Hi, yes, got to pay attention to the finds. In this area I got the sinkers, large screw, 3 bullet casings, large glob of lead, quarters (all heavy objects). I was excited to get what I was getting but the gold did the trick, major excitement kicked in when I realized what I got! Happy Hunting
Oh absolutely. I scoured all of that sand in that area and found other things (bullet casings, the screw, sinkers & quarter). So heavy objects got dumped out by the ocean in this area. I was so happy to have found it!
Hi Basia,super find....doesn't it feel good to find gold.I see you use a GT2 Plus if you change the coil to a fisher F19 coil or the same coil Teknetics 10 x 5 elliptical industry standard it is a gold finding coil.You will wake the detector up much more.it see less ground and makes the detector separate much better on small items and also you can learn how to pin point you target with the tip of the coil and then you won't need to use a pin pointer.I have the same ,been using it for years
