It's the most efficient way of doing a calorie deficit for losing weight. You can't reduce your proteins since you need them to build muscle, and cutting back on fat too much isn't healthy either. So, usually people cut back on carbs
@brnr8113 Bro I was in a calorie deficit for a year. Carbs have 0 to do with weight loss. I littlerally ate carbs and junk foods every single day and lost 40 pounds in 8 months. Also it's called a calorie deficit not a carb deficit you feel me? That's why I don't understand the point
@@Boop417 Fair enough. I guess in a boxing camp you'd have to peak physically as well as losing weight, so you'd have to make sure your protein stays high. They're not just trying to prioritize the weight cut, they also have to try and peak when it comes to strength, speed, etc. I don't really know though tbf
