here is my latest trip to the flea market :)
This time I found all of this at just 1 flea market. And still the video is super long~ haha

But I think that I'm doing pretty good flea market wise this year :) Yes, Lil Miss Singing Mermaid is one of the coolest dolls from the early 90s ❤❤❤
The "potato" 😂 was a California raisin, the Kenner Dusty doll is notorious for being "ugly," also every one I have ever seen has melted joints, yuck.
I had those vintage lps, wish I still did! I also saw a fieval figure in that big mish mash bin. The tiny kitty notebook was so cute!

A music band with not excisting band members that are raisins? They were even Emmy nominated twice and even won one of the awards? The 80s were crazy XD How comes I've never heard of them before? Probably more an American phenomenon and not as popular over here~ haha

@@LauSkypainter I remember my elementary school teachers dressing up as the california raisins for halloween (they just wore black plastic trash bags) and dancing and singing. The 80s were crazy! But also colorful and fun!
I also found a 70s Cher doll with the melted joints. They used some really gross kind of plastic back then.

😍😍😍 Schon wieder soviel tolle Sachen. Ich war über die letzte Woche verteilt auf 4 Flohmärkten und die Ausbeute war ok aber leider gibt es immer weniger 80/90er Spielzeug zu finden. Klar irgendwann sind die Keller und Dachböden auch mal leer und viele bekommen mit das mlp und Co wieder gesammelt werden und verlangen online horrende Summen 😩.
Danke für deinen lieben Kommentar ❤❤❤ ja besonders 80er Jahre Spielzug ist auf Flohmärkten wirklich kaum noch zu finden. 90er durchaus noch häufiger aber aktuell findet man wirklich am ehesten das Zeug aus den 2000ern. G3 Ponies, LPS und Co. Ich wünschte ich wäre schon vor 10 Jahren regelmäßig auf Flohmärkte gegangen -.-° wenn ich immer die Stories höre, dass Leute Tütenweise G1 Ponies gefunden haben und die ganzen seltenen noch dazu ... da muss ich fast heulen. Aber eine Ausbeute, die "ok" ist, ist doch auch ganz gut. Ich bin auch manchmal auf Flohmärkten und finde fast gar nix. Dann mache ich da natürlich kein Video draus~haha

The potato in the toy bin was a California Raisin, they were wildly popular here in the US in the late 80’s/early 90’s :)
I had never heard of them before. I researched them now and what a crazy concept of putting out a real band but the band members are raisins??? Who came up with that idea and what did he consume before~ hahaha
I guess over here in Europe they were not as popular. How else should I have never heard of them before? But then there is this toy in that bin at the flea market~ haha

@@LauSkypainter I think "who came up with that idea and what did he consume before?" is a good way of describing most creations from the 80s actually. (Let's not forget the Delorean and its cocaine smuggling creator.) It seems it was originally a campaign to simply popularize raisins, and by integrating the famous song "I heard it through the grapevine," among other great hits, they had quite a lot of success, and the characters took on a life of their own for a few years. The best quote I just stumbled across was a critic referring to them as "The coolest wrinkled musicians this side of the Stones" lol. Anyway, I can imagine they made an appearance outside of the US as characters, but it's hard to imagine that raisin company spreading to Europe, so that's probably why it had a limited existence.

If it helps, Kitty Surprise moms have a tag inside the baby pocket/stomach. It's kind of hidden and hard to pull out sometimes!

I was already corrected in the comments over a year ago about them. They were not known or popular in Germany or Europe in general. So please don't judge me for not knowing them back when I filmed the video.

Ohhh you found another mermaid! Can you show us the process when you fix her hair? I had commented recently that I tried to fix my little miss mermaids hair and she lost all her curl. I want to try again but I’m nervous. Would love to see the process
Yes, I remember your comment. Not sure if I answered it though... ^^° I sometimes get overwhelmed and can't handle answering all comments (although I'm just a small youtuber and jus have a limited amout of comments^^°).
I have started recording the process but I'm at a point right now where I'm not sure if I really want to do a boil perm or leave it as it is. I basically just washed the hair with conditioner and combed through it. That's all I have done right now and the curls still look pretty nice. If you want to keep the factory curls you should not boil wash the hair. That makes it straight. Just normal warm water from the tub and conditioner. But If you want to re-curl the hair your need to put it in curlers and then dip it in boiling hot water and let it dry.
So let's see what I decide for my Lil' Miss Mermaid this time. The other one for last year I completely re-did the curls. So they are not the factory curly anymore. They are completely new curled with a boil perm. I have a video on how I do a boil perm on doll hair. Maybe that helps you. ua-cam.com/video/32Qb6kv2E0g/v-deo.html

Yes, I also thought that the price was fair. Not a super cheap flea market price but totally ok ❤ but unfortunately the lights don't work -.-° today I was able to unscrew tha battery compartment and I was not able to get it to work. It looks totally clean inside. No battery corrosion or anything. It's just not working~ but well. I'm over it.
