Glad to see that even a pro can often not return two balls from the anti-spin in a row 😅
Fantastic match from Luka.
Unbelievable
Sorry, what is combo blade of luka?
60fps video? Take my money 🎉
Well done Luka. Some nice comeback and wise use of that anti spin.
Wow, he did beat somebody
He beat somebody. You don't say "win somebody".
@@joshallensarm yes, i am sorry for my english dude)
@@iskandergrandis No problem, I see that mistake all the time on pingpong videos and had to say something. You either defeat your opponent or beat them. You win the game, not the opponent.
I know antispin rubbers are a messy play style to deal with for me. No matter how well you execute your strokes or practice your tactics in a game, it is always a challenge. There were some points that even Luka didn't know how to properly attack with that paddle. I know some of you will disagree but I really think most antispin rubber players rely more on the fact of leaving the opponent to make mistakes than on developing the game.
well noticed, and the problem is not even that they do not rely on their skill, but on the inability of the enemy, but in the fact that they make a bunch of simple mistakes due to a very unstable rubber
You keep saying inverted but I think you meant to say antispin. You should edit your comment
@@GeneralSpecific3 Noticed and modified. Thanks for the feedback.
@@OEMM71 anti spin rubber is a stable rubber. the problem is that some professional players do not play antispin. See how many faults after the first return after a top spin. It is part of an antispin player to force player to do mistakes with their antispin rubber.
Exactly. Luka's game is trash. his anti spin rubber bails him out.
Que belo comeback👏👏🏓
Who are Yessah and Jose? Luka keeps screaming their names. Maybe he’s looking for them
what anti rubber luka use .. look so tricky!
Does he put maple syrum on his rubber?
The opposite. His rubber is absolutely frictionless, which reverses the spin of his opponent. So when Uda plays a heavy topspin and Luka blocks it, the topspin becomes heavy underspin. In fact so heavy that Uda, who is not an amateur and knows about all this, still played many balls into the net. One example is at 8:02.
@@nulldemokratiezwei7773 yes indeed. I play against some players with anti spin rubbers. It's strange that players at that level still make mistakes but it is tricky
@@nulldemokratiezwei7773 now when I think abt it actually anti doesnt reverse the spin but just bounces and maintains the same rotation direction
maybe even adding some more rpm to that ball cause it seems to me speed of topspin shot greatly reduced after anti rubber bounce meaning one thing slower ball has higher rpm (considering energy loss due to bounce close to zero of course)
thats why YU had so much trouble
couldnt believe there was even more spin than his own shot ;o
In ping pong you can even avoid that "horrible" spin (please google the differences between table tennis and ping pong). Not a paradise?) Being serious, I will add that all these pips annoy but close to the master's level you will understand the beauty of facing the incredibly complicated balls with various spin changes. And moreover you will feel the importance of intelligence, of analytical preparation at home to beat all these pips, understanding the right tactics (really, the combination of tactics).
It's not pips
@@joshallensarm Yeah, I know, it's anti, but almost the same as long pips
@@Garpoon1 no its definately not the same or almost the same as any pips
Does Luka play with Anti Spin or long pipples ?
Anti
@@donaldduck6892 Frictionless, like Gorilla?
Anti spin
What are those "Jose & Yazaa" screams about?
Well it means: Jose and Yazaa. In Germany a good old “Tschoa” is also well known.
Bravo
these are the "luka" and spoil the beauty of table tennis
Antispin day
Uda can't push
He can just his style.
Beautiful style and tactics from Luka
and...to all the ppl here that say this anti game is ugly/boring/dry etc...used to think the same but nowadays find myself looking forward to see a game like this different than conventional offense vs offense
if it happens I play vs anti or long pips then feel grateful caused pushed to my limit and respectful since that style is unique
so unique that belongs in the...Red List of Threatened Species
Lets dont kill that lil diversity left in TT guys we should actually support it
prob went a bit too far with "support it" ;o lmao
Stop the cap, anti spin is trash
lukas entire game is based entirely around his junk rubber..
Bro never seen antispin tactics?
It is, its incredibly impressive that he can play with it at this level. Its an incredibly compromising piece of material and makes it harder to play rather than easier
Stimmt!
Its so silly to see him celebrity points won just because of the rubber
what do u expect then? thats the primary reason someone is using anti.
So annoying playing against those rubbers
wtf, Uda dont know how to do a top spin against anti spin rubber and to make a stop against backspin...
What a cheater
so bad.
....just a simple block is not worthy of earning a point .... what Luka does is relying on confusion and trickery ....that's not a skill
Actual 🤡
I hate this type of table tennis
No quality just using a horrible type of rubber to claim wins that he’ll never get with normal rubbers
I don’t understand why wtt still allows these kinds of rubbers
I Also think that table tennis rubbers need to be stable.. Playing defensiv style with Long pimples is actually stable und matches are entertaining.. Short pimples are almost like inverted.. Antispin however like this one here are really stupid und ugly to watch.. No sport value for me.. They should be banned.. No real tt player should be allowed to play like this.. Imagine playing football with a ball that no one can predict how it's springs or only rarely.. A luck game
@@zizo015 yeah long pips are fine and entertaining and they actually improve both player’s techniques but this anti spin rubbers should never be brought into the game
Players without skill will just play and wait for their opponents to make mistakes nothing respectable about that
@@obiwuluifenna4042 Maybe their opponents should get better. Try getting good with anti if you think it's easy.
@@joshallensarm it’s easy as hell
These anti spin players can’t play with normal rubbers against anti spin generating spin they can’t even handle
Tbh some players would never be successful with normal rubbers that’s why they look for lazy alternatives
@@obiwuluifenna4042 🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡
Doesnt Look Like Table Tennis to me. Pretty boring.
Just keep your basement league
What does it look like to you ? Pickleball? Pretty sure it's table tennis.
i give up yukiya uda is sadly not as good as i thought
he played reckless, overconfident, lost confidence at the end and lost the match.
but never doubt his techniques, strokes, agility, footwork and speed. he won many Chinese Players. it was just his bad day
@@seeker3983 the comment was meant kind of sarcastic he just lost the last three matches i watched thats why i commented
I was also surprised as Japan has plenty of players with weird rubbers (twiddling penholders with long pips on one side).. It is like a test for the top players, to see who really has their shit together. But Luka also beat Liang Yanning, Simon Gauzy, lost narrowly to Francisca, Falck, etc. So I think it's in fact the other way round - it's Luka who's really improved and found the right mix of defence and attack, anti & inverted, to make life hard for many.
