So many people here in the US hate the juniper forward gins, but I think they are wimps. I love the flavor and the T10 has refined it to perfection with the citrus. I also love the bottle. To ward off the summer heat I went and after much thought (other choices Hendricks and Roku) got myself a bottle. It has been a while since I turned to gin, but as soon as opened the bottle I knew I hit jackpot! G&T made with No.10 is my new favorite mixer. Delicious and so refreshing
Thanks, you may want to consider reviewing some gins that have emerged here in Victoria, British Columbia. Gin distilleries have really taken off here and there are some good (and some wild) gins now produced here in around Victoria. I would be interested to hear your perspective.
Yes, perhaps Victoria gin and/or Sheringham gin. Victoria gin makes a pleasant one named Empress and Sheringham has been winning some awards as well. I like the Empress gin because it has just the right amount of interest in the flavour for me.
Amazing Gin!!! My favorite! Where I live in America, I can either get a 1.75 liters of regular Tanq for $40, or the 1liter of Tanq N.10 for the same price!! Always the hardest decision!
Just picked up the last bottle of Tanqueray Ten at the local liquor store an hour ago. Can't wait to try it. I really wish I could lay my hands on the Sevilla, but it's not available in Pennsylvania. 1724, Excellent tonic water. Made with hand pick quinine. I recommend comparing it to Fever tree tonic water. Have you donde that in your channel, comparing tonic waters?
Thanks very much. I really appreciated your review. I have just got a bottle of 10 and I love it. I always taste my gins neat before I try different tonics - and it is magnificent neat. While definitely a quality silky smooth gin, this is not what I would consider a traditional London dry gin. To me fever tree has a citrus flavor to it, so I personally would use a different tonic water to tone down the citrus in the No.10. If you love a quality citrusy gin, this is for you.
