel is just a copy of this masterpiece, I won't even count it as a copy but seriously I might never get to watch something this amazing again.

This was the best 2016 drama and still is the best drama ever still didnt see any other drama that makes my heart drop in every single episode! I wish they made the second season since it ended in an ambiguous way
I also feel the same! I tried so much to find any drama which will make me love it more than signal but I failed terribly. Life on Mars and Forest of Secrets are the only ones which made me feel something similar to Signal and now they are my Top 3 favorite kdramas. 😊
Powerhouse performances by the entire cast. Shocked at how wonderfully different it was compared to other shows I've seen. I'm actually pretty pleased by the ending and wouldn't be too bothered if they decide against the same trio for season 2 (if they do decide to create a season 2).
I watch the rerun of this drama and it still choked me when the profiler put flower at his elementary school then his childhood friend suddenly appear and smile.. Damn, the feels.
Nice story, lots of suspense unique and no stereotype unlike some dramas. Salute to this brilliant Script Writer. Brilliant cinematography. Lovely songs and ost💖

Signal is such an underrated k-drama. Hands down my favorite K-drama in 2016.
Her voice is so special. And her style is so unique for a Korean singer that it makes me wanna cry from enthusiasm.

I also feel the same! I tried so much to find any drama which will make me love it more than signal but I failed terribly. Life on Mars and Forest of Secrets are the only ones which made me feel something similar to Signal and now they are my Top 3 favorite kdramas. 😊

Powerhouse performances by the entire cast. Shocked at how wonderfully different it was compared to other shows I've seen. I'm actually pretty pleased by the ending and wouldn't be too bothered if they decide against the same trio for season 2 (if they do decide to create a season 2).
