Thank you! Hope to get some contributions from you if you're interested in scoring some releases! Definitely will be working on more features soon.

Sullinger has a really fast jumper. If you like fast jumpers you might like him

Nice definitely planning to give him a whirl.

Played a kid last night with Beasley. He shot about 50% with him, which was good. But my “worthless” (if you ask UA-cam viewers) dm Michael Jordan abused Beasley so mercilessly rim running that my opponent was screaming into the mic like a banshee.
Point is this, you’re going to get some hivemind data about “release” that won’t be particularly useful. Don’t weigh that release score too high.
Regarding Yao, I bought that card with the profit from selling AI and T-Mac and a couple Beasley cards. He’s super good despite those speed and perimeter defense scores because he’s literally always open if he has any space at all when shooting (or if he is against a center about 6’10” or shorter he’s always open even with them in his face). I took him into salary cap to be ‘that guy’ and put about 12 points on Ayton without even a shot contest before I put him back on the bench feeling like I was committing a crime of some sort.
Hard to account for all this in a data model so I’m glad there’ll be an option to use the fully objective model without user submitted data.
Ps - Scottie is so good defensively. In testing I let him off ball defend and saw some crazy good contests and blocks and big centers and forwards basically just hand him the ball a couple times a game. He deserves his high rating.

Would love to get my hands on that Scottie Pippen card.
Definitely hear you on your preferences with the model, and like I said in the video, I got you -- similar to how you use different model types in LLM's you can count on me to make available different models tailored to how you want to evaluate the cards. From your perspective, if you think people overvalue release and animations (something I lean towards agreeing with you on for sure) then in some respects comparing against that model can perhaps give you an edge over others competitively.

I love this analysis!!! I was really interested in the nothing on Jeff Green likely ending up being one of the best value cards we see all year. Would you be willing to do a list of your top 10 best value, or maybe 3 best from each tier Ruby-PD every month or so? Could be a unique spin on the lists we see from others with your deeper analytical angle added.

Thinking more, parameters could be as you see fit/relevant for the given time in the game cycle when you post. Like I know you wouldn’t want to be talking about rubies in May when they likely stop adding any lol.

Yeah that is definitely an idea I thought of and even played around with a feature -- it definitely deserves a video so we'll do that this week! It's definitely way overdue, thanks for the suggestion!

I actually worked on a version of this -- the whole reason the scores are more static is because of the Tatum card. I'm still not ruling out this type of scoring system and may even deploy a version of this but as someone who has worked in the sports industry on the analytics side it's hard to have one overall metric have different versions (the classic example of this is baseball fWAR vs bWAR).

I know you didn't jus call beasly Jeff Green lol jk, but for real I got a beasly yesterday for 450k(half my mt) but I gotta say he plays better for me than pd LeBron or atleast just as good but tht could be a case by case basis thing. But I guees how I tried to justify it is beasly plays like a opal so I'll pay opal price for him. Sometimes the jumpshot feels to fast but a great card. I can deff say he is the funniest card I've used so far this year.

He’s good against players who overreact on defense to that fast crossover. I don’t think that dribble sig is going to be valuable against more experienced players.

Well technically, if you evaluate the meta scores Michael Beasley is actually better than PD LeBron with a 57.27 score vs 57.03 -- so that actually lines up with what your observations are! And I'm not saying in the video that he's a bad card, I just think he's overvalued based on what the metrics are saying. I'll be interested to see how he scores with the new release model that we're deploying soon.
You can do the community a solid by scoring his release on the website and you'll see that reflected in the release model going out tomorrow.

@@synthbangers wow ok I was not aware tht beasly and James are tht close in score, and I know you ain't calling him bad, and i would agree with overpriced, it feels like everything is overpriced this year. And yes I need to check the site out its very intresting and is seeming to make a lot of sense, keep up the good work!

@@waynealan3067 he's the best over all player I feel like I've used this year but tht ain't saying much as I haven't got to use a lot of top tier cards so far. He mite be a tad over priced/hyped but he's deff good.

My philosophy is that if the player works for you why not roll with it? Always got to think for yourself, well done!
