Would love to see a part 2! Also, in the last couple of days, Johnson's of Old Hurst (a small farm/zoo in Cambridgeshire) acquired two male Indian Sloth Bears. The only Indian sloth bears in the country.
Yes, Johnson's of Old Hurst have had Sri Lankan Sloth Bears since last November or so, although Whipsnade's last Indian Sloth Bear (Columbo) has now passed away, making Old Hurst the only holder of any Sloth Bears in the UK.
It’s nice to see all of these animals when you get the chance! Here in the USA, Pandas are relatively common, and Barbary lions are still pretty rare. Because of the expensive upkeep that pandas need, they are usually only in prestigious zoos. Aarwolves, black Wildabeest, and Sri Lankan leopards are rare here, but sloth bears, African leopards, spotted hyenas, and blue wildebeests are pretty common. Sand cats are also very common here as well, not in big facilities, but more so in small zoos.
But only 5 known collections house African Leopards and 3/5 are pretty minor. Columbus and Creation Kingdom are the majors. Southwick’s African Leopard sadly passed away
Some other rare species Bonobo - twycross zoo Koala - Edinburgh zoo and longleat safari park Babirusa - chester zoo and London zoo Okapi - chester zoo london zoo and marwell zoo
There are two things that I want to mention. The first thing is there is a second animal in the UK that houses aardwolves which is Hemsley conservation centre. The second thing is that there is a third animal place in the UK that houses false gharials which is Beale wildlife park.
Did you know the Yorkshire Wildlife Park has recently had its second Roloway monkey birth, the only ones ever in the UK of this incredibly rare monkey? When brother Kumasi was born last year, only three were born in captivity in the entire world that year.

Whipsnade has sloth bears right?
@@ep.1646 Yes, but they have a Sri Lankan sloth bear which is a separate subspecies.
@@alexandergardiner6700 oh ok

Beautiful video, can you make one for the italian zoos?
You should do a part 2.
Maybe Maneless Zebra at Colchester or the Syrian bears or others at Hamerton, I know it would be easy to mention Hamerton too much though.
Please a part 2! Wolds wildlife park is the only animal park to keep Indian leopards! They currently have a male named Mowgli

Cool! There's three places in America where you can find a giant panda: Zoo Atlanta, Smithsonian's National Zoo and Memphis Zoo.
actually, there is a fourth zoo. I have seen a panda at San Diego Zoo
Sri Lankan leopolds are cool
Bonobos are a only found in england( probably uk) at twycross zoo
1:59 Why does Longleat have black wildebeest?
Pretty sure chester zoo has the only dusky padamelons in the UK but not sure
