Hello everyone! In this week's video, I am turning myself into a 3D Vtuber with Vroid Studio! I will also be using VMagicMirror and OBS. A VTuber, or virtual UA-camr, is an online entertainer who uses a virtual avatar generated using computer graphics and motion capture software or technology.

Its really nice how slowly we are able to start doing things like making vtubers to this extent for free now. It makes things a lot easier. If I wasn't lazy Id take advantage of these programs~ Great video!
I've been spending a lot of time in Vroid myself, so this was a fun video. I agree: lines in Vroid are extreme hard to get right. Even if you create textures in an external program the straight lines you draw sometimes look crooked when imported into Vroid. But the program is so great for creating models that it's worth the struggle.
My tip is a program my friend uses a lot she makes vroid avatars as a hobby and always fixes them up after viewing them with face tracking there. The program she uses is called VUP, she adjusts the expressions really well there. I don’t know a ton about the program since I’m not a tuber myself but from what she showed me it looks great!

I love this update so much! Mostly because of all the sample body parts, clothes, hairstyles etc. you can start with! That will definitely help me, same as the fact that the characters are way more customizable, as I had trouble with adjusting some of the parts to match my characters in the beta version...
And i love your model! It's really similar to your artstyle, that's why I find it absolutely adorable 💛💛💛
Also, I have a small suggestion for a video! I'll probably write it in a separate comment too, so more people can see it.
As I recently am absolutely addicted to picrew (as you can see by my profile pic HAHA) I thought it would be fun to see you making characters here and maybe drawing them later! I remember you made a video like this with gacha life, so I thought you might enjoy using picrew too!

Thanks for the tutorial!!! One Tip you can also do is type in negative numbers or custom numbers into the clothing parameters to go beyond the limit. (If u wanted to make a shirt longer or thinner ect.) Just make sure you check for clipping as some clothing wont work well if stretched too far! :)

I HAVE TIPS FOR VEESEEFACE!!!
On the bottom you see the calibrate menus. Basically, what you’re gonna wanna do is click on the emotion you wanna capture and basically talk and move around with the expression you would normally make if that makes sense?
So if you want it to track “fun” you would click on the fun button and start just like..talking and moving around while smiling or whatever you wanna do.
Once you’re done with that you click calibrate and it’ll prompt you to save your calibration (I forget if it has its own default folder or not, but if it doesn’t then make one for your calibrations so you can load them up when you wanna use it! I forget how to load them personally but I’m sure there’s a tutorial somewhere as many people use this)

In General Settings, there is an Expression area where you can make the expressions toggle with hotkeys. When you used it, it automatically started Expression Detection.

A quick tip is that you can manually input the values for clothes and stuff. This is helpful for clothes that look too bulky, like if the “limit” is 1 you can input -2 in the box can the results will show accordingly. So really your not limited by the sliders.
