Circuit Breaker Meltdown- Electrical Panel in Bad Shape!!

- Circuit Breakers melting can be a scary task to diagnose. Expecially after a major storm power will go in an out throughout the day. Having a electrical panel exposed to the elements can quicken the like expectancy of the electrical panel mounted outside. Sometimes replacing a circuit breaker will not solve the issue.
Wow after 50 years she definitely needed that panel replaced! That was a dangerous situation to have a melted breaker. Thank you for the video.
Thanks for sharing your knowledge.
Love following you. Suggestion… your camera angle in some of your videos are too low and makes it difficult to see what you’re explaining and/or doing. Other than that, fantastic work and videos.
I’m a seasoned fire investigator and have seen a lot of what you see and describe. Good proceedure too. Very thorough and methodical. Should be proud of your work!!!
We in the U.K. are not allowed to mess with the meter if we are doing a panel change I.e fuse board change in the U.K. in lots of properties now you have a Isolator fitted in the meter cupboard . It’s a great insight how you guys do it across the pond . Great video as always Sir
We fought for Independence because the King was not letting us do our own electrical work. Maybe King Charles will restore the common law rights of Englishmen to perform electrical work.😁
Great couple of videos to get me excited to start the week
Good find & fix ... Thx Steven ...
Please do a video on the new panel install. Would love to see the clean up. Thank you.
Ok
Great video!!
i like how your amp meter gives that tone with presence of voltage cause not all the time the screen is visible especially on dark areas
Please Steve focus your camera well on what you are doing most of the time you focus somewhere else and we can't see what you are doing
Great resourceful work Steven !I live in Alabama and our electrical panels are indoors. I know in Texas ,the panels are outside next to the meter .I don't know why is that way but I am sure the electrical inspection authority has their reasons ! Hope you get the job , but I know the owner is thinking ,what is the last thing I want to spend my money on ! I know ,a new electrical panel !
Sometimes emergencies come at the wrong time.
Actually Greg we have both indoor and outdoor panels - not all are outside here in Texas.
Steven when you have a double pole 40 amp breaker, is the circuit still 40 amps, or does that make it 80 amps with 2 of them? 2nd question, if you have a single breaker module with twin switches, say 20 amps, does that give you 2 completely independent 20 amp circuits that will trip separately and leave the other twin working?
double pole 40 amp breaker does not double its values whatsoever. 2nd question , yes they're totally independent from each other
Is the owner going still going to change the panel ? Enjoy your videos
Yes sirrrrr
Sim your camera a little bit higher. Most of video u only see the bottom 6” of panel. Really enjoy your videos
Thank you will adjust camera
Your camera needs adjusted. Lol. Truth be told, it sounded like she needed to wait for budgeting reasons. It probably could have waited but I get why you had to suggest doing it.
I did a video of the new install, check some other videos you will find it.
Put your camera on point, okay?
Please, try to improve your video.
