Great video, appart from starting the APU i would have also engaged the Yellow Electric Pump to reduce the load from the PTU which is constantly transfering Hydraulic power from the engine number 1 to the number 2 😊

I kran, atc breaking the mayday sounds really funky, but its seemed he wants to DirectX someone off the airspace cuz he hot other planet coming on the same waypoint.
@@DuncanCardew .... I am yet to see an atc to decline mayday on vatsim and im flying for years... Its not the fact it isnt allowed, cuz it is, its just not mandatory for atc to go with them
He initially should have declared PAN PAN and only after the fire alarm rang could declare MAYDAY (because When there is fire the pilot should declare Mayday
After V1 during takeoff below min eng alt altitude I think you aren't supposed to focus on the fire itself, more ensuring the plane climbs away safely from the ground

Maydays aren't really allowed on VATSIM so that's why he's continuing giving other aircraft instructions instead of just focusing on the emergency

He called Mayday because the engine was on fire. An in-flight fire is a critical emergency worthy of a Mayday call
An engine failure in a twine engine aircraft is a mayday, independently from if there is fire or not, which will obiously be an aggravating
