My father and his three brothers were in the war at the same time, my dad was 19 and the youngest was 17 and the others were older. The youngest was killed crossing the Rhein. Grandma was a widow she owned 196.9 acres of land and rec'd royalties from the oil corp. but when my dad and his brothers returned home they found out that grandma lost her land and royalties. It's an amazing story how this all came about, turns out that the heart of all that activity were the lawyers that represented her. Such a sad story! Great video!
My great Grandpa and his brother 👴🏼 were braceros . My politico uncle was a ww2 veteran marry to My grandma sisters cousin. My uncle was shot in Germany came back worked for US Border patrol . Not realizing my grandpa 👴🏼 was in line , my uncle recognize him . My uncle pull him off the line, said to his buddies “ Don’t touch my uncle “ for the braceros would get striped down all the clothing and spray them with bug killer. My grandpa 👴🏼 was very glad he wasn’t sprayed he said it was embarrassing. RIP all my relatives...
