As a fellow curly girl, I feel you on the logistics nightmare that is wearing a hat. I've also been looking into balaclavas, and I really like Veronica Lindberg's Grandma Core Hood pattern! Very roomy and designed to look good on and off. Hoping to make it sometime this season! Thanks for another fun video and congratulations!!! Hope you have a great graduation.
Have you tried a silk lining underneath hats ? They are amazing for curly hair . The Lumme is my next cast on and I’m using wool that didn’t work out in another pattern 😁 I like the idea of a balaclava too.
I have very curly hair, and I can rock a balaclava, so you can too! Choose a pattern that’s loose, not tight to your head. The one I made is wool with a strand of mohair and it’s very oversized with a drawstring so it looks like a hood
Can't wait to knit a Petite Knitter design! Her aesthetic is gorgeous. Shibui is amazing yarn but they are no longer making yarn, stock up while stores still have stock!
That is so frustrating! I edited the video yesterday while I was away and it took 10 hours to upload and for some reason none of the photos made it to the edit! I promise for next time there will be photos! This
For some reason the edits didn’t save for the first pattern, but they’re there for the last ones. I wish I had time to re edit, but I sadly don’t this week. Between my graduation and report cards there’s a lot on my plate.
I‘m about to cast on the gambit hoodie by witre design, you should check it out! They also have gambit mittens and i want to make the set so badly 😂 and I also love the Lumme, i saw someone using Lang Yarns Cloud as their contrast colour and it looked amazing too 🥰
Just discovered your videos and bingwatched all of them in one sitting while working on a bright orangy-red weekend hat ! Just wanted to let you know I'm loving your videos and the chill cozy vibe you bring to them, just knitting fun bright things and in general just what you love regardless ! Can't wait for the next one :)
I'm Finnish, and I had no idea that there's such a big population of people with Finnish ancestry in Canada! That's fascinating 💕 Also lol I can absolutely relate to your hat struggles as a fellow thick haired person 😂 Loved the video, such a great variety of patterns.

Thank you and I’ll check out that balaclava! I didn’t get around to a whole lot of knitting this winter, but I would love one in my wardrobe!

I haven’t but I could! The only thing is my sewing skills are very subpar 😂 but I use silk pillowcases most of the time
Some great plans. I’m also curly haired.
Love a curly girly

Ooh that’s a cool concept I could look into for next fall/winter
Such a good podcast, love the way you talk round things so incisively - helpful and inspiring 😀
Thank you so much!
Can't wait to knit a Petite Knitter design! Her aesthetic is gorgeous. Shibui is amazing yarn but they are no longer making yarn, stock up while stores still have stock!
Ooh thanks for letting me kniw
Shibui was on sale unfortunately because the company closed down
Thanks for informing me
I actually prefer flat knits for mindless knitting. I find i take more breaks/do stretches when I'm forced to reorient my knitting.
This is true a mindless stockinette cardigan body can be greatn
love love love your sweater and this video, i also want to knit the Lumme sweater !
Thank you 😊 hopefully I get around to casting it on this year!
This is the first video of yours I've seen and it was posted on my birthday ❤
Yay!
Im not sure but... i see no photo's of the patterns

@@theknittingpaige loved the video none the less. And I looked uo the belaclava and I'm pretty sure somewhere down the line I'll have to make one too
For some reason the first pattern's photos don't show up, but the other ones are in it from 10 minutes onwards. I apologize!
Paige, The pics aren’t posted on the screen.
